If I could I'd give Nicole 6 stars!! I've had four different treatments - the express facial, brow tint, brow lamination, and the custom facial. I did the express facial on my first visit to see what the service was like, and I was ecstatic to find that not only did Nicole customize the treatment based on my skin's tone & texture, she addressed all of my skin issues in ONE visit. Again, not a miracle drug - but for an express facial, with extractions, the 30-min service alone was enough to have me come back as a repeat customer. The initial visit is also wonderful because Nicole ensures you go into the service feeling prepared - I felt I left with more skin knowledge then I had coming in. And I've seen huge results! I also got the brow lamination and brow tinting. I've had the lamination for 3 weeks now and I've gotten so many compliments on the shape of my brow (how uniform and thick they are.) The custom facial was even better - she tailored it to my needs that day. Removed the rest of my milia and focused on the acne and fine lines. In a nutshell - my skin is glowing. With the extractions and removal of milia, my skin looks like it has a bit of a filter on it. My skin feels super clean, hydrated, not tight. Best part is that with the products and methods she used, my rosacea hasn't flared up! Nicole is refreshingly open and collaborative. She cares about your results. She also cares about you as a customer. If you're feeling anxious, she'll ease your fears. I also appreciate that Nicole's prices are fair when compared to other estheticians in the area. Currently here with my 13 years old son, Nicole is doing an amazing job on his acne but not just that she is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, talking to him a lot to keep him busy and asking a lot of questions. Honestly I've recently been there , I was kind of nervous to go because I don't play when it comes to me skin . I got a three deal facial 60 mins , massage same & foot scrub . Consumer service was great the girl who took care of me had an amazing personality loved her . My issue was that when I got home oh my gosh couldn't stop itching my leg at all rashes and cuts from the scrub on top of that I only went to get a facial because of small blabla heads around my nose . She used her instruments to remove them . Now I have big scar marks all over my nose that I can't even cover well with makeup . I'm highly upset ! I won't be going there again ! The fact that I had good skin but my only issue was small nose black head around my nose during winter time and now my issue is worse then before . Days after feeling Unhappy after I brought these issues up . I was contacted by the manager there who was concerned about me & wanted to help get to the bottom of this and try to possibly resolve the issues . Which was very nice and impressive shows how big they are about consumer satisfaction & loyalty. This was the best facial I have ever had in my life. First of all, Nicole has the most incredible bedside manner I have ever encountered. I felt like we were best friends by the end of my facial. She really cares. It's genuine and sweet and refreshing to experience. She went over each and every skin issue I have giving me advice on how to fix it. She really took her time with me to make sure I had the most incredible experience. I needed and asked for some serious extractions, but I also had a wedding to go to on Saturday, so she didn't want my face to be red at all, so she customized the most fabulous facial that took care of every single pimple on my face, but also combatted the redness. My review concerns not the quality of service, but the pricing. I called to make an appointment for threading of my brows. I was told on the phone it would cost $20. OK, I was prepared to pay more if the services were skilled, as everyone knows most places charge $10 or less. for brows. They did a good job. However, when I went to check out, I was charged $40, an Exorbitant amount for eyebrows! After talking to others, I decided to write the salon about the fact that I was charged twice what I was told. The responses were again not transparent: a credit towards a facial which they told me about, only now the facial at that price is no longer offered or available to me. While the services were good, I would caution anyone to insure what price they will be charged as there is no transparency. read more

I went here for the groupon price so I probably sound like a choosing beggar, but this version of a microderm facial with LED light that I got was not very effective evidently. It works a lot better with steam and extraction. All the other microderm facials I've had included that. LED really isn't effective just one time but I wanted to try, this part I knew. I wish I went elsewhere and it was money wasted despite the discount. Upon arrival I was lost, and no one was replying to texts or phone calls sadly but eventually I found it. There was no receptionist present since I was the last appointment on a holiday weekend. Nicole made me rather uncomfortable by strongly suggesting I must have digestive issues (even asking me about my bowel movements lol can you believe) or hormonal imbalances when I distinctly said I was on a medication that made me break out and my skin was still adjusting to being off of it. The hint was not taken at any point by Nicole. She said I had acne just like another client of hers with digestive issues, well cool but that client probably isn't on the same cocktail of medications as me, etc. Read the paperwork if you're so inclined to talk about my health with me like you're my doctor. I didn't ask. The regular prices for the services are super jacked up, could only hope it's worth it for others or that the other services are somehow better. read more

Nice place, with nice workers. But $35 for a brow tint that takes about 5-10 minutes to do!? Rather expensive. I actually just dye them on my own now, so simple and so cheap. I use the Godefroy Eyebrow tint kit - $18 for 20 applications - so worth it. read more

Money Wasted!!! Went there for laser removal of both arms, legs and face. I had six sessions on all these areas, first of all the last session was a nightmare for me to get as the doctor who owned the equipment moved and they were not scheduling anyone at the Rockland SkinCare location. I had to get really upset with them in order to get my last session like almost 2 months after the date I was supposed to receive it, not sure if this had to do anything with the poor results of my laser treatment. My last session was in October 2017, now in March 2018, only 5 months after, all the hair is back and my facial hair came back even more than what I have ever had, how could that be possible? I spent over $1k for all my hair to come back again and even more than what I walked in there with. I called them last week to explain this situation and get feedback as to why this happened only 5 months after i was done with the treatment, I am yet to receive a call back from this place. I don't know how their other services are but certainly will not recommend their laser service. I am not sure if the proper machine or profile level number was used for my type of hair and skin color. Also their lack of response in getting back, especially after receiving a complaint, just proves their lack of customer service. So disappointed.If I could give a zero will do, but unfortunately reviews starts with at least 1 star. I have seen other reviews for this place and all the negative ones have to do with laser services. I am not one who leaves reviews, do not have the time for this, actually this is my first review ever, but I am feeling so frustrated and upset at the same time that I wasted money I saved for this plus time and commute to this place, which is not around the corner for me, technically to be in a worse position than what I was before with my hair. I had to waxed my face last week for the first time because my husband said I have such a pretty face to look like a man, I feel so depressed over this cause wax gives me irritates my skin so I don't know what I am going to do with all this facial hair I didn't have before.
