Wow. Since the renovation, they no longer offer spa treatments to locals. Meaning, if you live around the corner and want to book an entire spa day, you must be a resort guest or member to even step foot into the facility. Nice ocean sounds in rooms to try and drown out, but sensitive listeners might be annoyed. Also....AC units so loud you can hear them 50 ft away at the swimming pool. Not good during summer months when the AC needs to be on. Once amenities finished....a definite 4 star experience (5 star experience when the AC units aren't cranking in the Summer months). I visited the spa during my stay at Silverado Resort for a much needed relaxation massage. I appreciated how conveniently located it was, just across the street from the main property, with a large parking lot that made access easy. One of the highlights was having full day access to the spa facilities. I loved that I could come and go throughout the day, making it easy to enjoy the amenities at my own pace. The massage itself was excellent. My therapist was incredibly intuitive, applying just the right amount of pressure and finding tension in spots I did not even realize were tight. The spa features a steam room, sauna, whirlpool, and locker area. I also liked the thoughtful touches, like fruit infused water and chilled cucumber infused towels to cool off after the sauna. That said, the overall space could use some updates to match the price point. While the service and amenities were solid, I would likely try a more modern and luxurious spa next time I am in the area. read more

There's no comparing this "spa" experience with something like the Meritage. The ambience and amenities just aren't there. But the estheticians are still amazing! I just had a 100-minute massage with Ahnesti at this spa and it was truly one of the best massages I have ever had! When I arrived I was greeted by friendly receptionists and escorted to the waiting area. Very clean and spacious with lovely amenities. I used the dry sauna and the steam room before my massage. Ahnesti gave me a wonderful massage; she found all my sore spots and worked on them with just the right amount of pressure. I liked that she was quiet except to check in to make sure the pressure was okay and to have me breathe deeply during more intense moments (chatty massage therapists drive me bananas!). Her work on my feet was divine! After my massage I used the sauna for a few minutes and then enjoyed the shower and use of a blow dryer, lotion, etc. I would definitely come back and will definitely ask for Ahnesti again!! read more

We've been coming to this spa for 20 years. It was so delightful and we were always treated like a Princess, the BEST massages, high end supplies, and top shelf staff. NOT ANY MORE! I'm so sad. To begin, the jacuzzi needs a lot of work! I am actually WARNING YOU, do not use a good bathing suit. The seating area is crumbling and you will get snags in your suit and scratches on the back of your thighs. It's horrible! When I called to make my appointment, I was given very restricted timeframes because 'a very large group' is taking over the spa that particular day. We found time slots and took them. The day of, NO ONE WAS AROUND! The place was a ghost town! That was a total lie! I learned from my masseuse they are extremely under staffed. The massage was ok. The gal talked THE ENTIRE TIME!! Not very relaxing! Minimal supplies now. Sorry, but I will not be returning to the spa that hit all of my marks in the past. Highly overpriced. Look elsewhere! read more

I had the most relaxing time at the spa today! I had a 80 minute massage booked and took advantage of the spa facilities. I came early to workout and decided on a swim. The pool at the spa is a heated 25m lap pool. It's 16 and over so it's quiet. My massage was wonderful! Tony was my therapist and it was relaxing. I appreciated that he listened to which areas I wanted to focus on and asked for feedback on the pressure. After my massage, I enjoyed the steam and sauna rooms. The facility is clean and fully stocked with toiletry items and towels. There were snacks and fruit infused water in the women's lounge area. I loved all the body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotions provided! I had such a wonderful day at the spa and hope to be back!! read more

This review is for the nail salon. The Spa at Silverado is a local gem for manicures! In particular, Debbie is amazing and personable, and after two appointments with her I'm forever loyal! The spa experience allows you to lay by the pool, dip into a jacuzzi, detox in a steam room, or just chill on a chair. You get a locker, bathrobe, and slippers upon check in. I do wish they had better beverages, snacks, and chairs to lounge in prior to a scheduled massage. Even a chair where you can lay down in more. Prices are reasonable, although a 20% gratuity is already included in the total. Although this helps guarantee no masseuse is short changed for their hard labor, I do find it bothersome because there's a chance you could not enjoy your massage as well. My masseuse did great works for my back and especially my neck. Everything else was okay. My masseuse was very short and to the point. I did not leave feeling as relaxed as I've had with past massages. It was definitely helpful but not a spa I would return to when in the area. read more

