Absolutely obsessed with Dog Wash Alpharetta and Allyssa! We bring all three of our pups here (two Maltipoos and a Cavapoo), and every experience has been nothing short of amazing. Allyssa is truly a dog whisperer - her skill, care, and patience are unmatched. Our oldest pup, Jack, who's 14 and usually not a fan of grooming, always leaves happy and stress-free. It's a huge relief knowing they are in such good hands. As mentioned there is a small credit card convenience fee($3), which is completely understandable for the quality of service. If you'd prefer to avoid it, just pay in cash. We can't recommend Allyssa and Dog Wash Alpharetta enough - so grateful for the phenomenal care they give! read more

This is a response to a previous review where I'm unable to directly address the owner's claims. As customers, "we expect accurate, honest, and fair information from business owners", and that responsibility goes both ways. This review, however, includes information that never occurred or was shared with us. We were unaware that an investigation was even taking place, and despite your promise, you never provided the CCTV footage. In our phone conversation, you acknowledged that your staff's behavior was inappropriate, apologizing for every concern I raised--this is recorded. Initially, I was informed that Raina was being aggressive toward just one individual, but when we asked for specifics, we received conflicting responses from the staff and management. You later clarified it was the bather who attempted to "distract" Raina by waving a towel. This approach is far from professional. If a towel or cloth is waved at a dog, the dog may see it as a toy and try to grab it, and in this case, your employee's hand happened to be in the way, so Raina unintentionally grabbed both the hand and towel. When we arrived to pick up Raina, she was terrified and crying out, yet your staff continued to talk rather than immediately release her to us. To make matters worse, Raina's legs were soaked, and she was foamy, she had been locked in a wet room. We were initially told this reaction was limited to one person--not three. This discrepancy in your account raises doubts about the truthfulness of your response. This is Uma's son. I was there alongside my mother, and Raina displayed no aggressive behavior toward us. Where were you? You never fully explained the situation, nor did you mention that Raina allegedly "jumped and bit someone's face." We were not informed of any aggressive behavior beforehand; had we known, we would have reconsidered bringing her to your facility. The only feedback we received was that "she's being a husky" and "she's energetic," which is far from a warning about aggression. Either you withheld this information or are now being dishonest. You agreed to coach your staff to prevent this from happening again. Now, it seems you've completely backtracked on that commitment to make things appear favorable on your end. In a separate incident, one of your team members mentioned the law and said you would "have the law take care of Raina." I hope we both understand the implication of that statement. This is not de-escalation; it was threatening. Mentioning that you would notify the authorities certainly felt like a veiled threat to us. As for your "careful methods," it's clear from the use of a towel, similar to a toy, that Raina was baited to grab it, which was reckless. This also marks the second instance of feeling threatened, as you implied we should take down the review--just as you did during our phone call. I compared the recorded call and you response and noting is adding up. All we hear are lies in an attempt to save your business Suggesting we find another grooming salon and stating that you'd "notify them" about Raina is uncalled for and is also another threat. Our intention is not to harm your business, but to inform others as a precaution. Additionally, this investigation has been entirely one-sided; none of the details were shared with us, nor did the owners or managers reach out directly. They also kept messing up what we asked for: standard cleaning and shave. All 3 employees we spoke to kept forgetting we asked for shave despite it being on the intake form and we had to remind them. Not a competent company and employees would not give us our money back when they missed charge my husband by the $20 overcharge. Horrible customer service. Be warned, they will quote you a price and then to try to charge you more when you pick your dogs up. read more

Average haircut for my dog. The only positive is that they groomed him fast and I picked him up in about 3 hrs. They also charge a "convenience" fee for paying by credit card which I didn't realize til later. Otherwise I would have tipped less. Or pay by cash but who carries around cash now?!?! Note to management- don't pass on your burden of running a business by charging extra for paying by credit card. He stated I said things that I never did, and saying my dog was extremely matted, which she was not. I will admit that she had heavy matting behind her ears and very small area throughout her body. Her hair is kept a little longer and is curly, matting is going to happen. Not to mention, my dog has a red marks where the groomer got too close to the skin. Anyways, future customers beware. I have never had a business owner message me personally and outside of business hours to berate me. Please consider this before visiting this location! *I was privately messaged at 7:30pm so I'm not sure how you were still working at the salon. We used to love this place. After today, we will not be going back. We've given grace multiple times for ear cleanings and mats but today, we picked up our doodle and they shaved her tail completely off without making us aware. We understand that doodles have issues with matting but when a groomer chooses to shave a dog without informing the owner, one would assume it's because it's easier than trying to get the mats out. Paying 85 dollars for a buzz cut for a dog is incredibly over priced. If you have a dog that's doesn't have long hair that so prone to mats, this place is great! My sister was so upset with her king charles cavalier's cut that she started crying in the store, the employee responded "oh no, don't cry in here. Save it for your car". She requested a mini cut online and was charged for a full cut. A very detailed description of notes were left for her trim and not once did it say on the sheet to shave the dog. Her dog had BEAUTIFUL long hair that has never clearly been cut in her life. Not sure how any of the bullet points on the note, the current length of her dogs hair, and the specified "mini" cut while booking the online appointment should've eluded to the plan of action taken. She even called my sister mid cut and said something didn't feel right... They were kind enough to reimburse my sister, but was not told that they were sorry or apologized once. Played the blame game that the notes were not a sufficient form of communication. Just disappointed and felt like proper responsibility was not taken. Please don't bring up the security footage, it is not valid evidence to explain why or how this happened. read more

My standard poodle has been going to a groomer for over a year and he always has a positive experience and receives a good pawgress report. I decided to try a new groomer, this place. When I walked in, my sweet baby was whining so loud. I thought maybe it was because he saw me. The next 2 days he was acting so traumatized and not himself at all. I called the place and asked them if something happened to him, like if he got cut. The lady that answered told me no and that they would have to inform the owner of any such thing. I examined my baby later that night and he had clipper burns ALL OVER HIS BODY!! His mouth was extremely inflamed and red. He had two places where they knicked him so bad that they literally took a chunk of skin out the size of a nickel!! Do not take your dog here!!!! read more

It's really too bad people don't want to basically take my money for free. The lady gave me zero attention/reasoning for not letting me help their failing business. After i read it, I asked for the price, and she snapped at me. I suppose she was annoyed that I wanted to read whatever it is that u was signing. I use dog wash cafe Windward parkway location to self bathe my dog often. My 80 lb dog is too big to wash at home and he is too scared to drop off and have groomed anywhere. The owner is always very helpful and provides plenty of shampoo, conditioner and towels along with grooming tools. I usually have his nails drimmelled while I'm there by the groomer and she is also very sweet to the dogs. The set up is perfect to self wash and the dryer is new and dries my tick coat dog pretty quickly. read more

The groomer takes personal interest in each dog by providing not only a fantastic groom but a friendly environment of love, care, and taking interest in each dog and owner. They always do a fantastic job, and I feel good leaving our dogs with them because it is clear that they care about them. (They ALWAYS remember their names before I even open my mouth.) Prices are very reasonable. The groomer in particular is excellent. Only ONE criticism is that the front door swings OUT, so that it is quite easy for a 45+ lb dog (like mine) to push the door open and run out... can lead to some scary situations with the busy Kroger parking lot right there. read more
