I'm writing an update to my 2020 review because I gave the spa an opportunity to address this…read moreconcern directly before posting publicly. In January, I took the time to write a thoughtful and professional message and electronically send it. When I arrived for my February appointment, I realized I had not received a response. I printed the message and hand-delivered it to the staff. One staff member verbally acknowledged, "Yeah, we received it." Now, as I prepare for my March appointment, I still have not received any response. As noted in my original review, I have been a loyal customer since 2020 and schedule my appointments for the entire year in advance. My massage therapy journey began in college after a physician referral, and it has remained an important part of my wellness routine ever since. I value my relationship with my massage therapist just as I value relationships with my physicians and hairstylists. Jordan knows my body well, and I feel comfortable in his care. To be clear, this review does not reflect the majority of the staff. Many are consistently kind and professional, such as Amour. This feedback is directed toward the staff who appear dismissive and unwilling to provide a professional response to reasonable customer feedback. While booking my 2026 monthly appointments, I noticed yet another price increase. The 90-minute deep tissue massage increased from $155 to $180 -- approximately a 16% increase. I did not request any price adjustment or special accommodation. I simply scheduled a 60-minute deep tissue massage at the current $140 rate. My only request was that the spa consider announcing annual price increases in advance. In the past, staff have called to acknowledge feedback, which I appreciated. I expected the same professional courtesy this time. I am not asking for the owner to contact me -- simply a professional acknowledgment. This seems reasonable considering the spa regularly sends emails and newsletters with other announcements. A former employee mentioned the spa has been under new management since I began coming in 2020. If expecting basic communication and professionalism is unrealistic, then perhaps my loyalty as a long-standing customer is also being taken for granted. Supporting a business should never feel like your voice is dismissed and doesn't matter.

My girlfriend loved her massage from Ren. Facility was clean and quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended! J.Ja

I really like the layout, it's very airy and serene especially the massage area. The secluded beach getaway vibe was working for me the curtains and atmospheric sounds definitely help to set the mood and help you mentally escape. Walking in I was greeted by the friendly staff and ushered to the back by my therapist who took time to ask me my preferences and areas of concern....I liked that But, my actual massage experience was not great. I purchased the 80mim deep Tissue, my therapist never applied the proper pressure for the type of massage I requested, even after informing her to apply more pressure. I was just being rubbed on, for someone that works out as I do that's just a waste of my time. I left with the same stiffness and knots....not feeling rejuvenated at all. Which is disappointing seeing others had better experiences. My assessment was that she was new and not the best match for me or the massage. My therapist was not as skilled as I would have hoped for the price Now asks for. My recommendation is that Now should do a better job of paring therapist to the client and type of massage, I do not see myself going back after this experience.

She was amazing -- got deep into areas I didn't even realize were holding tension and focused on mobility, recovery, and real body work. This wasn't just a feel-good massage... this was purposeful. I walked in tight, heavy from weeks of training. I walked out lighter, aligned, and feeling like my legs remembered who they were. Exactly what you want before race day. Zanah has strong, intuitive hands and clearly knows the body. She took her time, listened, and worked with intention. I left feeling like a new man -- reset, grounded, and ready. If you're an athlete, runner, or just carrying stress in your body, I highly recommend booking with Zanah. I'll definitely be back.

Susan refused to accommodate this preference and stated that she would not continue the appointment if I chose to remain face down. I found this approach unnecessarily confrontational and dismissive of my comfort level. Throughout the session, there appeared to be no consistent technique, rhythm, or treatment plan. She repeatedly asked me to make various arm and body movements during the massage, something I have never experienced with any other massage therapist. The constant interruptions made it difficult to relax and seemed to disrupt the flow of the session.

Additionally, the pressure she used felt excessively rough and heavy-handed. This did not feel like a therapeutic deep tissue massage; rather, it felt aggressive and uncomfortable. On multiple occasions, I informed her that what she was doing was painful, yet she continued without making meaningful adjustments. I was also disturbed to find that she moved my personal belongings from where I had left them without asking. Furthermore, she repeatedly dragged a collapsible stool across my hardwood floors, creating unnecessary noise and showing a lack of respect for my home. Overall, the session felt unprofessional, inattentive, and poorly executed. Instead of feeling relaxed, relieved, or cared for after the appointment, I left feeling physically uncomfortable, mishandled, and emotionally distressed. As a veteran receiving care through this program, I expect providers to demonstrate professionalism, respect for patient preferences, and basic customer service skills. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below those expectations. I am submitting this review because I believe serious attention should be given to the quality of providers being assigned. My experience with Susan Davis was one of the worst therapeutic massage experiences I have ever had, and I do not wish to be scheduled with her again