I maybe had high expectations for this spa because I'm a local and I've heard good things. However, it was very disappointing. When checking in the girls weren't necessarily rude but extremely apathetic. I asked them a few questions which I got a one word answer. The spa host was nice but the spa is in bad shape. It looks like they haven't updated anything since they opened. Nothing worked (spa or steam room). They offer the bare amenities so bring everything you need. The therapist was good but they mixed me up with another client so my 80 mins massage started 15 mins late. The girl said she would make up for it but she had a client right after me so she did 5 mins so fast that it actually ruined the whole experience. Including rushing through the only thing I asked her to work on. I didn't ask for a discount or even complain but I did expect the front desk girl to ask how my treatment was but she just took my money and that was it. When we went to the pool, there is no service. I guess you have to ask the front desk for towel? That would have been nice to know. Throughly enjoyed my therapeutic massage here. It was nice to get a short tour of the spa too. The amenities are nice from lockers, showers, saunas, hot tubs and drinks/snack offerings. Very clean and friendly staff. Marvin was my masseuse and boy did he work my knots! He used a sports/muscle relaxer oil during my massage. (He let me pick 1 or 3 after consulting with me on my body issues and needs..I explained the focus on my neck and back but also I was a bit sore from an extra strenuous workout recently). He used medium to hard pressure and it was just right for me. He had water ready for me after. I also stopped by to get another cup of water before leaving. I left feeling relaxed and anticipated some soreness the next day. I stayed hydrated and continued to drink water throughout the day. I would come back and would recommend this spa for a massage. Because it's on a resort equipped with a gym, be prepared for less privacy. The waiting room can get a bit busy at times too. read more

Update 6/26/2012 - Downgraded to 1 star for a double charge. I just checked my credit card statement online, and the people at the front desk are a bit retarded. I originally charged $222 ($85 up do + $70 mineral makeup + $30 eyelash extensions + automatic 20% tip) to my credit card prior to the services. Then I was told that we could get a 10% discount for staying at the resort, but I would have to get that done as a separate transaction. Instead of refunding the difference to my card, they charged my card again! So now I have 2 ~$200 charges on my credit card! I called the spa, and after some discussion between the two front desk staffers, all of which I heard, it was concluded that they could not just refund the difference, and therefore had to cancel the first charge and charge my credit card again. It would have been nice if they had told me this! Unprofessional, to say the least. They said the first charge should disappear or be refunded to my credit card by the end of the week... We'll see about that. Well, I won't be returning for their overpriced packages or confusing billing. 6/25/2012 - 3 stars Meh, I think I've been spoiled by spas forever. My first experience was at the Spa Grande at the Grand Wailea Hotel in Maui, so now I think every other spa pales in comparison. This one is nice too. There are lots of soothing fountains and pastel colors that are pleasing to the eye. The music is unobtrusively calm and tinkly. I liked the robes that they provided: super plush. The spa shares the space with a gift shop, the resort gym, a small coffee bar, and the salon. They had the ubiquitous spa water as well as complimentary apples, pears, and dried cranberries, cherries, and almonds to munch on. The facilities aren't huge, but they are sufficient. I enjoyed lounging around the private pool and using the sauna and steam room. I also had my hair, makeup, and eyelashes done here for a wedding. Their prices are a bit steep, but I was pleased with the up-do. Their stylists are very good. The makeup left me wanting. While they do use the finest mineral makeup, they don't have airbrushing available. Also, I was surprised that I couldn't get an appointment time closer to the wedding itself. I had an 8am appointment for a 4pm wedding. I knew that my face was going to melt off before then. My makeup lady didn't really seem to know what to do with my Asian complexion, and she also neglected to blend the color onto my neck as well. I ended up having to do a lot of blotting and touching up. She also SUCKED at putting on the lash extensions. I had a ton of clumps of glue on my lids and they obstructed my vision. I took my mom here for her birthday. I will start with the positives. The space is dated but well maintained. The front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. After spending some time in the hot tub we left to get our treatments. I had Gabriella, and was really looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable deep tissue massage. The masseuse began with asking if I had an areas to focus on. I explained my neck and shoulders and that I liked a lot of pressure. I can't even explain in words how unenjoyable the massage was. My girlfriend and I had come to have a spa day for our 1.5 anniversary. Although we were not able to access the pool nor the jacuzzi due to the ash from the nearby wildfires, we still had a great time. My masseuse, Akila, was amazing. When she had worked around my back I noticed that she would put some focus on tense areas of mine that I forgot to tell her about. I was surprised she was able to catch on to those tough spots! She had spoken in a hushed tone so the atmosphere wouldn't be broken, that's some good customer service right there. She was really intent on making sure I was as comfortable as possible, after the massage she let me know that I was able to access all of the facility and made sure I was informed about everything. If I ever had the chance to go back I would definitely choose her again. My girlfriend's masseur was Tyler. From what I heard from my girlfriend he was generally just okay. When he had walked her to the room we got a massage in he did not really say much, nor did he after. I was also told that his massage was also just okay. She felt like he was rushing just a bit, as we have booked a 50 minute session, but regardless we still have paid a lot for this. He would also just spoke in his regular voice when he would ask about the pressure, compared to Akila's softer tone, so the atmosphere was a bit broken. After the massage he had just silently led my girlfriend back to the changing room and so my girlfriend was just there not really knowing what to do. Aside from all of that the steam room was also very interesting. I've never been in something like it before so I walked in and assumed it was on. Until another gentleman came in and threw a towel onto the thermometer and the steam began to billow out, a new and interesting experience. I also went into the sauna, but didn't really know how to work that either so I just left it. I noticed in the snack area there was a red looking liquid and upon smelling the mysterious liquid I had discovered that it had smelled a bit like wine, knowing this is wine city and me being underage I stayed away but I was surprised that there was just free wine. Brought my wife here for a couples massage to celebrate her birthday. Overall, we had a very nice experience at the spa. The facility was nice, having an outdoor pool, gym, and separate locker rooms and relaxation areas for men and women. This was our first time here, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. You will be guided by a staff who will give you a short tour of the facilities, and then it's up to you how you want to relax until your massage. They provide you a locker with combination lock, a comfortable robe, and slippers. I had the deep tissue massage, and my wife had the Swedish massage. Our masseuses were very friendly and provided excellent and professional massages. We only had one issue, where we were billed for our massages even though the massages were part of a package that we paid upfront which included a one night stay at the resort. One phone call to the resort, and everything was sorted out. My wife and I will definitely consider coming back to the spa one day. read more

