I don't usually leave reviews and wouldn't be leaving this one had the owner called me back. I took my cat to be bathed and groomed a few days ago. After a couple of hours, Nico called me to come get my kitty and in a jokingly way said there is no way we can do a bath today. After being concerned and not joking but shocked wondering what happened he said my cat was biting, hissing and was so upset and I needed to come get him. Once I got there, Nico collected my $153 before getting my cat from the back. Once he was out front I took my cat out of his carrier and he ran from me under the couch hiding. I have never seen him so terrified. The groomer came out saying of course there was something wrong with my cat and she doesn't know what went wrong. Once I got home from the nice gash on his neck I could understand. It's been 3 days, no call from the owner, my cat is still hiding, but on a positive note he did refund my tip! After being a customer for over 20 year, that will be our last trip! read more

They have groomed our two Aussies, our Shepherd and three cats. The animals all came home clean and happy. One of our cats is very grumpy but they had no trouble dealing with him. I feel their rates are reasonable. They are a little hard to find as the door is on an interior courtyard. But worth the effort! read more

One other thing that should be added to my review is that Beverly, the owner of the salon, kept telling me that she shaved my dog to 1/4". I had no knowledge of this at the time, but I was told by another groomer that damages the hair follicle. read more

Reasonable prices for basic cat grooming but the owner "Miss Beverly" is rough with the animals and barks at them (talks down to them). I'm not sure what's going on in her personal life that she is not friendly customers has no personality and it's always frowning and then expect a tip? If you're going there for service, you're probably OK but I hate to give my money to owners, who have no appreciation for your business. read more

I brought my two English Creams in to get their usual trim. Instead without Paws asking, In the middle of fall, they decided to shave both of them. They still charged us for the trim and discounted the shave. We felt so lucky. NOT. When my wife do graciously picked them up they didn't give her their collars or leashes so she had to drive back and retrieve them. If you have the time to wait I would strongly suggest it as it is clear no one is teaching, mentoring, or overseeing the operation. We are still in shock seeing our retrievers walking around in the rainy cold days with a protective coat no longer there. Good luck with Paws. read more

Was not happy with the service of the salon. We would tell them how to cut the dog's fur, and it wouldn't come out the way we described. My dogs wouldn't be matted, but they always claimed they were and charged extra for it. The owner is not friendly either. The owner is not friendly or helpful either. read more

I want to thank Paws Pet Salon in Roswell for taking care of my babies When we adopted Peter Parker 11 months ago, they gave him his first haircut (2nd before & after pic). He was so badly matted but they made him look so handsome. Today, we took our new rescue, Tony Stark, for his first haircut (1st before & after pic). His hair was badly matted as well. Today was my first visit with Paws. I would like to preface this review with a little background on me. I have been in the veterinary industry for 20+ years. I have worked as a grooming assistant and managed a grooming facility. I could not be more thrilled with my entire experience. Upon check in I was greeted promptly. The groomer who checked us in was friendly and thorough. She took the time listen to my wishes and seemed very knowledgeable. The other staff members were busy with other grooms but took the time to acknowledge us and fawn over my pup. I felt more than comfortable leaving my precious new addition with them. My dog is a miniature poodle. The breed itself takes a lot of skill to accomplish a quality groom and they can be done a million different ways. At pick up it was evident that they listened to my wants and needs and pulled off exactly what I had envisioned. As a vet professional I have always heard great things about this salon and have referred countless of my clients to them. I have a hard time finding a good reliable groomer I n the Roswell area. One groomer I used stated that one of my dogs gave her a hard time and we would be charged more. This was after I told her he can be nippy and they can use a muzzle if needed. I stated if you are patient with him, he is a dream. Needless to say, she wasn't patient. We swapped groomers and tried one that opened up close to my house. I went to drop off the dogs on our scheduled appointment day and no one was at the store. I called and left a message that we needed to reschedule, and never got a call back. Finally we tried Paws Pet Salon and they are awesome. I set an appointment with them, and they called the day before to remind me of the appointment. She nice this was our first time using Paws, when I dropped off the dogs, they asked questions about how I wanted the dogs groomed. I told them they needed to be patient with our senior and that he was nippy. I stated if you are patient with him, he's good, and that they could use a muzzle of they needed to. They called a few hours later to state the dogs were ready to be picked up. When I picked them up, they were in separate kennels, but next to each other which is good. They looked perfect and smelled good. Even a few days later they still smell good, even after being outside and rolling in the wet grass. I would recommend Paws to everyone. read more

The owner of this place is friendly and the customer service is good in this place. There was a miscommunication between what I wanted and what the groomer did. I called and reported I was unhappy and owner asked me to come in and fixed his ears. It's still not the way I wanted because all the hair is chopped off. But, it's just hair, it's gonna grow back. I bring my 8 yr old yellow lab here once a month for spa day. He just loves it, bath, nails clipped and under brushing which really helps with the shedding. I have been going to Paws since 2005 with our beloved and very much missed Dixie. I now have 2 rescue terriers that love their spa day at Paws. Beverly, Gabrielle and the rest of the staff take excellent care of the terrier ladies. They run into the door of Paws for their Spa day. Gabrielle is very gentle with both, and she can calm both Olivia and SweetPea. I can highly recommend them, they will take very good care of your furry kid. read more
