I recently purchased four 35-gallon bins from Uline--two black, one blue, and one green. I chose…read morethe 35-gallon size because I believed it would be more than adequate for a two-family home that generates a relatively small amount of trash and recycling. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with these bins. The product photos are misleading because they do not provide a clear view of the bins from above. Had they shown the top opening properly, I would have immediately noticed the large U-shaped indentations on the front and back. These indentations significantly restrict the usable opening and squeeze large clear and trash bags inward, preventing the bags from sitting open as they should. This makes it unnecessarily difficult to add additional garbage or recycling. The bins themselves appear to be solidly constructed, but good construction does not make up for a fundamentally impractical design. The stated 35-gallon capacity is misleading in terms of actual usability because a substantial portion of that capacity cannot be used effectively with standard large bags. Had the product photos accurately shown the top opening and interior design, I would not have purchased these bins. I would have chosen another company or spent the additional money on 45-gallon containers. Unfortunately, I paid a premium price for a product that does not perform as I reasonably expected. I strongly caution potential buyers: do not rely solely on Uline's product photos or stated gallon capacity. Carefully examine the opening and design before purchasing. What looks like a spacious 35-gallon container is considerably less practical once you actually try to use it with standard trash or recycling bags. This experience has significantly reduced my confidence in Uline. I expected better product representation and better value for the premium price. Instead, I am left with four expensive bins whose design makes them frustrating to use. No wonder in my residential of thousands of residents required to use this style of bin, I'm the only person who purchased the U-line product and now regretting my $550 purchase. I cannot recommend these bins, and based on this experience, I would caution others to think twice before purchasing them from Uline.

Date of visit: May 1, 2026…read more Being a longtime member of Team Costco, I haven't been to a Sam's Club in forever. Like pre-COVID forever. But my friend that dabbles with the dark side needed to stop here and get a battery for his lawn mower and I tagged along. It's essentially the same format and much of the same merchandise as Costco, but there were some other things that my favorite Washington-based retailer doesn't carry, so I guess I could see how someone might want to visit both to get more variety in the items they purchase. Employees were few and far between, even at the battery center, which meant that we had to trek back to the registers to purchase the battery, which was annoying, and wasn't making me seriously consider supplementing my Costco membership with a Sam's card as well. However the store was in good condition, and kept up far better than most Walmarts.

If you're looking for quality and quantity, Sam's Club probably has it. From the $5 rotisserie…read morechicken to the $10 pizza at the Sam's Cafe you are sure yo find a good deal. They also have a great variety of produce and frozen food section. I have also used the tire and battery department several times and found them to be very competitive. I also usually fill up my tank since the gas is often less expensive than other stations in the area. I love the convenience of using the Scan & Go feature in their app. It makes checking out and ordering food at the cafe really easy and convenient especially when there is a long line. The long lines are a problem when returning items. It seems like the almost always have just one employee working the return line.

Everything seems to be where it should be so no complaints so far. I love Sam' s club because of their bakery section. Got a half sheet cake with my daughter's picture on it plus 36 cupcakes and all for about $40. Can't beat that deal! The cake and cupcakes are not that bad either and the kids seem to like it. They are also available on short notice so for a busy mom, that's a plus!

With 32 suggested servings the cake was massive. Its official description is a "Chocolate cake, filled and iced with rich brownie batter icing, garnished with chocolate cake crumbs, brownie batter rosettes, chocolate flakes and chocolate drizzle". Enough chocolate for you? The icing had a welcoming amount of grittiness to its texture, and the chocolate flakes added a satisfying crunch that contrasted nicely to the moist cake. Texturally, the cake was not quite as fudgy or moist as a good brownie, but it was an acceptable level for a cake. I loved the extra amount of frosting required to make the also visually appealing rosettes. Doughboy approved for all the chocoholics out there. Doughboy_Food_Reviews
