My husband and I had just grabbed lunch at the mall, so decided to see if Spa 505 could take us for a quick chair massage. Luckily when we walked in there was no wait and they were able to get us seated right away. We just did 15 minute chair massages, but they were perfect and exactly what we were looking for. I walked in and asked for 30 minutes on my back and shoulders, 15 minutes on my feet. I got 15 minutes tops on my back and nothing on my shoulders, 5 minutes on my feet. I timed it because this has happened to me before. They assumed i would still pay full price, but i paid for what i got. The guy still had the audacity to ask me for a tip. Very bad customer service. I had came here before and never had a problem with them until today. They talk way to much, felt rush and did a bad message overall. This would be the last time I come back here. I try to give them the benefit of doubt by getting a foot message and they were talking way too much. DO NOT SUPPORT this business. The treatment that my family experienced was racist, horrendous and insulting. I am a lawyer with stressful caseload. In order to relieve my stress, my mother reserved a surprise appointment for me, my father, and younger sister. My mother had paid in advance for the entire package (at least $300). After the appointments, all of the employees formed a human barricade, surrounded my family, and demanded that we pay a tip. While we had no problem paying the tip and intended to do so, the racist assumption that we would leave without paying a tip and the unnecessary creation of tension after we had already paid for services was shameful. Additionally, the belief that they were automatically entitled to a tip after substantial payments had already been made was misguided. I will NEVER support this business in the future and I would encourage potential customers to avoid this business at all costs. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I had a 1 hour deep tissue massage with them yesterday. First- they don't have private rooms. The beds are separated with curtains like you're in a hospital. Next- the cushion where you put your face was this old green fabric pillow which was obviously used by everyone and so unsanitary. The guy who gave me my massage was unfriendly and kept digging his elbow into my spine rather than the muscle. He just kept throwing my arms around instead of gently moving them like they are supposed to do. He directly squirted ice cold massage oil straight onto my back. At the end he just roughly used a wash cloth to wipe the oil off my back. I've had many many massages in my life. This was by far the worst! You get what you pay for! But if you want a cheaper massage go to massage envy instead, trust me. read more

The massage was great! Definitely a hidden gem in the mall. (3rd floor by that candy shop.. If you are looking)... I initially went in thinking I'd be seated in one of those massage chairs... But the guy was like, "Do you want to do the table with the hot stones?" Same price! He probably spent about 35 mins on me and they charged me $30. You really can't beat that price! The only awkward thing was its curtains instead of private rooms and the malls a little noisy. But, for the price... I think I can get past a little chatter. My son skates at the Palisades, so I was curious to try this spa at the mall, seeing as we sat across from it for so long while waiting for the rink time to start. I tried the $10 12-minute chair massage and was hooked. So far I have done a 22 and 33 minute massage each, and both were terrific AND a great deal. My only very small issue is that it can get a bit noisy, which is understandable considering it has a huge opening into the actual mall. Request one of the spaces in the very back and it definitely helps. I'll be back again! :) read more

The place was very clean and the staff was very kind. Originally started as a 30 minute massage but upgraded it to an hour. It was very relaxing and they helped fix the knot in my neck. I would recommend to anyone interested and do plan on returning every once in awhile. read more

Jason was my massage person. He was great. He listened to my needs. He pushed where he could push and was gentle to my lower right back where I have degenerative discs. I went for the 90 minute massage which included hot stones. I will be sure to return the next time I'm at the Palisades mall. read more

This place is great! I've been here twice, and both times the tension in my body was relieved. The environment is amazingly relaxing and friendly. Both times I went for a massage, the massage therapists were careful not to press too hard, but at the same time they didn't make it so I didn't feel anything. At the door, there's a beautiful fish tank, and nothing about my experience was unpleasant. I also love how the room is on the darker side, so it makes the experience soothing. On the TV screen, they play silent videos of beautiful views, and relaxing white noise. The staff are very sanitary as well. Each time it was someone else's turn, they would take disinfectant and they would wipe down the equipment with it. I personally had a phenomenal time, and my friends enjoyed it to. After your massage, you get to relax on a comfy couch while the staff bring refreshments. My experience at Spa 505 was great! read more
