Today was a good day I just had to run in for school stuff that needed to be updated for this up-and-coming school year Normally when I see doctor Dinka it's a long wait babies crying tight confined spaces but today was my lucky day I was only in here a couple of minutes and that's because I really didn't need to see the doctor though I was just in for paperwork and and what nots for school but on the typical day you will wait even if you have an appointment But I do like doctor Dinka I haven't had that many primary care physicians thank God I'm not a sickly person but every concern that you have she will address it she will explain it she will give you several options she normally have several samples of medication that you can try before she can ride she will write a script for you if you need a specialist she promptly write a referral as well read more

Took my child once and got a different doctor that was filling in for our usual doc on vacation. She didn't care at all about my sons symptoms. Only cared to ask about his vaccines (which he was to-date on) Instead of care I got repeated sales pitches for shots he already had. When trying to make appointments for myself the office is always either closed or no one bothers to call back after leaving a message. Go somewhere else. read more

Worst office I have ever been to. I waited over an hour with my 3 year old for a flu shot. There was nobody in the waiting room except for me. After I told the front desk, M.A, and Dr I was there for the flu shot they said they didn't have it available. Plus the girl in front of me had strep and they never cleaned the room and we went in after her. read more

Anytime you call to make an appointment they put you on hold for hours and forget your even on the line. Even with an appointment, you wait for over an hour to be seen. The reception staff are the rudest people I've ever seen in an office. My experience was with an African American receptionist and another impatient rude woman. I came in with numbness all over. I was a regular patient. I didn't have an appt so I was put in a room for an hour and forgotten. I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis. This is a very painful condition. The young Indian doctor told me my pain was in my head since my ultrasound showed nothing. I can't say Dr Dinkha is terrible. She is just totally overbooked. Thank God I moved and am seeing more compassionate doctors now. read more

I have been in the medical field/nursing for over 20 years. Dr. T. Sahajpal is one of the most compassionate, professional, straight forward, knowledgeable, and caring people I have ever encountered. The longest I have ever waited in the office is 20-30 minutes. Pediatrics is high demand and too many parents wait too long to call or do not schedule those state required physicals until the school year begins. I have 4 very active boys, which have kept me busy with office, E.R. and follow up visits. Genetic illness can be very frightening for children and parents alike. She will take the time to explain in details so that a medical professional or lay person will understand. Each and every visit to her office gives me comfort to know that if I have a question or encounter a non-receptive staff member or temporary practioner it will be addressed appropriately and professionally. From my 2nd youngest son, who has had major medical demands..."Mom, what does Dr. Sahajpal think?" her opinion always matters to my son. He trusts her. This comes from a young man that is not uncomfortable making medical professionals aware that they are not comforting or giving him confidence in their treatment of his needs. read more

Girls at the front desk were polite, the PA was nice, and I liked Dr. Dinka. If you could get an appointment it's a good place to go. read more

Tripat K. Sahajpal is one of the rudest, most condescending pediatricians I have ever met. She was dismissive and insulting, for no apparent reason. I would urge her to work on her bedside manner, because there is no reason to be so ridiculously rude to patients who come to her to take care of their own wellbeing. You go to a doctor to take care of your health, not to leave their office in tears because the doctor spoke to you like you were an idiot and walked out of the room before you could even finish your sentence. I am a first-time mother and survivor of severe abuse from the baby's father, all throughout the pregnancy and afterwards. I just relocated from an actual war zone with my baby and am taking care of the baby all by myself while also working a full-time job. I don't get child support, and I don't get any help. I usually enjoy visits to the doctor, because I get to proudly show off my baby's progress. But not this time. I explained to Sahajpal that my baby had a screwed up feeding schedule. She spoke to me as if I were an idiot and implied it was all my fault for not feeding him enough in the mornings. When I started to explain that the baby refuses to eat more than what I give him, she cut me off and started to walk out of the room. When I pressed to discuss the matter more and told her about his very extreme crying fits (that have caused neighbors to actually contemplate calling an ambulance), she implied that I am simply not "comforting" the baby enough to calm him down. She then lectured me on "what motherhood is" and walked away while I was still talking to her. I am beyond insulted -- I am horrified. I spend hours holding my baby and doing everything I can to calm him down when he's upset, and to be told by this woman that I am simply not doing it right - well, to be honest, she just sounds like my abuser. At the end of the day, you don't go to your doctor to be treated like this. If she truly believes everything is all my fault and I am simply not doing "motherhood" right, then there was a more tactful way to say it. I left the office in tears and my baby is now crying as well. I did not flee a sadistic abuser and a war zone to be treated this way by a physician whom i am supposed to trust. read more

