After casually shopping for a car for 8+ months, my husband and I decided we were ready to make the…read morejump and buy a Subaru. Before Subaru of Pueblo, we'd been to a slew of dealerships and had almost as many negative experiences. I am very happy to report that we had the best ever car buying experience here. They were courteous and helpful without being overly pushy or salesy. They were efficent and honest. We walked out of their dealership with fair price we wanted to pay with all of the repairs we requested they make and a lower interest rate than we expected on our loan. A hot tip I recommend for non-Pueblo car shoppers who may be buying in Pueblo: if there's a car you love, negotiate price over email before driving down there. We didn't do this on a car we looked at in Dillion and it was really disappointing to get there and find out the dealer wasn't willing to negotiate price. Here, we negotiated price before coming down to see/drive it so if it was the car we wanted to buy, we knew it was already what we wanted to pay. Makes the 100 mile trek a bit more tolerable!

Buyer Beware - Our Experience with Subaru of Pueblo & Solon Automotive LLC…read moreMy parents, who are both in their 70s, visited Subaru of Pueblo with the intention of leasing a new 2026 Subaru Ascent. Instead, after spending an entire day at the dealership, they left having purchased a 2023 Subaru Ascent. The overall experience left our family disappointed and concerned. The salesperson, Manuel Garcia, used sales tactics that my family felt were overly aggressive and pressured my elderly parents into a purchase they had not originally intended to make. The vehicle was represented as having been inspected prior to sale. However, after taking it home, we discovered: A broken driver's side air vent. A poorly replaced passenger-side window with extremely wavy glass that noticeably distorts visibility. Neither issue was disclosed during the sales process. While Subaru of Pueblo agreed to repair the broken air vent, they declined to address the defective window, explaining that the previous owner had chosen that replacement glass. Our concern isn't simply that the window wasn't repaired--it's that a vehicle supposedly inspected was sold without either the inspection or the salesperson bringing these issues to my parents' attention. These defects also did not appear to be reflected in the vehicle's price. As consumers, we expect licensed automotive sales professionals to demonstrate integrity, honesty, and transparency. Unfortunately, our experience reinforced the old saying: buyer beware. Ironically, Subaru of Pueblo and Solon Automotive LLC publicly states: "Solon Automotive LLC is dedicated to truly exceptional customer service, provided by honest, responsible, and respectful people... We strive to be the auto dealer of choice for our customers... and a model of integrity and excellence for our industry and community." Based on our experience, we do not believe that mission statement was reflected during the sales process. I do want to recognize Josh and the Service Department. They were professional, courteous, repaired the broken vent correctly, and completed the work within the promised timeframe. Their service was the bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience. While I appreciate the efforts of the service department, I cannot recommend purchasing a vehicle from Subaru of Pueblo or Solon Automotive LLC based on our experience. We felt the focus was on completing the sale rather than ensuring transparency and treating customers--especially elderly customers--with the honesty, responsibility, respect, and integrity the dealership claims to value. I hope this review encourages the dealership to better align its sales practices with the mission statement it proudly displays.

We brought our 2016 Denali in for a shimmy in the transmission. Our Denali has 45K ORIGINAL miles…read more It drives my husband to work every other week, because of carpool share. It has sat for months out of the last several years, due to his battle with cancer. We were told the trani harness was bad and needed replaced and a system update. Adding the trani needed fluid service. In addition, we were told it needed new shocks, repair to pipes on the oil cooling system and additional services leading up to nearly $9000. Yes, that's $9000. On a vehicle with 45K miles! Here's the thing, (quoting) "The trani fluid is burned, and we don't want to put it back in the transmission." It's a sealed unit, you didn't drain it! Not even a trani dip stick on this model. The harness isn't in the trani. The shocks are fine, and the protective wrap on the harness you replaced was left hanging. I have video of trans fluid and pics of harness, from the mechanic that cleaned up your mess..... This is why you have a terrible reputation. It should be an embarrassment to quote such a repair cost to the owner of a, babied, vehicle with 45K on it. We will never be back. Yes, I own a Chevy too... so, that's double the loss.

Well, I have multiple issues with this place…read more 1st I live in Thornton and they were aware of that and when I got there the car had about 5 decent sized hell dents on the hood. They didn't even tell me about them before I drove down. 2nd the car was making noise and the sales person, Joe, took a test drive with me and sore that it was just an exhaust bracket that was loose. I asked him multiple times and he was 100% certain as he was a muscle car guy. Well stupid me took his word for it and turns out he was wrong. I called and talked to him and he didn't even try to help me or even offer any solutions. It has taken them 2 weeks to get back to me and finally they did and offered to get me $1000 off an extended warranty but that I needed to bring the car down and have them go through it and If they found anything I would be liable to fix it before they could honor the warranty. Well there is in fact something wrong as it still makes the same noise as the day I drove it off the lot and the car has just over 1000 miles on it since I bought it. So these people are your typical car sales men and don't care about the customer nor what they sell you. I would NOT recommend doing business with them at all. If I could give them a zero star I would.
