The neighbors were all great, the walls kept the noise out (one neighbor had a dog and we couldn't hear it bark, and our neighbors never heard our late-night movies), and if we hadn't gotten jobs out of state we never would have left. To begin with, our apartment was clean and everything was fully operational when we moved in. It was genuinely, "Move-in Ready", and we didn't have to spend hours tidying up in order to make our new home livable. This is a very big deal to me as I have sadly had the opposite experience in the past. Throughout the course of our lease, we had a couple of things break or stop functioning properly and on every single one of these instances repairs were made within 24 hours. In fact, there were even a couple of times where repairs were completed within hours. Anybody who has ever had a poor landlord/landlady knows how impressive this is. I can say from personal experience that I've had to deal with broken and dangerous conditions for nearly the full duration of my lease in a couple of rentals I've lived in over the years and Joe's responsiveness is second-to-none. Finally, and most importantly to me, Joe is a genuinely good person. Though I'm sure he would never mention it himself, Joe truly knows and cares about his tenants. I learned a great deal about Joe's character during the sad occasion when one of my neighbors passed away unexpectedly. Joe displayed a level of kindness that is very rare these days and he was extremely supportive of my neighbor's mother during her time of grief. Words cannot adequately express the depth of respect and compassion Joe showed during the process of honoring the life of my neighbor and I can honestly say that I feel deeply blessed to know Joe. We were planning to rent from Joe indefinitely because of our wonderful experience leasing from him, but we had the good fortune to qualify for a home purchase so alas, we do not live in one of Joe's properties any longer. If you are searching for a well maintained home with a truly extraordinary landlord, I highly recommend Joe Azar at Metro Commercial Reality, Inc. You will be very happy you gave Joe a call. Eric & Deanna showed us many ... helped us decide ... and helped us get the houses competently evaluated. The inspector she helped us find saved us tens of thousands in repairs we would otherwise have not discovered until after we moved in. When the owner of the first house we selected was unreasonable about repair, we left escrow. When the next house we selected was discovered to have significant problems the Dopslafs helped us negotiate the price to cover the additional costs. They are also familiar enough with construction to raise red flags very early on, even prior to inspection ... we passed on a couple of houses that had serious deficits the Dopslafs noticed and we didn't. I have lived in many apartments though out Albuquerque, NYC and Portland and this is the only one…read morethat felt like a true home. It is the only one I lived the longest in. I lived there for 5 years and the only reason I left is I had to take care of a sick parent. The grounds are beautiful with so many trees, green grass and beautiful flowers! Don't forget the amazing pool! Several apartments even have their own backyard. No apartment is alike and I had one of the largest apartments! They all have their own unique attributes which make you feel like you live in a house vs an apartment. I had huge walk in closets, fire place, jet tub as well as my own washer/dryer laundry room. The size of the apartment was larger than my first house I bought! The staff was always helpful and available when needed no matter the day or time, including holidays. So when something broke and as you know things never like to break when it was convenient the owners were there to address and fix it immediately! I have owned several homes and I still miss this apartment and all it has to offer!!!

I have been waiting to post this review since the time I moved in and out of my apartment and I have officially moved out so it's not a paid post or for any type of "reward" that some apt complexes give to write a review. It's just a honest review from a young, first apartment, grad student that just needed to tell you folks the real deal about this place. When I first was looking for my new home to live in for the next four years I literally stumbled upon this place around midnight one night and on an outrageous page number on apartments.com because I couldn't find the right apartment after searching for months. But when I say I thank God everyday that I found this place I MEAN IT. This was my very FIRST apartment and I stayed in it for FOUR YEARS!!! It's not everyday that you fall in love with an apartment and don't move out every year! This is the best apartment complex in Albuquerque. Granted it's not the newest, or most luxurious, but it's homey and for a 21 year old to move out for the first time, in a new city with no family, and live here ALONE without a roommate for 4 years?? I think that tells you SOMETHING. These apartments are spacious, they have lots of storage, mine had a washer and dryer in unit, they're super clean, and unlike other complexes there's no rodent or roach problem! Each apartment also comes with its own water heater so your showers are always as hot as you need even in the winter! In terms of security, no it's not gated. But in the four years I lived here only ONE car was broken into and stolen but it was eventually found and returned to the owner. That's because even though it's open, the apartment complex is in a very secluded area to where it's not in the eye for robberies or criminal-like problems. Occasionally there's homeless people ( just like all of Albuquerque) but the staff is always on their A-game and keeps them off the property and keeps the place safe. There is cameras around the property and all the properties on the ground level have fencing or gates around them, the only part that's open is parking. My first year living alone was very scary but the staff always took care of me and looked out for me. As a young female that meant so much and I always felt protected. Let's talk about the staff some more. The apartment manager Veronica is on top of her game, is one of the sweetest women on this planet, and actually gives a damn about her job! And the owner Tanya? GOD BLESS THAT WOMAN! She's always smiling, picks up the phone at anytime when you call her, and there's nothing she can't do or won't do for her tenants. I'm not kidding, do you know how hard it is to find management and staff at a apartment complex that (forgive my language) gives two shits about who you are, let alone you actually even SEE THEM?! Half the comments on other apartment complexes you read all complain about management! This isn't a chain apartment complex that just cares about money! The staff at cloverleaf actually CARES about you and they build connections, friendships and a strong sense of familiarity with all the tenants. There has been times where I've sat in Veronica's office for hours talking or been on the phone with Tanya just catching up on life. They even bought me balloons, decorated my door and gave me a congratulatory card for my graduation because they saw my journey the last four years I lived here for school! They supported me just like my own family has every step of the way. I know reading this you might think I'm literally bullshitting you. And that's fine!! All I'm saying is if you're looking for a place to stay, JUST GIVE THEM A CHANCE! Call them for a tour or stop by and see for yourself! You might hate it and that's fine, or you might fall in love with it so much that unlike other people who switch apartments every year, instead of having a headache packing up another UHAUL, you'll think, "good thing I listened to that girl and chose cloverleaf apartments" becuase all you'll be doing at the end of your lease... is begging to resign it! To the staff, thank you for everything. My family and I are so grateful and I will always cherish my first apartment. XXX
