So I didn't venture into the pool, but enjoyed the hot tub until it got crowded and the infrared sauna. Yesterday, I was lucky enough to join fellow teachers of Napa County in an Earth Day Spa Day held by the friendliest staff at the Spa at Bardessono. Napa County has been hosting wellness events like these for teachers after having such a burnout due to the Pandemic. For many of the events, I understand that Napa County Office of Education pays the hosting company to hold the events, but Bardessono said - no way, and went above and beyond to make our experience special and unique. So, to share about the event they put on for us - yesterday, a group of teachers all around Napa County were invited to join together to share endless bubbles, charcuterie, access to a nearly full bar, and creating our very own scrubs. Bardessono created a special experience for us that was supposed to be shared out in their garden, but due to weather, moved it inside their ballroom. As we walked into the ballroom, we were greeted with a warm welcome and found bags on our chairs with each of our items to create the scrubs. Their was a bar set up and a table with a tasty charcuterie platter. We were all able to mix and mingle before hearing the history of the Bardessono Spa and how green it is from the materials used in building the structure to the ingredients used in making the scrubs we made. We had so much fun adding and mixing fresh ingredients and coming up with our own version of scrubs. The staff went completely out of their way to give us an experience where we could let loose a little, relax, and take something home with us to be able to continue the pampering. Aside from the event, I walked through the space a bit and noticed their bar area which looked just as incredible, and I have to say, their bathrooms were the most amazing bathrooms I've ever walked into. Each bathroom had its own individual sink in it with soap and lotion, reusable cloth towels to dry your hands with, and a bidet with multiple settings. The seat cover lifted up for you automatically as you walked in and they are heated to make you never want to leave. I just wonder what the rest of the place is like. I will 100% be back to enjoy more of their amenities in the future and thank Bardessono for the kindness, generosity, and thought that went into planning this event for us. read more

My first postpartum massage happened here and my therapist was pretty good! It was relaxing with deep enough pressure and I fell asleep half way into the massage. I didn't get to check out the other parts of the spa except my treatment room. read more

One word "outstanding"! This place will get you all gitty up of being in the future like modern architecture. I love the interior and exterior. Our room was literally a 650-700 sqft big! I love how roomy and spacious the rooms are. It's my 2nd time here both times was spent during Valentines Day! My bf just knows how to pick one of the top and best hotels for us. I love that in the bathroom there's 2 showers and a big tub. Also a hers and his sink. I can live here without feeling so crowded. It's so hard to pinpoint which one is my favorite hotel anymore. We stayed so much plus Napa is our 2nd home. Lastly, Lucy Restaurant is so good they had a set menu for Valentines Day 2 years ago we went and a year ago we were at Copia for dinner. I can't remember what we had I wish I had pictures both times but didn't get a chance to take pics. Wait actually we did take pics! Will have to unload it. Ordering breakfast to your room is a must! I remember getting their croissant breakfast sandwich and their turkey sausage with their potatoes. It's so so so good! Definitely come back again!!! Feedback: Room: was really cleaned Staff: super friendly and helpful The bed: it was medium firm which we like that way. The entire hotel was just beautiful. There's one thing we didn't get a chance doing was checkout the roof top pool. It was cold and rainy both times we went. Service overall, was above and beyond. Came here to get some relief from aches and a terrible headache. 60 minutes later I felt like I could go to my room and take a much needed nap. Absolutely excellent experience! Highly recommend! My mother and I had the best experience at this spa. At first I was unsure because there is a relatively small number of reviews compared to other spas. The hotel is gorgeous, and while the spa is small, it is quality. There is one tiny dry sauna and shower, as well as the rooftop hotel pool and hot tub that are available to spa customers. There is a cocktail bar and cabanas at the rooftop pool with beautiful views of the mountains. As far as the spa facilities, everything was clean and looked new. My mom had the best massage she has ever had, and the massage I received was fantastic. The receptionists and staff were kind and accommodating. We each had 60 minute Bardessono massages. Overall, If you are looking for a fantastic massage at a clean, high end hotel I would highly recommend this. Keep in mind that size does not equal quality, expect the spa to be small-- if you are looking more for a large scale spa with a large amount of facilities this is not necessarily that place. If you're looking for a deep tissue, firm massage this is not the place for you. Just had a 90 min treatment and couldn't wait for it to be over. It felt like I was getting softly rubbed the bulk of the time and left feeling more tense than when I arrived. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my wife and I had a couples massage and she didn't mind her massage as much (though she still wasn't blown away either). read more

O.M.G. Best massage I've had in YEARS. My bf and I stayed at Bardessono for my bday this past weekend and he treated us to a couples massage. My masseuse was named Sandra and his was something that rhymed with Sandra - Ronda maybe? Either way - he and I both concurred that we never felt so relaxed or so pampered. Seriously expert technique, complete understanding of what we were looking for (me = relaxation and him = muscle work). I compare the massage that I had at Bardessono on Friday with the massage I had at Indian Springs on Saturday and it was like two different worlds. I almost needed another Sandra massage to erase the ugliness of the Indian Springs massage. I will go back in a heartbeat and add to the massage the fact that the gift shop is filled with unique treasures - you need go no further in Yountville. :) read more

Spent half a day this past weekend with my wife for our wedding anniversary to pamper ourselves with a massage. The massage was great per the wife's response but as for me since we did a couple's massage, i had better massages for half the price. This one in particular was not so great....let me tell you, i know masseuse hands get tired so they alternate using their elbow/forearm. I wasn't impressed due to the fact my masseuse used her elbow/forearm the whole 90 minute massage that i paid for. I felt the money i spent wasn't worth it. If i were writing a review for the hotel it would be a better rating than the 2 star I'm giving for this spa experience. read more

Spent a late morning to afternoon at the spa. Couples massage was very well set up and executed. The changing rooms were very clean and well stocked. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, even though we weren't staying over at the hotel. The spa is in a comfy pocket on the hotel grounds, vibe is calm and modern. The restaurants and shops around the hotel are walking distance, though they seem to even rent out bikes to probably get around the small town on Yountville (we didn't bother to try biking because....). Booking a spa also gets you access to the pool and jacuzzi located above the spa, which we spent the most time after our massages. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a simple and semi-secluded getaway! read more

Amazing spa experience. Splurge and get the enhanced facial-- you won't be disappointed. 90 minutes of bliss. My esthetician was Saundra & she was soooo good. Lots of pressure point massage, & what seemed like a million different delicious smelling masks & serums were applied. I felt extremely comfortable. The 90 minutes went by quickly, then I floated back to the lounge area. I highly recommend arriving early not only to use the facilities (infrared sauna, etc) but to check out all the wonderful products at the boutique! Really nice stuff, and very high quality. Reminds me of a little bit of San Francisco, since everything is so modern, but with the coziness of Yountville. Perfect. The best thing about this spa is that they allow spa guest access to the rooftop pool with a day use fee. Enjoy the sunshine and lap pool with comfy cabanas and lounge chairs! The bartender was friendly and attentive. The massage was good. I definitely recommend a 90 minute treatment. Small locker room and only one shower stall and bathroom.
