We brought our 2016 Denali in for a shimmy in the transmission. Our Denali has 45K ORIGINAL miles. It drives my husband to work every other week, because of carpool share. It has sat for months out of the last several years, due to his battle with cancer. We were told the trani harness was bad and needed replaced and a system update. Adding the trani needed fluid service. In addition, we were told it needed new shocks, repair to pipes on the oil cooling system and additional services leading up to nearly $9000. Yes, that's $9000. On a vehicle with 45K miles! Here's the thing, (quoting) "The trani fluid is burned, and we don't want to put it back in the transmission." It's a sealed unit, you didn't drain it! Not even a trani dip stick on this model. The harness isn't in the trani. The shocks are fine, and the protective wrap on the harness you replaced was left hanging. I have video of trans fluid and pics of harness, from the mechanic that cleaned up your mess..... This is why you have a terrible reputation. It should be an embarrassment to quote such a repair cost to the owner of a, babied, vehicle with 45K on it. We will never be back. Yes, I own a Chevy too... so, that's double the loss. read more

Well, I have multiple issues with this place. 1st I live in Thornton and they were aware of that and when I got there the car had about 5 decent sized hell dents on the hood. They didn't even tell me about them before I drove down. 2nd the car was making noise and the sales person, Joe, took a test drive with me and sore that it was just an exhaust bracket that was loose. I asked him multiple times and he was 100% certain as he was a muscle car guy. Well stupid me took his word for it and turns out he was wrong. I called and talked to him and he didn't even try to help me or even offer any solutions. It has taken them 2 weeks to get back to me and finally they did and offered to get me $1000 off an extended warranty but that I needed to bring the car down and have them go through it and If they found anything I would be liable to fix it before they could honor the warranty. Well there is in fact something wrong as it still makes the same noise as the day I drove it off the lot and the car has just over 1000 miles on it since I bought it. So these people are your typical car sales men and don't care about the customer nor what they sell you. I would NOT recommend doing business with them at all. If I could give this place zero stars I would! We are from out of town and began to have problems with our truck. My husband called Wilcoxson to ask if they had an appointment to read the engine code and fix what needed to be done. He was told by Tracey "of course", bring it in, in the morning. He had our truck there at 8am and was told, this is the code and was asked if he was going to wait for it. He told them no, he had a ride back to the camp site, but wanted to know how long it would take. Well the Diesel mechanic is busy all day and won't get to it until tomorrow. WHAT!?! Why was he told to bring it in then! Tracey didn't listen to a word my husband said about being on a time crunch. Tomorrow came and no phone call, so he called and a phone call was not returned to him. My husband decided to go down to GMC to actually get some answers. He was told our truck needed a part that was back ordered weeks. Granted they knew we were from out of town and did not have weeks to wait, so we told them to put our truck back together and we will fix it when we get home. They are very inconsiderate, it would have just taken a quick phone call from Tracey to say, I'm so sorry, this is what's wrong and oh by the way, we don't have that part. After padding my bill (see previous review) and way overcharging me for fuel pump ($1500), my check-engine light came on and the fuel gauge is stuck on "full." I had to leave phone message with "circle-back" girl (see previous review) Kelsey, regarding failed service and repair. Even though my car was still under warranty, she didn't bother getting back to me.....no one did! There would be no follow-up from me as I don't want my car back there. I once highly recommended Wilcoxson, I now no longer trust the service depart here. Long story short, I use Wilcoxson all the time for routine maintenance, recently they've hiked their prices way up. My wife went in for an oil change they refused to quote her on price until it was completed, at which time they hit her with a bill of nearly double their past prices. If you call or go in for a service and they refuse to quote you on the job before the work has been done, no matter if you have done countless business with them in the past, take that refusal of a quote as a bad sign and go do business elsewhere. In the past we've used gmc for a number of services on our vehicles. They've always been up front and professional. I've always highly recommended them. (Which is unusual for a dealership) The last time we used them, my wife took her car for an oil change and we had a much different experience, more along the lines of slimy dealership antics. Historically they've had great pricing at 45 bucks out the door (I keep all my service records), and they've always been speedy, and very polite. This last time, we made our oil change appointment as usual and my wife took our two kids with her to drop off her car. As she handed the keys over she asked for a quote, to which the mechanic working said they wouldn't be able to give one until the oil change was done. My wife noted that was strange but knowing the price in the past she wasn't too concerned. She proceeded to sit in the waiting room for an hour with our two children, mind you we made an appointment well in advance and past experience was usually a max of 30 minutes. During this wait a different mechanic than the first tried upselling her on a number of further repairs, (par for the course, my wife denied as we all do, no harm done) my wife asked again to this new mechanic what the cost of the oil change would be since this mechanic was quoting prices for all sorts of other repairs. This mechanic again tells her the oil change is not done yet and it would be impossible to tell her the cost until it was. When her vehicle was finished she paid $75. This was quite a shock, at a $30 dollar increase over the previous price. When she relayed this information to me the very first thing I did was call and ask for a quote on an oil change for her specific car, which I was immediately quoted $75 and told that was a standard price by two different employees who literally looked it up in there system. To be clear it's not the change in price that I'm so dissatisfied with, prices are jumping all over the place these days... a price hike is to be expected. What has me so disappointed is the decline in customer service... To lie to my wife when she's there with my two children, and refuse a quote for a standard service and then hit her with an outrageous bill, well that's the upsetting part. What that says to me, is that what they told her about having to do the service before they could give her a price was an outright lie, and one intended to be predatory toward a woman and her two children. I believe the mechanics here wanted to trap her into paying for a service she otherwise would not have had done. To add to that predatory behavior...before letting my wife leave with her keys, they were very aggressive about adding on the additional services they attempted to upsell earlier. Mind you these are all services which have already been performed via myself or our other usual mechanic (the transmission doctor, John, and the import doctor, Josh, located in pueblo west. I highly recommend them) Nonetheless the service mechanic insisted my wife would be foolish not to have these repairs done immediately. Moreover, I have been calling everyday for a week trying to speak with the manager, and he refuses to even take my call. Everyday the receptionist hurries me to his voicemail. It seems to me this dealership has either undergone a leadership change, or needs to undergo one. This steep decline in customer service has totally changed my opinion of them in just one oil change. read more

