So I now stick to the routine and buy a quality plant from Agua Fria! Of course, I tell myself to stay focused and just look in the tomato greenhouse. But the nursery is full of temptations down every row and section. I ended up with four varieties of tomatoes, two varieties of cucumbers, leeks, and a mesa red blanket flower. I only stopped because my friend has a small hatchback and the space was limited. Everyone that works there is friendly and helpful. I have found that the plants I buy from Agua Fria are healthy and productive and great value in the long run of our short and unpredictable growing season.

I emailed their new director--who does not seem as on the ball as the old manager--and she promised that she would look into the situation and get back to me within a week to see if the glitch could be resolved. Two weeks later, I had to email her to remind her, at which point the entire camp was filled up, of course. It was like we'd never spoken before. I don't think I have ever seen anyone turn a simple transaction into such a mess so quickly. Whoever this young woman is, she is losing this establishment customers.
