This is a sketchy company at best. They installed gutters on our home, which was overpriced…read more Their warrantee is fake, doesn't cover really anything. Gutters are aluminum and last many years. Their workmanship is also questionable also. Two men arrived one spoke broken English the other didn't understand. Our dogs let us know when they came, no knock, no warning, just started tearing off our old gutter. I found litter from the install. My wife and I are a couple months shy of 80 and both on disability. I am a disabled veteran, and we had to spend our saving to pay for this product. We are planning for our afterlife expenses to save our children from having to plan it. All I wanted them to do was repair one area of gutter on our shop. The salesperson, Jonathan, came by to inspect and let us know about the repair. He strongly suggested that we replace all of our gutters. I have told myself many years ago that when I got older, don't fall into a scam. He quoted us a number of estimates and pushed for closure. I fell for the trap. We were quoted $5200 for 179 linear feet of 5" gutter with 6 downspouts. Then I contacted the company and they forwarded me to a Mr. Youngblood in Florida. I told him that I was unhappy with the overall experience with them. His response they were an Owens Corning platinum Preferred Contractor earned by .03 percent of contractors nationwide. Whoop ti do. That their pricing reflects the premium materials and expert service that comes with this certification. He also stated that the lower price may feel like the better choice in the moment, and not always the best long-term value. This is our forever home; we take pride in keeping it up. Don't need his rhetoric and continued sales pitch. They do not provide hard copies of each transaction, they are paperless. No more communication just kicked me to the curb. This company is a company of lies, cheating and stealing from the start and to the finish. No character, no remorse, all they want is your money, no matter how they get it. They scammed my wife and me. I would not ever, ever recommend this company for any repairs or installs. I highly recommend that anyone wanting work done, us local credible installers. Also, their warrantees are useless, boring dribble. Aluminum lasts a long time, workmanship you get what they provide and service, BAH, is covered up with deceit. All I wanted them to do is help with a refund from the extreme cost they put on us. DO NOT USE Home Genius Exteriors they really don't care about you; they care about their line of cut succession. SHAME ON THEM.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Solicits, says they're there on behalf of Duke Energy, tells…read moreconsumers that they also do HVAC work and the horrors they've seen in crawlspaces. Oh, and if you schedule an appointment today they'll knock off 50%. (So if I decide tomorrow you'll literally charge me twice as much? Really!?) Whole thing is suspicious. Not professional and definitely pushy. Anyone trying that hard to get your business is desperate. Really good home services companies are so busy they don't need to solicit and use high-pressure tactics. Pick anyone except Home Genius Exteriors Greenville!

Advantage Inspection Upstate - And another up close pic I had to install insulation and completely seal off

I wanna share the worst experience I've ever had with an inspection/inspector in my life (and I've…read moredone several inspections before). I made the mistake of trying for first time Advantage thinking it would be good, well Adrian showed up to inspect a home I wanted to buy, the same day I had a roofer coming to give a quote for the roof, so Adrian decided to assume I was waiving his side of the inspection to replace it with the roofer which was not doing an inspection, only a quote, and also like I paid Adrian for HALF and inspection and not for the WHOLE HOUSE!... at no point he bothered in asking if I was okay with his assumption of him not inspecting the roof, a roof that clearly needs to be replaced. At this point after the report is done with no notations on the roof of course, I have zero grounds to negotiate with the seller. After this, I try to get in touch with him, he completely ignored ALL my calls and messages just to call me 3 days later to tell me he didn't inspect the roof. But they were very happy to charge me for the whole inspection! I wonder how many more things were inspected under this level of quality and professionalism or not inspected at all. You could be costing me a whole new roof that I could have negotiated with the seller IF ONLY YOU WOULD HAVE DONE THE WORK I HIRED AND PAID YOU TO PERFORM! I guess if I would've had there an electrician and a plumber to give me quotes too he would've not inspected any of that either! UNPROFESSIONAL is a very gentle word to call them, worst service I've ever had from a business of this kind. I would give you a zero star if I could.

My Message to the Owner:…read more Your question: To better understand the situation, could you please provide details on when and how this leak was discovered, as well as how the roofer determined the date of the leak? My Response: Leaks were noted during heavy rains and a roofer came out and said that someone "band-aid" the issue with black tar - they did not fix the issue. Noted in the Drone pictures taken by our roofer with you guys had none of the chimney. It's has been happening for quite some time as State Farm looked at the imagines as well and sad it was preexisting. The 2/6's are completely rotted. Our Inspection report: - No mention of leaks around the chimney were noted - the only leak was over the guest bathroom and that was one item we asked to get repaired. - Please send the drone images you have as they are not on our report that I can find. - What I most concerned about is how this was missed at the inspection "again on our report there is not mention of leaks around the chimney" Below are the only denoted items on the roof: Again, nothing mentions anything about the rotting wood.... We have Substantial cost in repairs with zero assistance or empathy from this company. I made sure that my realtor will not recommend them in the future as well. We have also let our community aware of their negligence. This is the worst experience and has caused financial burdens and our disgust with how the company responded to their failure in expertise as a Home Inspector Agency. Everyone makes mistakes but we should always take responsibility when you are at fault.