Went to Wilcoxin on Saturday and looked at a 2023 Terrain. Worked up a dealer sheet. Decided to come back Monday to test drive it. After test driving and going through all the vehicle options we decided to purchase it. We get in the sales office and start the paperwork. One of the goons come in and decide they don't want to honor the dealer sheet and our trade in. My mother is 83 and dad is 90. Looks like they wanted to take advantage of them being elderly. Glad I stayed. Pueblo car dealers wonder why we go out of town to purchase. They thought they had my parents sucked in since they test drove it. I bought a car for my wife this week. The salesperson, Richard, and the finance guy, Jason, were both great to work with. Both were very professional. No pressure at all. We test drove and bought the next day. Went in and signed the papers and were out in 15 minnutes. It was, honestly, a pretty easy and stress free experience. Very fair prices. read more

The "service" in their service department is beyond lacking. After service I sent an email to the service manager with concerns regarding "service" at which he only responded with excuses and reasons for their lacking for him teams lack of service rather than solutions or corrections and actually placed blame on me. After 2 Cadillac purchase from this dealership I will never purchase there again. they don't keep their word and the manager and Weston are liars and don't understand the concept of keeping their word. i applied for credit and was told I would be contacted the next day but I was told the sale was pending to another customer the next day so they pulled my credit knowing it was pending and didn't say anything about no deposit and gave me the excuse that I didn't put a deposit. This place will literally STEAL your money and give you a broken vehicle back. We took our car in for a loud noise upon start up. They diagnosed it and we followed their recommendations to fix it. I have a voicemail confirming the price "out the door" would be $2,100 and when the car was done, it was close to $2,900. They couldn't tell us why so much more but either way that's not even the main problem. The icing on the cake is that we paid for it and it is still NOT FIXED. It had been in the shop for almost a month too. We took it back and it sat their again for around 10 more days and they still didn't fix the loud noise. It actually sounds worse. If I could attach a video to my review, I would. Even a child can hear it and how it's broken and sounds terrible. Ultimately, JJ the service manager told us he will not refund any money and there's nothing they can do and they "tried their best". Told us to get the car or they'd start charging us storage fees?! Excuse me?? YOU have been holding my car up for over a month!! THEY ARE CRIMINALS STEALING HARD WORKING PEOPLE'S MONEY AND PROVIDING NO SERVICE!! Used to work as a oil lube tech and can tell you this business does illegal things. Paid 200 for a new starter and fried in a month due to bolts being over tightened to at least at least 100 ft lbs due to lazy mechanic probably using an a half inch impact. Also when i pulled the fried starter found out it was refurbished and not new and then called orielly's manager to find out they have an limit on up charge and that is 180 highest cap for refurbished. On a Thursday afternoon, while on vacation our 2016 GMC Dually went into Reduced Power Mode, while on Loritta Pass, while pulling our 5th wheel. Stranded on the shoulder of US 160 East, called Wilcoxson Service Department for help/assistance. JJ recommended Waynes Towing for recovery of truck & 5th wheel, Tony from Waynes Towing, dropped our truck off at Wilcoxson, in the early morning hours of Friday morning. Knowing we were from Washington and stranded with no truck to pull our 5th wheel, Janette made sure our truck was looked at first thing Friday morning. Around noon, Janette called and told us our truck was sorted, test driven and ready for us to continue our vacation. Having no way to get from Pueblo South KOA to Wilcoxson, Janette dispatched a driver to pick us up and bring us to the dealership! Wilcoxson salvaged our family vacation. Called 3 times and not once being put through to speak with him . This place will give you the run around. Not a way a business should be ran . They post adds without prices and then try to get your to come in without answer questions about pricing. They won't answer questions about towing capacities & AC's and instead just send you several email adds. They send multiple emails a day without answering questions just trying to get you to come in even after being told that I was hours away and needed info first. They continue to email me even after I told them I purchased a vehicle form someone else and did not want to receive emails from them. read more

