If your tanks are outdated, they will re-certify your tanks for a nominal fee, and no tank size too small. I have brought them 5 gallon tanks that still had a gallon of propane inside, and they filled it with no problems. The service is as quick as you would hope for. It's an absolute pleasure to continue to support this local business, and I will continue to refer family and friends here time and again.

They are patient and taking the time to explain in assure you understand the caution and benefits. An extra 48 hours with no propane (no heat, stove, or hot water while struggling with my husband dying in the ICU) because these asshats said they would do it, said it again, then said they never could. Got a real tech from TLC in that afternoon to fix the problem. Funnier still, weeks later, I get a call from one of their techs wondering if I still need help relighting my pilots. I told him what happened and he was horrified and said he was calling in to try to get me a discount on my last $1000 load. Never heard a thing since. SHOCKING!!! Recently thought our kitchen stove was leaking propane, and called them to see if they could help - they sent a great guy out next day who was finished for the day but came by to look at our leak anyway. He looked hard and didn't see a problem (it was fine the next day), told me there was no charge, then adjusted all my burners. Great experience and highly recommend!

They mis-invoice, and it can't be fixed. They promise remediation that never happens. They make service appointments that they don't show up for (and then often bill you for). Do not consider this as your propane company anywhere in the USA, much less in NM. There are many other, better, options. And my heart goes out to the customer service reps in the Philippines -- I assume they are paid lousy, and they are given absolutely no power or knowledge about how to actually fix problems. It's hard to not get enraged at them because they are the only people AmeriGas make it possible to talk to. Someone, like the AG, needs to sue this company. They provide a fundamental service that makes it a public-interest utility -- people have to have heat. AmeriGas corporate officers -- re-set your organization and your ethics.
