I paid approximately $100 expecting a complete service. Unfortunately, the massage I received was extremely disappointing and did not match what I paid for. The massage only focused on my neck and shoulders. My lower back, mid-back, legs, stomach, arms, hands, and feet were either not addressed or barely touched. I specifically asked for more pressure, but my request was not followed. I left feeling like I did not receive the full-body massage I paid for. Out of habit, I initially left a $15 tip, but after reflecting on the experience, I requested that the tip be returned because I was so dissatisfied with the service. I also requested a refund because the service I paid for was not provided. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, the manager repeatedly contacted me and threatened to call the police because I disputed the charge. I paid for a service that I believe I did not receive, and I was disappointed with how my complaint was handled. My bank initially credited me the $99 while investigating the dispute, but the matter was ultimately not resolved in my favor, and I am now responsible for repaying that amount. This means I am paying for a service that I feel I never received. What was most frustrating was the lack of professionalism and the way my concerns were handled. I later went to another massage location the same day and received the full-body massage experience I originally expected. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. Customers deserve to receive the service they pay for and to have complaints handled respectfully. I was ripped off.

She also at that time stated that Yoyo was part time (well why was I able to book her for that time). The lady that came to do the massage was decent but it wasn't the type of pressure that I received from Yoyo. At that point, I knew I would never come back here. The lady for the facial then came in and couldn't get her equipment to work. She left the room and 5 minutes later came back with another machine. She then told me that she told my girlfriend that she was about to do my facial. I don't have a girlfriend and came into the want myself. To whom, did she tell this information? At this point, I really just want to get this all over with. Next, Jason came in for the cupping. For each cup that he place on my back, he slid them all around my back. The pain was unbearable to the point where I was tensing up. After he placed the cups, he left out of the room then came back within two minutes and appear to be eating something. It's a spa, waiting area at the entrance, it's dimly lit, soft music playing, and the rooms are private. I don't need much more than that. I was offered tea (barley I believe) and a man brought out a bucket of warm water for me to soak my feet while I waited in the lobby. Not sure the purpose of the foot soak, but I appreciated it. There's also a short form you complete to indicate how much pressure you'd like, areas to avoid or focus on (if any), & preferred oils (for massages that include oil - shiatsu does not). After a brief wait I went back to the room and so began the best shiatsu massage of my life. The first time I had shiatsu I had no clue what I was about to experience, several later and this is my preferred massage. Very firm, lots of pressure, and knees in my back to get all of the tension put of my body. I scheduled for 60 minutes and it was so satisfying I added 30 minutes when he asked if I wanted to extend the session. Love this place, I will be returning for future shiatsu massages and maybe try the thai massage. Also, parking is free in the garage adjacent to the spa. However, it's only one level and I had to circle at least 3 times to catch somebody leaving. I'm sure this varies depending on the time of day, but I'll probably just pay to park on the street out front. There's a 3% charge if using a debit or credit card, but they offer payment by a few other methods to avoid the charge (Zelle). Which was easy to pay and avoid the charge.

The spa table was not the most comfortable with dips in the wrong places for someone my height- beanbag pillows below the knees and neck would have solved the problem. The esthetician went through my beauty routine with me (and criticized my use of over-the-counter facial cleanser...hey, if doctors recommend for sensitive skinned folks & burn victims, I think I'm ok to use it). Overall, my facial felt cleansing and relaxing and the esthetician was very friendly and skilled- my skin afterward felt soft and relieved of the winter dead skin, though I may have reacted to some of the products that my skin was not used to. The hot towel that's used throughout the massage really was relaxing. I chose lavender sage for my oil and that was a great decision. We ended up not using the sauna and steam room. The sauna you have to shower every 10mins and we weren't trying to do that so we chilled in the waiting room and enjoyed the snacks, water and tea. After that we went to the pool and hung out there for a few hours. Ordered the burger and a strawberry mojito (fresh and muddled). I love that it was fresh and not the purée, I can't stand that. Now that burger...it's 2 patties and everything on it hit the spot. I couldn't even get a good picture because I was hungry but just know it's worth IT!!! My friend and I had a wonderful experience!