The most disgusting spa I have ever been to. And the sad part is that I have been there in 2017, four years later just awful. They deduct time out of your alloted massage time for being just a few minutes late and then some, on top of that they charge and automatic 20% gratuity. So you are paying outrageous prices for partial service and are required to tip. Plus the facilities level of accommodation is just sad. They don't even give you a locker to put your clothes and don't provide a place to change other than the bathroom, besides that they used to give slippers and robes, I understand it's covid times but I have been to another spa about a month ago in a less nice area, they charge a 3rd of the price and provide you with a locker and robe and they actually clean their facilities. The pool and spa have not been cleaned in months, very obviously and were full of bugs, just filthy. On top of that the lounge chairs had big rips in them. I went here with 7 friends for a girls weekend and birthday. Overall, we had a good experience, the massage was great, facilities are nice, and I would sooo love to go back... but I can't and won't. Most of us thought we had booked all the appts for 3PM, but we did book months in advance, so okay, we figured our collective memories failed us... after all, they probably had it written down in their calendar, right?... my cousin repeated "4PM? Are you sure?." "Yes, okay." We arrived at 2pm and our rooms weren't ready, so we drove and walked about the grounds a bit... checked in at 2:45PM... great! THEN... we're settling into our rooms when the spa calls at 3:20PM and tells us we're ALL LATE FOR OUR APPTS! WTF?!? A couple minutes of arguing with the spa person on the phone until they said we are WASTING OUR TIME and BETTER GET TO THE SPA ASAP.... ASAP!! Our already-PAID APPTS ARE TICKING AWAY. Again, WTF?!! So all of our SEVEN 1-hour treatments turned into a 1/2 hour job. Most of us did agreed the therapists were great, aware of the situation, and did their best to give us a great treatment. Afterwards, we tried unsuccessfully to get in touch with the manager (unavailable so we got her business card - Ms Yalda, btw). Never got a call from her the whole weekend we were there. We went home. We wrote letters and emails... left messages... several times... NEVER GOT ANY TYPE OF RESPONSE... None. Nothing. Nada. read more