I am usually here for appointments once in a while. It's your average place to go for a check-up or an appointment. The lot that is used is not too big or small, but it is just right. The place is a bit small, but just right. The waiting rooms are small. It's probably the size of a kitchen in a house. I'm saying that for the two different waiting rooms. The bathrooms are in the middle right after the doctor's office, so you have to walk down there for about a minute for a restroom. The restrooms are clean though. They are different kinds of things the physicians and doctors do in both parts. The place is BUSY, even when it might be your average Wednesday afternoon. There is a small kids play area with a small TV sitting on the corner of the wall. There is a lot of chairs for the waiting area, and it might help for busy days. The ladies at the front desk have for you to wait for a bit because they are on the phone. That's ridiculous, and that moment reminds me of being interrupted. When you go in, the ladies are very nice, which is my highlight of this place. The only problem is that they take about 20 minutes to get to you. I'm thinking that this place needs more doctors and physicians. Then they do the appointment. The doctors do an excellent job with checking on everything. After the check-up, it is the kid's decision if they want a sticker or a small lollipop because they did good. All in all, very nice doctors that work there. The layout looks okay in my opinion. They just need to go much faster because I'm usually in the doctor's office for about 40-60 minutes. I will be going back to the doctor's office here. read more

The RUDEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER ME! My son was in the hospital. The office failed to tell the dr they had his test results. Took the day off to take him in, there were no recorss and she was incredibly rude. He got sick again with the same thing a month later, took him in. When she finally came to the room she never checked him out and and rudely asked me "are you even paying attention ". I i said of course I am and she treated me like i was a child, ignored my concerns, and with a flick of her wrist brushed me off and walked out of the room. Shes a disgusting woman who has no empathy or concern for her patients. I dont even know her full name because she never once introduced herself. They have had the best doctors for years and they hold a very high standard for all their doctors starting back to Dr. Chande and the office is run perfectly! THE WORST DOCTOR'S OFFICE TO EXIST! 1) I work in a doctor's office. I know how the patient flow, care and attention should BE. 2) I have been a patient for about 5+years and each year gets worse. The doctor's are inconsiderate and the staff is just as worse. The doctor's: they only want to PRESCRIBE medication instead of referring you to someone who can take care of your problems. The doctor's barely listen. NOW THE STAFF *don't wear gloves when drawing blood *the receptionist are always clueless and have TONS of attitude *staff does not communicate anything to you as the patient 3) THE REFERRALS! seen in clinic about 1-1/2wks ago for my foot pain and acid reflux. I just called the office to be transferred -3- times. Finally after holding and transferring for 6 minutes, she tells me I WLL BE CONTACTED. Which I understand. But once again, I work in an office just like them. For it to take over 1week is OUTRAGEOUS. What if I was in chronic pain? 4) The doctors are quick. Isn't a bad thing. Everyone loves being in and out of an office! But they're quick because THEY DO NOT LISTEN TO YOU WHEN YOU ARE IN THE ROOM! DON'T BOTHER ASKING FOR A WORK NOTE! About 2 years ago when I was in school, I asked for a WORK note because of strep throat. I waited --2-- HOURS FOR THE NOTE! 6) WHEN I BEGAN SCHOOL I NEEDED A PHYSICAL COMPLETED- doctor refused to fill the form. I brought the forms back in after my TB test just to wait AN HOUR for it to be signed off by Dr. Dhinka. I am TELLING YALL DO NOT GO HERE! Why do they make appointments if it takes over an hour to be seen. How about dont overbook your patients. How about trying to improve on this. This doctor was recommended by my insurance carrier. I am switching immediately. I went to see the group after my arm went completely numb from the elbow down. Instead of taking an X Ray or sending me for an MRI, I was given some pills, told to purchase a brace, and wait until my insurance company approved a referral. After more than a week, I called the Dr's office. I was reprimanded for not waiting for them to call me. They said they were still waiting on my insurance. I finally called my insurance company, who stated they never were waiting for anything from them, these were all internal issues at the office. read more

My mother and I were both patients for over two years probably more. Convenience of not being far from where we resided was the case. However that backfired. I usually don't write reviews but the service is so awful, I can't continue to keep quiet. The hours are insanely inconvenient and you can barely get in touch with anyone. Not to mention once you have and appointment, They somewhat rush you out. They diagnose you and they're out with the blink of an eye. Not to mention I was misdiagnosed more than once there. On two accounts, with two different doctors something was missed. I don't feel safe and I don't trust that they have anyone best interest at heart. My mother was just referred to a specialist who, diagnosed her with something more life threatening than what the doctor at Soutwest initially told her. The Specialist was actually shocked that for so many years the doctor hadn't caught on to such a thing. I wouldn't recommend anyone to take any chances at visiting this place. Southwest has a lot of improving to do, and they can start by getting new doctors and new hours. read more

I have had the most stressful experience with this office. I had a serious health issues that required me to have tests and consults for which I needed referrals. From the moment I began working with the referrals dept in the office I have never been met with so much resistance and unprofessionalism. My referrals were processed incorrectly the entire way through and even days before my major surgery. When a person is sick this last thing they need is additional stress and anxiety this office has created for me. read more