Employees were friendly and welcoming, practiced mask wearing and social distancing. Felt like they really listened to my concerns with my car and fixed it right the first time. Waiting area is nothing special, but is clean and comfortable with coffee, water, tv, wifi and bathrooms available. It's a dealership but has that friendly hometown service shop feel. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere when looking to buy a car or truck from these clowns. My wife bought a brand new Cadillac CTS and I purchased a used (12k miles) GMC Sierra 1500. We have had nothing but problems with this company, from the service dept scheduling to arguing all the way to Cadillac corporate. Problem after problem and horrible customer service the whole way. I do not have the time to list every problem but take my word for it, I have had better service at southwest motors honestly. I have relocated to another state and can not believe the difference in the gmc dealership near my new home and Pueblos. Gosh night and day. Not to mention they sell Cadillacs and trucks over $80k and they don't even have air conditioning in the customer lounge(I guess that's what you call it) lol. read more

So we came here looking for a vehicle we found online didn't end up purchasing it and decided to try out our first Buick! Our salesman Rick was super awesome, also all the staff we came in contact with all had smiles and were very kind. After purchasing the vehicle we drove for 1 hour before we had a hiccup we'll call it but how they handled it was great. We were given a rental car while they fixed our new car we only ended up going 1 day without our new vehicle which was great considering how anxious one is wanting to drive the new whip of course. They even did a huge courtesy to us and drove our 2nd vehicle from Pueblo to Colorado Springs for us! We plan on upgrading my car very soon and we definitely plan on going back for our next purchase thanks everyone! read more

Terrible customer service from a car dealer - why am I surprised? Wilcoxson bait-and-switched us several times on a deal for a newer model MDX. They told us over the phone that the condition of the tires was "a 7 out of 10". Of course when we got there all four tires were obviously worn, more like 4/10. We negotiated a new set of tires in the purchase, but it wasn't until after the deal was done that they said, "oh, we're not going to install the tires, we're just going to mail them to your house." Seriously?? Now I have to haul four huge tires into my garage, find space to store them, then load them up, take them to the shop, and pay to have them installed. Nice one Wilcoxson, you got me there! Also, after the deal was done and they were bringing us the keys, they informed us there was only one set of keys to the car. It's going to cost a couple hundred dollars and couple hours of time wasted to go to the dealership to have a new smart key made. Tricked me again Wilcoxson! But the real piece de resistance was their incompetence in transferring the vehicle title. Bought the car in July and didn't get plates for almost FOUR MONTHS. We had to go back to the DMV THREE TIMES (!!!) to extend the temporary plates b/c Wilcoxson kept sending the title to the lender instead of to the DMV. The Wilcoxson lady was a total jerk to our bank, even though she was the one who didn't know how to do her job. I spent so much time on the phone with Wilcoxson and my lender trying to clean up Wilcoxson's mess. Wilcoxson made the car buying process extremely difficult. Their unique combination of incompetence and shadiness cost us money and hours of wasted time. Avoid buying a car from these people. read more

We have been taking our Cadillac SRX 2014 to this dealership for service and all our service needs have been accomplished as requested. The dealer has been able to resolved some very difficult problems with some modules, which could not be pinpoint before. The dealer worked with us to get these issues resolved. read more

