My kids loved the fountain play area, lazy river and water slides, dad loves the lap pool and hot tub. There's a nice variety of paid and "free" classes for both kids and adults, as well as community activities and access to physical therapists and personal trainers. I'm an amateur kettlebell sport athlete and use the facility 4-5 times per week. The staff is generally friendly, helpful and accommodating, they keep things reasonably clean and in good repair and they have a wide variety of cardio equipment, free weights and weight machines to choose from. It can get crowded evenings and weekends, but there's seldom a long wait for equipment. I love ending my workout in the steam room or sauna and a nice hot shower before I head to work. I've had memberships at chain and franchise gyms as well as private gyms. If you're self-motivated and have your own training plan, this is a great budget-friendly option! So grateful to have access to this great facility supported by our community!!

You aren't suffocating yourself within 2 seconds. I had to cool pool plunge a COUPLE of times, just to be able to keep... myself from overheating. Literally, I think the temps were approaching 130-135F -- it was almost too hot to sit on the wood in the sauna, and the steam room was so bad... it wasn't even 1 minute and I was out of there. Stayed maybe 1 hour total. I felt... for the money paid, that isn't worth it.

Ron spoke with me when I reached out to him and answered all my questions. I cannot express to you how much I LOVE this tub. I do recommend getting both jets as the whirlpool jets heat up the water and the air jets cool it down. The quality of the tub is great and it arrived in perfect condition. We liked the design and the jet system so ordered one for our new home. When the tub arrived at our home in Wyoming, we noticed the box it was shipped in was damaged and made a note of it. It took us a while to finish the house and have it installed but once we did, we noticed the tub was leaking. It wasn't leaking in just one spot where the box was damaged but 4 different areas! Ron assured us he would ship us the necessary parts and pay our plumber to fix the repairs. Two months later, after waiting for parts and then more parts, and $1500 in plumbing expenses we finally have a working tub. Problem is, Ron said he would only reimburse use for $1000 of the expense because it would eat up his profit. So, rather than pay for the repairs as promised, and have a satisfied customer, he stiffed us on the repair cost! Unless you have extra money set aside to pay for any plumbing that may be displaced in shipping don't plan on having a working tub upon installation. Read less

The pool is huge with several straight lanes to swim plus an area to power walk with other adults. In the rear of the building, people were playing pickle ball on the basketball court. The outside parking lot has plenty of parking spaces. The center is in Dover and was a 20 minute drive from my area of Aurora. The center is open 7 days a week and holds many activities. Absolutely Horrible Experience with Marty at IHT…read more We recently purchased a Hot Springs hot tub from IHT and, while we absolutely love the tub itself, our experience with Marty was nothing short of a nightmare from start to finish. A close friend of mine sells Hot Springs tubs and had helped us narrow down the exact model we wanted, so we walked in as an extremely easy sale. Unfortunately, Marty seemed to take that as a license to stop trying. He made it very clear from the beginning that customer service was not a priority. After negotiating and agreeing on a price, Marty insisted that we drive through a snowstorm with summer tires to deliver a physical check that day, claiming it was the only way to lock in the price. We later learned that was completely false when the store called to take final payment--over the phone, via credit card, with no issues or added fees. Post-purchase, Marty continued to drop the ball. He was consistently rude, condescending, and disorganized. He referred to me by the wrong name multiple times, even after I corrected him. He also scheduled our orientation, then canceled it the night before at 9 PM via text--saying his grandchild was sick and he needed the day off. I responded understandingly, expressing concern, but also letting him know how unprofessional that was. He never responded. The next morning, I called the store to follow up--only to have Marty answer the phone. When I asked why he was at work after canceling our appointment to supposedly care for his grandchild, he became defensive and rude instead of owning up to the situation or apologizing. When I expressed how upset I was about the entire experience and the promises he hadn't followed through on, he cut me off and started aggressively questioning what he hadn't delivered on. For an $18,000 purchase, I expected far better treatment--especially from a sales rep earning commission. Marty was dismissive, unprofessional, and made an exciting purchase stressful and frustrating. If you go to IHT and Marty is the rep who greets you, RUN the other direction!! I truly don't know how he's still employed there. Again--the tub itself is fantastic. But the experience getting there, thanks to Marty, was absolutely awful.

FIve stars all the way through! Additional detail for exemplary review: Spa was initially wired by an independent licensed electrician (NOT associated with Colorado Custom Spas) who made enough mistakes to render the spa dead in the water (no pun intended), which became apparent immediately after filling. When the issues were reported to Derek, his immediate concern was the sub-freezing temperatures that were expected that night. He personally drove from Castle Rock to Elizabeth after hours to deliver a submersible pump to ensure the components didn't freeze. He also arranged for Evan to come up the following morning. He inspected the initial wiring (again, NOT done by an electrician associated with CCS), came up with a fix to provide heat and circulation immediately, and provided input on the other errors he identified that needed to be addressed for safety reasons. He also provided input to the previous electrician to ensure that corrective action was taken care of by the party that made the errors. On top of all this, he called back the following day to check in! Typically, not a user of social media to either torch vendors online with negative reviews, or give glowing reviews when either is not warranted. In this case, however, I thought I would be remiss not to recognize exemplary customer service, especially in a day and age where this seems to be a foreign concept to many businesses.

My younger kid took swim lessons here and was on the swim team as well. There are new changing areas and everything feels fresh and clean.
