My pups were so stinky and in need of a grooming. Spa Bow Wow is just down the street from my office so I booked an appointment. The groomers and owner were super friendly and my Shih Tzu and Bichon were Sparkling clean. My Shih Tzu has long beautiful eyelashes and all the other groomers I've taken him to they always cut his eyelashes but the groomers at Spa Bow Wow took the extra time to cut around his eyes by hand so that they didn't cut his eyelashes. Super happy!!!

I've been to a number of different groomers both chain and small business over the years and I have to say that this one has been the very best! They take great care of Bentley and always do an excellent job! Nick and Holly are amazing and I know Bentley always enjoying hanging out with them. Seriously - you're missing out if you don't take your pet there!

Nick conferred with his groomer and the two came up with a recommendation for Neville's first haircut.

She can also have an extra half pill every 8-12 hrs if anxious during the day. Cover well with the turkey and give. If she is still anxious, call her vet to increase dose. When I picked her up on Sept 9, I was told that she wouldn't be allowed to come back to the kennel as she "wasn't a good fit". She was extremely anxious to the point that she was shaking and had to be hand fed. Unfortunately, when I arrived back home and counted the trazadone, I saw that no extra doses had been given, just the bedtime dose. The pill bottle itself even said give extra if needed. My instructions also said "If she is still anxious, call her vet". When I called Countryside, I was told "We never call vets". The problem is, I wasn't called either and my dog was allowed to be extremely anxious when she could have been medicated. I would like to know why my dog was allowed to be so scared when Countryside had extra medication to give her and failed to let the vet or me know that she needed an increased dose. Countryside suggested I get a home caretaker. My dog won't let anyone in her house. She's be very abused prior to our rescue. I've been working with a trainer to help. I sent an email asking for review by a manager or above, but got not repose from Countryside.

My truck broke down and had to be repaired in Maryland so we were a week late getting back. I knew the food would run out so I called and spoke to the manager. My dog was on a special diet. I told the manager to go to Hamby Road Animal Hospital to get more food and have them call me for my credit card. No one followed through and when we got back my dog had lost two pounds because she wasn't getting enough to eat. It was very noticeable when I picked her up. Then Covid started and the lobby shut down. There were less employees too so for years now I've never seen the dogs outside like I used to. Plus our dog seemed hoarse the second to last time she was boarded there which struck us as odd. Last March 2023, I had to have surgery. We boarded our dog for only two nights. When she was picked up, not only was she hoarse again but she had to poop 3 times in a row. So we surmised she was put in her room and ignored. She would only bark if she need to go out or wanted her play and walk times I was paying for. Our dog was so well house broken that she held her poop and barked to be taken out so much she got hoarse. We decided that she would never go there again. She is dead now from cancer but the two trips we made last year before she got sick, we took her with us. We decided not to use this place anymore.

He gets plenty of group play time and has clearly made a lot of canine friends. One of the funniest (and most reassuring) things is how excited he gets at drop-off--he bolts in like a kid seeing his friends at school and doesn't even glance back. He always comes home completely worn out. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the facility seems clean and well-maintained. Overall, a great option if you're looking for a safe, social environment for your dog.

I spent a lot of time researching boarding facilities before I found Puppy Haven, and I can honestly say it was the best decision for my son, Dior. From the very first evaluation and training consultation, the team made me feel welcomed and reassured. They took the time to explain the entire process, answered every question I had, and made sure I felt comfortable before leaving Dior in their care. The staff at the Johns Creek location are phenomenal. They're friendly, professional, and it's obvious they truly love what they do. Since it was Dior's first boarding experience, my anxiety got the best of me, and I called several times to check on him. Not once did anyone make me feel like I was bothering them. Instead, they were incredibly patient and gave me detailed updates about his day. They told me how he was exploring his new environment, making friends, and showing his curious personality. Those updates meant the world to me and helped me relax knowing he was happy and in great hands. What impressed me the most was the genuine care they showed Dior. They didn't treat him like just another dog--they treated him like family. That level of compassion is hard to find, and it's exactly what every pet parent hopes for. If you're looking for a place where your fur baby will be safe, loved, and cared for as if they were their own, I highly recommend Puppy Haven in Johns Creek. Thank you to the entire team for making Dior's first boarding experience such a wonderful one. You've gained a loyal customer, and Dior can't wait for his next visit!
