Calvary Murrieta Christian School falsely claimed to be accredited by ACSI and WASC for 2020 school…read moreyear, for all grades and they were not. They chose not to be by calling and canceling their mid-review. None of the children have accreditations. If anyone would like more information please let me know. Furthermore, Sherry Marino was instructed by Mical Bell Andrews to not allow my son, that has known health issues, to go to the health room or call home when he was ill. This was brought to my attention by employees and I have declarations from several faculty. My son suffers from chronic stomach issues and was witnessed sitting through his lunch AND recess with his head on the table in pain after being refused to go to the health room. This school is horrible and nobody seems to want to talk about. I will not be quiet about the continued abuse these poor children are experiencing. When I addressed these issues I was met by a noncaring board member named Jennifer Bursch that could care less about the abuse my son had been through. Her emails were cruel and denying without any concern whatsoever for the truth or facts. I am beside myself at the non Christlike actions of this school and their board of directors. This school has done nothing but deteriorate since Mical Bell was allowed to reside as principal.

With that said I had two sons go through William Collier. My youngest just promoted from 5th grade and is on to middle school. My 13 year old who is entering the 8th grade went preschool through 5th grade and my 10 year old who just promoted to 6th grade went K through 5th. Both my sons really liked WCE. My experience through the years is the front office we're always kind, helpful and friendly. And all the teachers they had seemed to always care for the students. Maybe I'm being a little sentimental but I'm going to miss having a child attending WCE. Thank you for all the fond memories. So...... IF you're one of those parents who just expect to drop their kids off and their kids get straight A's then maybe a private school is more your thing. But if you're heavily involved in your child's daily life in and outside the classroom then WCE will be more than fine. Thank you for the fond memories WCE!

All year last year I actually thought the VP was the Principal because he is the only person I saw all the time doing the duties of the Principal, having contact with the kids and parents. Don't even get me started on the lady in the front office. I just don't understand why people are so unhappy working when there are so many people unemployed looking for work. Many people would love to have her job and would enjoy coming to work everyday, why can't they find someone like this. All the other schools I've been too, the people working there are very happy and helpful, they are excited to have a job and get out early and have every Holiday and Fur-low day off. A major grip I have is that it seems that there is a lot of favoritism going on with the kids and their performing arts. For example when they do shows on/off campus, they have some kids singing a set of songs or one song by themselves when NO other kids where given an equal opportunity to audition for that spot. The teachers that are running the performances are putting their kids, or kids they know or like in the show with out giving every child at that school the opportunity to try out for it, it is not fair to the other kids; every one should have a chance to try out for these opportunities as well, and the best kid should get the chance? After all, I thought this was a performing arts type school, all these kids should have equal opportunities, regardless of who their parents are or who they know at the school.

A few days a week, they do 100 mile club runs in the morning. It promotes physical activities for the children and also the parents, since they're allowed to participate as well. There could be a better process to picking up the kids, but this is more for the parents than for the school. Some people need to learn how to take turns going into the school for children pick up.

The teachers are compassionate and engaging. They teach students independence and self advocacy, which in turn prepares them for the next stages in their education. There are tons of activities that incorporate families, such as lunch with a loved one, fall festival, and literacy and STEM nights. During all of our years at Red Hawk, our favorite principal by far has been Taylor Lundin. She is always present, greeting students in the morning and saying goodbye in the afternoons. She cares deeply about student and parent safety. She strives to ensure that all students have access to a top notch education, which is very important to my family! I have also watched as Mrs. Lundin has guided her intervention administrators into assistant principals, creating more opportunities for those individuals to grow! It's truly amazing to see. We moved to Temecula for its wonderful schools, and Red Hawk is no exception! I highly recommend becoming a Hero at Red Hawk Elementary!

We had some discipline issues and they were handled great. This year has been wonderful, my son is actually excited to go to school. The teachers and staff have been great. They may need a little help answering the phone but I just come in person if it's too important. I figured they are kinda busy with all those kids so let's cut them some slack. Traffic at drop off and pick up is a challenge, some entitled parents don't care about rules but we can't hold that against TMS. My son will make the most of his time here!

Seeing my child grow academically and spiritually for the last four years has been very rewarding, to say the least. As a Teacher myself, I can confidently leave my child with a peace of mind. Knowing my child is taken care of and is receiving the personalized education needed to be successful is very valuable to us. Another reason why I recommend this place is because of the student to teacher ratio. This is part of the reason why our children are successful.
