Also they have eateries and a few bars to relax at if you're early, but not too much to choose from. The only lounge is a USO outside the check in gate. Parking is adequate and there's enough to go around long stay and short stay. Short stay is $2 and long stay can up to $40. So if your cool with an easy to get in and out of the airport with no frills.

Fly at Your Own Risk - A Miserable, Unsafe Experience with Silver Airways…read more After multiple bad experiences, today's flight with Silver Airways confirmed that this airline is a disaster from start to finish. Once again, the flight was delayed over an hour not even updated at the gates. I only knew because I received an email. But when it finally boarded, passengers were rushed through in a panic--staff actually threatened to close the boarding door while three people were still trying to get through check-in. The urgency made no sense, considering we were then made to stand on the tarmac for 10 minutes waiting to board a plane that clearly wasn't ready. But the worst part came after we boarded. The cabin was sweltering hot, with barely any airflow--no AC, no circulation. The overwhelming stench of jet fuel filled the cabin to the point that it was hard to breathe. This wasn't a one-time fluke either--you could literally see a film of jet fuel residue on the windows, this is a regular occurrence, I experienced it on the flight this morning and on my last three flights with this airline. It felt suffocating, and frankly, dangerous. To top it off, the flight itself was rough and unnerving, with abrupt, extreme turns that did not inspire confidence in the pilot or the aircraft. Nothing about the crew, the condition of the plane, or the experience overall gave me any reassurance that safety was a priority. Unfortunately, they're the only airline currently that flies direct from my home city to the locations I travel frequently for work, this is the only reason I have flown this airline but as of today, it's not worth it. I would rather detour to a major airline hub hundreds of miles away and add hours to my trip, for my safety and well-being. Silver Airways is unreliable, uncomfortable, and borderline unsafe. If you have other options--take them!

The airplane was clean, flights on time, service reliable, and my checked baggage arrived without incident. Folks might be advised that Silver boards from the airport tarmac and passengers need to ascend a narrow staircase to board . Not a problem for me but if you are differently abled I'm not sure. Also, departing from Orlando on a Sunday can be tricky as the TSA lines were LONG so extra time should be allotted. If you have TSA Pre Check that line was quite short and moved quickly. The pilots waited a bit for some passengers who were stuck in that TSA line so technically we were late departing but they seem to have made up the time in the air because we arrived as scheduled. I thought waiting displayed decency on their part. This airline flies at a lower altitude so one can almost always see the ground. All in all I was very satisfied and would fly Silver again.

The owner called United management who told her it was fine, TSA told her it was fine but those 2 in baggage would not check in her bag unless she got rid of the carry on!! She finally pulled her bag and changed airlines. Pensacola United, you need to make this right and get rid of or send Leonie and Ahvana back for some serious retraining

They rebook me for a 6 pm flight..and 3 hours later cancel that flight in an email, nothing about rebooking me or alternatives. Have to call them they book me. 430 tp Dallas arriving at 730 then 830 to Pensacola. I embark at 340 pm then we sit on the runway for 4.5 HOURS. Flight crew times out have to find a new one plus weather ( that's not their fault). Arrive in Dallas at 1119 pm... go to find my bag, which has been sent to the wrong airport in FLA. no clothes. Book and Uber 30$, hotel 220$ and go to bed as I've now been up 24 hours. Wake up next am Hilton, gas has been turned off due to leak on city ( also not their fault) so head to the airport for my 437 pm flight to Pensacola. Get there sent to three different terminals all by train as place is huge. Finally get where I'm supposed to be and flight says to Fort Walton Beach ...... hour away from where I'm supposed to be flying.... Ok, at least I'm going. Get there this ohh s where my luggage was supposed to be mind you they NEVER told me about destination change. Family scrambling to come get me/ go to special luggage NOT there in Pensacola... another 1.5 hour drive. Get to my aunts at 930 pm. 40 HOURS. Call today to see what they can do for me and I missed two days, they can book me in back of the plane Thursday morning with 31 minutes to make my connection...... ohhhh and their policy is gates shut 15 min before take off. So I ask to be upgraded to business class so I can make connection NOPE. Speak to 4 ppl. Third person just transferred me to someone else without telling me who is online booking support! End up buying the business class tickets for what she tells me is a TOTAL of 191$...... ok at least I should make it. Asked at least 3 times so the total for both flights is 191$ right, yes, it is! Just checked my credit card, was NOT 101- more like 300$....i come here twice a year to see my aging aunt and uncle who have had some health concerns and they robbed me of 1.75 days with them..... lie to me. Cancel flights without any alternative AND send me to the wrong airport. I always fly SW and have never had an issue, but was trying to fly out of providence NOT Boston. And boy did I pay a price. Cancelled flight finds me, 24 hours after departing SFO, in front of the Thrifty Rental counter in Pensacola Airport at roughly 7:00 am. Nary a rental car to be found anywhere. I meet Kelvin, a man among men and a car rental genius as far as I'm concerned. Sr Rep for Thrifty, Kelvin finds me a Dodge Caravan, the most deluxe mom van I've ever seen. I was on my way and into the zone where I spent the next 10+ days. I cannot recommend these good people highly enough. They came to my aid in a time of real need and did it with a smile. He waited in the lobby and took the cart back so I didn't have to walk it back (his words). But in that time, he was so kind, conversation was so natural, and you could tell he was a kind soul. Although it took 30 mins to get to the front of the line, it felt like forever and it was so frustrating after travelling 3000 miles. There were two ladies working the counter and I could tell they tried to do their best to accommodate everyone. Because it was also late in the afternoon on a Saturday, our car of choice wasn't available. We were assigned a beautiful muscle car -- a two door, Dodge Challenger which got a lot of compliments during the trip, but hard to handle and hard to manage blind spots. Would have still preferred a Japanese or German vehicle. Nevertheless, it was an "OK" experience but based on that, I'll be going through another company when I'm back to visit my family.

The car seemed to be a base trim but worked great for our family of four. Return was a smooth and quick operation. Would Recommend to any traveling to Pensacola International Airport.