My girlfriends and I decided to take our annual spa day out of town for a change and chose the Spa at Silverado. Not a terrible choice, but so not worth what we each paid. From what I understand though, this was one of the more reasonably-priced spas in Napa. One of my friends and I chose to start off with a workout in their little gym before our hour-long massages. The moderate-sized workout room had a variety of cardio machines, some of which were equipped with their own television sets. I spent my time on a treadmill with a pretty old school TV before me as I ran. The locker room was a little on the small side, at least relative to its usage and there really wasn't a lot of privacy to be had when changing (which sucks when you have to do it around people you know). The lockers were large and each came stocked with a plush robe, rubber slippers, bottled water, and towels. A small vanity table placed in the corner was all there was for the four of us placed in that section of the locker room to share. The waiting area in the locker room and the pool area just outside are cool areas for lounging while you wait. There are juices, tea, almonds, and dried cranberries in the waiting area for you to munch on as well. I had the Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, one of their signature massages. What exactly is a Lomi Lomi massage, you ask? I have no idea, but six of the seven in my group had it done. There was no description on the Silverado webpage, and it didn't feel all that different from the standard deep tissue massages I'm used to. I think they sort of customize the massage, whichever one you choose, to the client's preferences. The massage therapist that worked with me was very sweet and went out of her way to allow me to select the scent of the massage oil I wanted used (they usually use a coconut-scented oil for their Lomi Lomi, but I can't stand coconut-scented products). It was a good massage and the facilities were very nice, but I'm not sure if $130 + tip for only fifty minutes is all that worth it... read more

We stayed in a condo at the club for the first time evah. As always, I must try the spa to completely experience the enjoyment of resort living. On this day, I only had time for a massage. However, I'd worked out in their gym before and hung at the spa pool (ahh, the benies of membership). I've also shopped in their gift shop. AND had a smoothie in their cafe. It's casual but nice. It's home for me ... literally! Pops lived at Silverado CC since I was 12. This was the shortest massage I've had in a decade. Only 50 minutes. In spite of its' brevity, I enjoyed my visit to The Spa at Silverado. Only $130 bucks and included the tip. Not too bad. I got an appointment even just calling the day before. I needed to decompress. Staying at the Silverado resort and coming to the the spa for the Rejuvenation package was part of my Valentines gift from my Valentine (: he was right on! You come to this spa because it is apart of the resort, one doesn't go out of there way to come to this spa. I had the 50 minute Silverado massage which was great, nothing special but just right. Then the 50 minute Mimosa scrub. They use all Eminence products which is all I use, so this was great! Last I had the Wine Country facial. By now I was so relaxed I completely dozed off, but before I fell asleep it felt amazing. Again, all Eminence products. The Spa itself is nice. The robes, the lockers, the whirlpool and the attendants were phenom. Great service and I felt really comfortable. They add gratuity onto everything for you, so my total was $456. read more

I go here regularly for pedicures and they do a nice job. Young staff, but they know what they're doing. I love Janice. She's fabulous and gives a great leg rub! The wax treatment feels soooooooo good. Michelle is great too! The best part about this place is that as long as you book a 50 minute treatment, you can use the spa facilities all day. Which is actually what I did yesterday! Although it was raining, I still swam in the pool because it's a steady and wonderful 85 degrees all year round. The whirlpool, steam room and sauna are equally as lovely. Iryna at the front desk is super sweet and very helpful, as are all the women who work their butts off keeping the back area with the lounge and locker rooms totally spotless, the juices and cucumber waters stocked and pass out free cheese and fruit. Yum! They have a bathing suit spinner in the bathroom which is like the coolest thing ever. And, they have all the amenities you need. It's just like being at your regular bathroom at home. Regardless of whether or not you're staying at the hotel, if you're from the area it's a nice place to go to get your regular primping done because of all the extras. read more

