Set design, costumes, choreography, singing, music, acting were all top notch. Some of the things you should know before you go. 1) Parking can be a challenge because they don't have their own garage. There are several garages nearby (about a block walking distance), but you will want to arrive really early to make sure you have time to find a space, make your way to the theater, and find your seat before the show starts. We were coming from Richardson, so we knew we would need over an hour to travel there, but because of the parking situation, we left even earlier at 11:30 am for a 1:30pm show time start. 2) The building is quite modern. They have several entrances, but you may be asked to wait on the street in the elements before they open the doors and start scanning tickets. Be prepared to stand in the elements. 3) The seats are quite narrow and the arm rest is shared with your seat mate. If you are an average sized American, you might find the average seats quite uncomfortable. The person next to me was blubbering through her seat into mine. She was also very enthusiastic tapping along with the beat. Both things were unpleasant for me. There are box seats that have independent chairs. If I return to this venue, I will pay for one of these to avoid feeling like a sardine. They have an amazing line up of shows. I wish they were closer because I would definitely be a season ticket holder so that I could enjoy every single one of their amazing shows.

You want to be treated like family, you know how your fun aunt treats you? COME HERE!…read more Food - I tried the pulled pork sliders from the appetizer menu and oh my goodness they were perfectly balanced, they cooked the meat perfectly and the portion sizes were pretty decent. I am so excited to come back and try the Reuben, yes we eat sauerkraut over here. Service - I came right in between shift change, so Garrett was our bartender and she was phenomenal. She was so inviting friendly, great conversationalist, and knowledgeable. You could tell that she loved working at the post. Having a bartender like her guarantees that I will come back and I want to bring everyone here. Greeting - when I first entered it appeared that a server was at the host stand, and she was so inviting even when I said I was just going to sit at the bar. How you get greeted at a restaurant is your first impression and every single person made me feel welcome especially coming in as a party of one. The drinks are absolutely phenomenal and it looks like they have performances quite often as band members were coming in to get set up for a performance. When it's not a real feel of 115°, the patio is going to be completely full, it's an amazing setup it's giving beer garden vibes.

They don't have a full kitchen but considering, they made delicious soups and sandwiches for us. I had the green pozole and the Reuben which were both great. It was super quiet when we went, probably due to the cold weather on a weeknight but we had some heaters which meant we could sit outside. I'd love to come back in the summer or when they have a live band playing. A great little spot.

Fantastic Family Fun -- and Beware of the Claw Machines!…read more For our grandson's 9th birthday, we decided to venture to Cidercade Fort Worth, and what a fantastic choice! Admission was $12 per person, and nearly all the arcade games are included with admission. Play as much as you want! We easily spent 3-4 hours here, and everyone had a great time. With the Texas temperatures blazing outside, an air-conditioned arcade was also a pretty darn good place to spend the afternoon! There is a huge selection of games with plenty for both kids and adults. Basketball, racing, classic arcade games--you can wander around for hours. Then my son-in-law discovered the claw machines. Once he started, it snowballed into stuffed toy after stuffed toy. By the time he was finished, we had enough stuffed animals spread across the table to open our own toy store! Be warned, though: the claw machines are NOT included with admission and you pay separately to play. Apparently nobody bothered explaining that to my son-in-law before he went into full claw-machine domination mode! We also ordered pizza, and it was very good. It's a thin-crust style, loaded with toppings and made for a perfect break between games. Of course, with a name like Cidercade, we had to sample the cider! There were plenty of choices, and the ones we tried were very good. For $12 admission and several hours of entertainment, I think Cidercade is an outstanding value. More importantly, our grandson had a fantastic birthday outing and the entire family enjoyed themselves. Great games, good pizza, plenty of cider and a table full of stuffed animals we somehow had to get home. That's a successful birthday! Definitely a 5-star experience for us!

4 Stars? Let me tell you why…read more Cidercade Fort Worth is one of those places that is just a lot of fun. The atmosphere is unique, and the combination of old school arcade games with a mix of newer games makes it easy to lose a couple of hours here. There is a really good variety, so whether you are into classic arcade nostalgia or something newer, there is plenty to keep you entertained. The food was another pleasant surprise. Everything we tried was really tasty, and considering the affordable pricing overall, it makes for a pretty budget friendly outing. The Fort Worth location is also convenient, which makes it an easy spot to add to a day or evening out. My biggest complaint is that it can get pretty crowded, especially during busier times, which takes away from the experience a little when you are trying to play some of the more popular games. Also, if you are visiting during the Texas summer, be prepared for it to get hot inside. With all the people, games, and activity, the temperature can definitely become noticeable. Overall, though, I would absolutely come back. Great atmosphere, tons of games, good food, and an affordable price point make this a solid Fort Worth outing.

It was a sold out show, but it was cool that they released tickets the day-of, it was really helpful! About the venue's location, there's plenty of parking which is great. It is at the outskirts of Fort Worth, I was assuming it was near the Downtown district. However, it's a quiet area. Make sure to get food before, as there aren't too many immediate places to grab food before the shoe. Regarding the venue, it's small and intimate. It has a dive-bar feel, but it is pretty unique. There's a record shop at the back where you can shop before and during the show. The vibes were really cool, and the venue is pretty unique. I've been to thousands of shows and hundreds of venues across the country, and definitely have no reservations recommending this venue. Perfect size, and the sound quality was solid. I only wish there were more food options in and around the venue.

I have to give love to MASS for hosting the Beto for Texas event on Saturday…read more They were gracious, kind and accomodating. It says a great deal about a business that will host a political event so kindly. In addition to providing the space, they also had beverages for sale, and the gentleman serving was very personable. The place, despite being packed with individuals ready to see positive change in the world, was well air conditioned on this hot Texas day. Parking was acceptable, with a lot beside the venue as well as street parking alongside. For a bar, the restrooms were very clean. The place was well maintained. Pool tables were aplenty. Seating and standing room, A+. I will certainly return to this venue for a non-political event, and I cannot say "thank you" enough for hosting this organizing event. Beto for Texas, 2018!