This will be the first review I ever wrote on yelp. I wish I could give no stars. If I could save one person from dealing with this absolutely horrible company I would feel relieved, I been with southwest for a year now. I always give them the benifit of the doubt, but today they have truly let me know that they care very little about their customers. I'm use to waiting over an hour to even be seen, and today was no exception. When I made my app. for 3:15 I double checked to make sure I could be out by 5:00pm as I also had a dentist App. As well. After sitting in the room till 4:00 I went to ask if I could be seen shortly. Apparently the Dr. Wasn't even in the building yet.. Tripat eventually comes in my room and helps with absolutely no information on how to help my child with her rash, as she could tell I was getting frustrated...so she goes starts walking out of the room gets quiet because she is giving quack information and says life isn't fair. I can't believe that this women received her doctorate.. She is absolutely the most disrespectful, egotistical lady I ever met, I'll never go to her again and pray one day she realizes what it's like to care about another rather then herself... After all that is what choice she should be doing. Please NEVER EVER put yourself into the position of being a patient. Unless you enjoy being treated like an animal, because they have absolutely no dignity. read more

If you value your health, don't go here. I signed up with Yelp specifically to write this review. That should tell you something. My first appt. was in the Evergreen Pk location with a male doctor (name escapes me). He seemed disinterested and was just on the edge of rude. He did a perfunctory exam and a very brief history, and ordered a blood test as I was a new patient. I got the results of the blood test and despite a damning history of diabetes in my famiiy, he did not order a fasting blood sugar test. I phoned the office and the test was redone. Ok, I thought, everyone can make a mistake and maybe he was just having an off day. A bit later, I went to see Dr. Dinka. The front office staff seemed disinterested and rude, but Dr. Dinka was fine. Perfunctory, but fine. She prescribed my BP meds and I went along my merry way. Flash forward to when the last refill of my script was gone and I called the office to ask them to refill the script. They told me I needed to make an appt with the doc as it had been too long a time since my last visit. This was fair as any good doctor will want a patient to come in for a check at least once a year, and it had been way too long. So, I made an appt, and asked them to give me a "bridge" script, 15 pills or so just to get me through til the day of the appt. Staff then refused to issue a "bridge" script. I went a few days without the meds and my blood pressure was sky high. I called the office again, and again they refused to fill the script. I should have gone to a local clinic and got a "bridge" refill, but working 2 jobs and a 65 hour week, I didn't have a lot of free time and was wary of having the time to sit in a clinic, maybe for a few hours, waiting to see a doc. So, I called the office again and politely and calmly explained the situation (Momma always said you get more flies with honey than vinegar). Staff again refused to issue a "bridge" script. By the day of my appt,, but BP was at stroke level. The PA took my pressure, but with an average size cuff, when I need a large adult cuff. This can skew results. I hadn't been to see a doc in over a year, yet Dr. Dinka did NOT DO AN EXAM. No listening to my heart or lungs, no questions about my overall health, nothing. After seeing the BP result noted by the PA, she finally did ask me to get on the table and put a large adult cuff on my arm. She then PRETENDED to take my BP! She gave about 5 pumps of the cuff (it wasn't even half inflated) and said "Oh, your pressure is very high." Maybe docs can tell something with only a near half inflated cuff, but this seems questionable at best. If so, maybe she should have said something along the lines of "I can tell, even without fully taking the pressure, that your pressure is high." She asked if I had been taking my meds and I said no, that I had been off meds for about 10 - 15 days. She asked why I didn't call the office to get a "bridge" refill. I said that I had, twice in fact, but had been refused by the staff. She simply shrugged her shoulders and wrote the script. I decided to change docs and called the office a few weeks later to find out how to order my records. I had only been to the group three times, and only for med refills and a coupla blood tests, so I didn't have many records. I was told that I would need to fax in a request and to wait a few weeks and someone would call me. I would then need to physically come into the office to get the records. A few weeks passed and I called the office who told me that they "were working on it" and to wait for them to call me. A few more weeks passed, and I called again and was put on hold for a bit. A staffer came on the line and said that the records had been sent to my new doctor. I see my new doctor next week and I'll be pleasantly surprised if the records are there. If I have time beforehand, I'll call over there and verify. If not, it will be back to trying to get something out of the disinterested and rude staff. I work in the healthcare field and understand that docs and their staff are stressed to the hilt - with new regs, demanding patients, and higher than ever expectations that only a God could meet. So, I'm understanding and can forgive the fixable or non-essential (like rude office staff and docs who make a mistake ordering a blood test). But I could have very easily had a stroke in this instance. This office is BAD - steer clear! read more

I called 2 weeks in advance to make an appt for both of my kids. They told me 2:15 I repeated this to them they said yes. I printed out the registration papers and went 3 days in advance to get everything situated. Just to show up at 1:50 and the girl tells me oh yeah you already missed your appt it was at 12:00. She talked to me as if it was not a big deal even though i took the day off for this. I recieved no courtesy call and she then said well we wouldn't have been able to see you seeming your insurance was not checking out. My husband had just been promoted so i knew that was the issue. I told her that i already knew that. I have aetna and they would have reimbursed me. She proceeded to tell me how I would have had to pay upfront either way assuming i could not afford this and trying to take make it seem that it was my fault rather than just being apologetic and trying to work with me. It seems this company has too many clients and doesn't care if they lose any business. read more