It was hard deciding what rating to give. I received a massage here and it was great. They have the facilities you look for when you visit a spa. The reason I feel it deserved four stars is because other spa's offer the same facilities and service pricing, but in a fully renovated and spacious setting. For example, they only have four showers in the Ladies quarters and two for the Men's. So there was a 10-15min wait for a shower. The pool area is very nice and so are the staff. This review is long overdue. I took my cousin here for a girls spa day. It was FABULOUS. We felt so very pampered and relaxed, we spent about 6 hours there. We had a massage, a facial, and a scrub. We also went swimming, hung out in the jacuzzi, and enjoyed the steam room. The staff was welcoming, and every part of the grounds were clean. I loved every minute of being there. My husband and I just got married at Silverado last weekend, and I have to say that we and our party had such a great experience. Everywhere we went, the staff was phenominal. They were so accomomdating, friendly and polite, that everyone wants to plan a second trip out to Napa. I decided to book a spa appointment the day before the wedding. from the moment I walked in, i felt like a princess. My cousin and I were greeted at the front desk, and instantly one of the guys at the front desk congratulated me on my upcoming nuptials=) I had the lavendar sugar scrub and the lomi-lomi massage. The lavendar sugar scrub felt a little abrassive at first, but I hung in there knowing that it'll serve a greater purpose...and boy was I right. As soon as I washed the scrub off, my skin felt so supple and hydrated. The lavendar was very calming and relaxing. They also gave me a scrubing brush to take home! Next, I met up with my cousin to get a Lomi-Lomi Massage. I wasnt sure what to expect, but Im glad I decided to try it out. It was pure heaven...just the right amount of pressure, with long, deep swiping strokes. We finished off our spa appt. with a few minutes in the steam room. Had a great time at the Spa with my girls for my baby shower. Second son, didn't need anymore clothes so we opted for a weekend getaway. As you arrive the staff is really friendly. They instruct you where to go to collect your slippers and bathrobe. They were running a promotion and were handing free Intuition razors. Love those things. The locker room is really drab and the lounge area really lacks chairs. When its a full house there is nowhere to sit. But all of the other little amenities they have arriving. Flavored water, chilled towels, pool/spa and sun bathing area. Once you get "called" into the back where they do the treatments...I felt like I was in a weird movie where everyone in uniform is standing around staring at you while you walk down the hallway. A little weird but maybe it was lunch time. Great massage. I was soooo relaxed! They take great care of you. After your treatments you are able to use their gym, pool and other activities they offer. CON: If you are paying really good money to stay at the hotel why aren't you able to use the pool and gym without getting a service at the Spa? The gals who did not receive treatments (2) had to pay $20 each to use the gym and pool. I thought that was ridiculous since there were so many of us getting treatments. Also, its a bit of a walk from the mansion to get the treatments. They should have a shuttle. When I get treatments I don't want to sweat before I arrive. But that's the chubby girl in me talking. I recently made a reservation for a lavender Mint Clay Wrap. Upon checking in for my treatment I was told I had a massage scheduled and they could not accommodate my request. We had called 3 weeks in advance for this appointment. I was truly disappointed in both not having the clay wrap and the actual massage I ended up doing. The massage was sub par. I have had plenty of massages and this one was definitely ranked poor. My massage therapist was just following routine. 5 stars. 5 stars? Yes, 5 stars. Here is why. I surfed around in order to find a spa for a special day that wasn't too far away from San Francisco in order to celebrate. After a few hundred to relax I didn't want to sit 2 hours winding my way back home in a car coming from Calistoga, so I was looking in Napa. My requirements were a soak in a hot tub/hot spring/bath before a 90 minute massage. LE MERITAGE in Napa was a bust. Another reviewer said that just getting an appointment was a hassle. An understatement. You would think after charging way-too-much for services you could pay someone $9.75 (no benefits) to answer the phone for 8 hours. But when the phone was finally answered, the only appointment I could get for a couples massage was for 6 pm. No. Thank. You. A little late. So, more surfing, called the Silverado, two rings and it was picked up. I was able to book a massage that day within a few hours of when I called. The grounds are amazing, beautiful setting, awesome staff, great massage and when I was shopping around for a tub soak ahead of my massage, I found ones with roses and natural bubbly water for between $75-150 a couple for a 1/2 hour soak. Survey says, no. The Silverado has a separate women's, men's and co-ed whirlpool for soaking for as long as you like. A meticulously maintained shower washes away any chemicals before you get your massage or other treatment. Alcohol and free nonalcoholic beverages are available in the extremely comfortable lounge prior to or after your treatment. Comfy robes, enough clean thick towels to open your own store, complimentary shampoo, lotions, sunscreen, shavers, it has it all. Me and my hunny will go back. read more