OWNERS PLEASE READ!!!!! RECALL # 10243B !!!! 2009----2010 Buick Enclave Chevy Traverse GMC Acadia Saturn Outlook Don't waste your time with this service department..!!!! First experience in 2017 they had my vehicle a full week for diagnostics while I'm paying for a rental, no phone call until we called them at the end of the week to be told they didn't get to it......Should have learned my lesson. Fast forward to may 2019. I've got some recall things to do and the transmission is having issues. The issue reported by us, and the techs report don't seem to come close to what we are seeing. Incredibly did not even have to put on a mile to come to that conclusion. $6,500 for a new tranni..not really surprised... I was mistaken in believing that the recall was for the second row belt buckles as one was exposed and nonfunctional and the other had the outer buckle cover missing and the inner workings exposed. That work was "done" in 2010 at another shop according to their paperwork. Ok..... But to send that vehicle out of Wilcoxson, not raising a flag that those buckles could fail with my kids in those seats is at the least negligent when we are trusting you as Certified GM Techs to spot issue's we may be completely oblivious too.. Luckily these buckles were on my radar, and I rescheduled to have them replaced at my cost as my passenger's safety is My top priority. When my wife attempts to drop the car off at said appointment there is some confusion that required Chris the parts manager to get involved, but he was busy eating breakfast and could be seen in plain view, continuing to eat after being called for his help. My wife had to ask him to stop eating and assist her as his breakfast was much more important than her time as she only had to get her job. Long story short the described work in Recall# 10243B was never performed as the inner trim was never notched to prevent the buckles from being damaged. Had anyone from Wilcoxson actually looked instead of just reading what their report said, it's obvious the job was not done. My concern is the thousands of these vehicles out there and how many lives are at risk from this type of " customer service" If you have one of these vehicles and the second row buckles are exposed, Do NOT use them.... I've lived in Pueblo Colorado for the last 35 years my grandpa retired from Wilcoxson, the owners treated him well. My cousin worked for them for many years. I have bought new vehicles from many dealerships in town all with pretty decent experiences. As I got older and wiser I believed buying a new GMC 3500 Denali would be a good move. I owned the truck for two days and the DEF system had a failure. I took it to Wilcoxson service department and they had it for 47 days trying to fix the problem. They say they repaired the issue, but since then I have had more problems with the DEF system multiple times, along with other issues. Every time I have had to deal with the service department they give me the run around and lie frequently about what they are doing. They say their technician is working on it and I go around back and the truck is parked in the same exact location every day. I call them to see how it is coming along and they say the technician is working on it. I tell them the truck has not moved for weeks some times. Then they say oh our technician is out sick after I catch them in a lie. Customer service is the worst I've dealt with in this town and there are some doozies out there. I am trading in my 2018 GMC Denali 3500 for some other brand. read more

Last week may daughter and 5-year-old granddaughter were traveling 1,800 miles from Indiana to Phoenix, AZ when they experienced car problems. They were able to limp into a Buick dealership (Wilcoxson Buick GMC), in Pueblo, CO. The next morning, she took her car in for repairs. The dealer didn't have the part they said was the problem, so they had to order it out of Denver to arrive the next day. So, they had to stay another night in Pueblo. The next day she went and picked-up her car paid nearly $400, and was on her way. It wasn't 20 miles later, she started having the same problem. She called the dealer and turned around and headed back to Wilcoxson Buick. They said, well you've driven the car 50 miles and now you have a new problem. That'll be another $125 to diagnose the issue + parts & labor. This time they said they'd take a part off a used car and did so, but this didn't fix the problem either. I called and talked to the service writer and he said that the heat was causing the computer to send false codes. Frustrated that Wilcoxson couldn't fix the problem, my daughter took her car and continued on her trip. I requested the service manager to call me but 4 days later and still no call. So after $400 repair bill and 2 nights in a hotel, her car is still not fixed and the dealer is avoiding me and blaming my daughter for the problem. She should have just went to Autozone. Needless to say, we don't have much good to say about this experience or this dealer. How would you feel if your daughter was treated this way? read more

never in my life have i seen such crooked bullshit. i got my dodge 3500 appraised not an hour before i went there for 18,000 and they said they would give me only 7,000 for it. the person who test drove my vehicle was slamming gears dropping the clutch and slamming on the brakes so hard that abs was pumping back. then they told me to kelly blue book my vehicle and they would match that price and the average for my vehicle was 16,000 and they said nope never mind we cant do that your truck isn't worth it and we have to fix a lot of stuff on it. and ill admit the driver mirror has a crack on it and so does the middle console leather. so i asked what needs fixed they said new tires for sure when i showed them proof of when i bought all 6 tires for it and then asked about the dodge they had that i was looking at cause it had all four bald tires. none of the blinkers worked the transmission was going out the ac didn't work the brakes barely stopped me when i test drove it and the steering was so loose and sloppy and they said fine we will kelly blue book our own vehicle. They had there price at 27,500 and kelly blue book said 20,000 average. And keep in mind they say there a kelly blue book registered company. then they had the balls to tell me my truck was a piece of shit and that i would have to pay the 20,000 some difference that they wouldn't drop the price so i up and left. i recommend everyone to stay away from that worthless company. read more
