I was extremely uncomfortable with a stiff neck. I also have a titanium cage in my neck so I went to Spa 111 and booked with Coco. She was such a great touch! The massage therapist are not well trained or they do not understand English. I came With a stitch in my side. She didn't understand or didn't know how to help. She seemed to be following a set process. Was supposed to be a 60 minute massage. She started a few minutes and finished a few minutes early and took a break in the middle. 50 minute massage with a break in the middle. Price was $70. I paid with a $100 bill and she pointed to the door. Her service was not worth a 40% tip. I had to ask for $10 change, which left an unearned 28% tip. Took a long time for the change. The place looks sketchy however the signs expressly banned sexual contact and the place was clean. My only issue was the therapist that was untrained or couldn't understand me. The massages were top sports massage! The ladies did very well with a couples massage. The pressure they used on hubby was fantastic- I'm a bit more sensitive and asked to lighten the pressure. Overall good massage- though if you are looking for a spa-like setting with aromatherapy and an environment to hang out - this is not your place. I called ahead and requested to be in a room with my sister, they agreed. The only positive part about this whole experience is they wrote down my name and the time we were arriving. After that...all down hill. When my sister and I showed up we were greeted with a very pungent smell of fish. It was almost unbearable. We should've left then. Instead we regrettably stayed. We did not get to be in the same rooms, which was unfortunate. My sister's masseuse took EIGHT calls during the 60 minute massage. During my massage someone OPENED THE DOOR and asked "where is the restroom?" Could you imagine? The masseuses gave the most hard and aggressive massages we've ever had. We're both SO sore. Sketchy at best. My husband went in for a neck massage. Although the massage was adequate, the masseuse leapt on him and ground her crotch into his back. Ok, that was weird. When he went to leave, he was told he needed to give the tip in cash. He pulled out $10 for a $55 half hour massage. The front desk staff member told him it was not enough for the massage, and took the $20 bill that was sticking out of his wallet. Yes, he should've grabbed it, but he was so shocked by her actions and the whole experience. He walked out feeling strong armed for a 40% tip! Definitely stay away! I will definitely be coming back here when I'm in the desert. The massage was so amazing I'm will to drive out here for a day trip to get a massage. I've been to many reflexology massage places however this is the first time I actually felt the pinpoints when getting massaged. I felt so relaxed after! Wellll our (me and 3 girlfriends) first visit while having a girls weekend away. As always, I looked to Yelp for a massage place and zeroed in on 4*+ places. Found this one and the reviews were good enough for me as well as the price ($60 + $10 minimum tip) for an hour massage. I called 2-3 weeks in advance and asked Amy, the manager, if she could accommodate us with four women masseuses since we all did not want men. Amy said "no problem". Our appts were for 11am on a Tuesday. We arrived and the inside was nice looking and clean from my vantage point. They put me and my girlfriend in a couples room and my other two friends had private rooms. I had Panda which gave me a pretty good massage with hot stones which are not extra money and a really nice scalp massage. Her pressure could be hard, but she toned it down when I told her to. The massage was skin-to-skin contact versus massaging over a sheet. However the gal, which we were told her name was Sunny, wasn't as good at giving my friend her massage. My friend said she felt she was having a rub down with oil and not a massage. After ten minutes of an awful massage my friend told me she didn't like her massage. We tried to tell either of our masseuses but they didn't understand us. I finally had to be blunt and say "she doesn't like her massage". Immediately the manager came rushing into the room, knelt down next to my friend and said "you want a male masseuse, I give you a male masseuse". Of course my friend said "no" and then Amy the manager took over and gave my friend an excellent massage. Another issue was our two gals kept talking throughout our session (before Amy came to the rescue) and we finally had to ask them to stop so we could relax and enjoy our massages/and an oil rub down, lol. Unfortunately their understanding seemed very limited so we weren't sure how much they understood from our disappointments. Another unfortunate thing is they don't keep the room doors closed as I found out. Since I was somewhat exposed, I asked to have the door closed and all they did was shut it a little more not completely closing it. My poor friend to her surprise had a male when she only wanted a female. Come to find out, the 4th female masseuse had a day off. Sure would have been nice to have been called and notified of this since I had specifically asked for females when booking our appts. He didn't give her the hot stones and perhaps because he wore a mask his breathing was heavy which was not very relaxing for my friend. Our 4th friend said she loved her massage. And lastly, when paying by card or Apple pay, Amy was going to charge us a $2 service charge. I told her "you didn't tell me that when I made our appt or else we would have all paid cash" she graciously told us next time she'd charge us the fee. They offer $5 off for a good review. I didn't accept. Here's an unpaid review. The outside is sketchy. The inside isn't terrible, but not good either. My massage was pretty bad. Rubbed the same spot repeatedly and rubbed bony parts of the body (ouch). Often not using oil and just rug-burning me. Masseuse breathed loudly and had onion breath. Once I was paying she said there was a $2 fee. I think she made that up on the spot because she didn't like the amount I tipped, which was probably more than they should've gotten all things considered. AVOID. read more

It seems that ownership of this massage spa may have changed place a few times over the years but the quality rains the same.y husband and I have been going there periodically for 7 years. On my most recent trip I had an awesome 90-min massage from a tiny young woman. You'd never know such strength was packed into such a small frame. She worked on the most painful part of my lower back, releasing some tension there. When I got home I told my hubby that I might have had the same tiny woman he described a week earlier. Because he asked for it, she got on the table and walked on him. He loves deep tissue and the back walking. Like another spa I recently visited, the employees are not fluent in English. I think they are Chinese but know enough to get by. My masseuse and I had one point where we couldn't understand each other and chuckled. She was very polite. I decided to get a message and was referred by my sons friends mother to ask for Anna at Spa 111 Massage. My rating is for Anna because she was professional and gave a good message. She's pretty strong to so you may have to ask her for less pressure. But I knew for my back to feel better I was gonna have to let her don her thing. 90 minutes for $90, great deal! I recommend to bring cash and to tip at least $25+. I tipped her $40 because my back felt so much better. As for the ambiance, it definitely needs a remodel to make it look less of a sketchy place. I was blown away by Spa 111. It was truly one of the best massages I've ever had. I would highly recommend for a deep tissue massage. They use their whole bodies by walking on your back or using their elbows and knees to deep massage sore muscles and work out knots. They paid close attention when they felt an area of my body that was tense and customized their massage in order to loosen the area. To get here you do need to go to the side street parallel to the Highway 111. I honestly like that atmosphere and pricing of Spa 111, but my massage therapist had thin bony fingers; she used mostly the pads of her fingertips to avoid the feeling about being massaged by a skeleton. Also, I think I was sore from the boogie boarding from last weekend. That was my bad. After the pain though, my body felt really relaxed and this was her primary goal. As a tip though, DO ask for a more lighter relaxing Swedish massage type rather than deep tissue hard when wanting to achieve relaxation. If you're an athlete who does want deep tissue and are prepared to handle it, this is awesome! read more
