Although shelling was a disappointment the abundance of wildlife and native plants more than made up for it. Moved into the main area and honestly, with all the big rigs that pulled in, it can get very cramped for "privacy". Add to that some dogs and it can get very interesting. As usual at an RV site, some people have ZERO clue about site etiquette. Several folks walking their dogs around my site. My dogs did not appreciate that. But that's the only complaint I had - a bit cramped when all sites around you are full, and people are the same no matter where we camp. The people running this site are the best!! Tom helps you park and it makes it SO easy to back into the spot. First try, boom, all set!! The beach is only a few blocks away, totally walkable. That said, they also provide a ride to and from the beach on the golf cart. Very helpful when you're lugging all your beach stuff. Expensive to stay, but it was a great vacation. I'd stay here again.

Not as convenient as having a house right on 30A/ across from the beach but for the price you can't complain. It is always going to be 5 star review for the Resort but this time if this review was for the Ranger I would give a ONE star because he has decided to not buy dog poop bags and some people just don't clean up after their dogs if you don't provide the basics because they are not prepared and I don't blame them because you expect to find bags like in ANY other Florida State Park to find poop bags all over. Now instead there is dog sh!t in some places that the Ranger should go and pick it up himself just because he is trying to save money to finish construction of his new office and moving resources from one budget item to another is not the solution, please poop bags are a must Mr Ranger, adhere to your budget and buy some bags so whoever is unprepared can clean up after their dog.

The pool was heated and refreshing after a day at the beach. Our pull-thru site was perfect. Lots of trees and shade. Loved that Publix was appx 5mi away, easy to do my shopping upon arrival. Fishing is brackish water but had a cleaning station. You can brong your boat and golf cart (check with office on rates and rules). All the staff was super nice and helpful. We did have a long-term rv next to us but they were quiet like everyone else. We will definitely visit again!

From the management to the tenants, everyone is friendly and welcoming. The facilities are great too, with clean showers and a convenient laundry room. We stumbled upon this place by accident, and it was such a Godsend. It's close to all the beaches and attractions, yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The rates are very reasonable as well. The Village is a beautiful, gated living oasis with beach houses and condos, and it is extremely well done.
