I have been coming to this bath house for 9 months to a year now. Every time I visited, I booked a service, spending $150-$200, and always left feeling fulfilled -- until my last two visits. In both visits, I was pressured to move my appointment earlier than what I originally booked, simply to accommodate staff who wanted to leave early. I choose my appointment times so I can enjoy the amenities (Jacuzzi, steam room, etc.) beforehand, and that should be respected. During my most recent visit, I arrived at 6:00 PM to enjoy the facilities before my 7:00 PM service. At 6:30 PM, while I was in the steam room (which was noisy), staff confronted me about my appointment. By 7:30 PM -- after waiting half an hour past my scheduled time -- I was told I would not be receiving my service. The staff claimed I yelled at them and requested too much pressure, which is false. I never yelled, nor did I make those requests. Instead of being treated fairly, I was dismissed, made to wait unnecessarily, and then only offered a refund. On multiple occasions, I also requested that certain areas of my body not be touched due to pain -- and that was not respected. The facility itself is not as clean as it should be for the price they charge. After nearly a year of loyalty, I expected better. A paying customer should never be asked to adjust to staff schedules or have their service preferences ignored. I will not be returning. read more

The staff were constantly coming in & out of the steam room & sauna for no reason at all and each time with an angry or suspicious face. I don't understand why. There was no real opportunity to relax for more than 5-10 minutes. The men's side seems to have 1 section under maintenance or at least it appeared that one side of the showers & a one room was under construction. You get only 1 towel so I suggest you bring extras yourself. My experience was certainly mixed, I enjoyed a few aspects of being there but the staff behavior was hard to accept. This review is a little hard for me to rate. On one hand, I'm so excited we have a Korean spa in Denver! It's a treat in itself to be able to unwind and relax someplace where the sauna, steam room, and hot tub are all HOT! I am really grateful for the heat, because most places feel not hot enough for me when I've been. But, here at Havana Spa... it's hot and wonderful! The service was also very friendly. She gave me a tour and made me feel very welcome. On the other hand, this spot is no where near any level of luxurious. It was clean when I went, but also needs some updating and fixing. For example, the mud room ceiling is about to fall in it feels, so relaxing in that room isn't really an option. The ceilings in the tub areas are so warped and black around the edges... I can't tell if it's mold or just old in general. I was happy the tubs and rooms were clean, but they're in need of updating and care. There are tiles missing in the tubs, so be sure to not cut yourself, etc. Also, at the entrance into the women's locker room, there are little open air Guinea pig farms. Which... is adorable by all means, but a little unsanitary for a spa. Will I be back? Of course! I would recommend coming here with friends or just for some good ol' alone time like I enjoy. You get a towel upon check in, but in the shower areas there are only communal bars of soap. I would recommend bringing your own shampoo/conditioner/soap & also keep in mind, this spot is nude. Things have definitely taken a turn for the worse here. It's now $28 pp to enter. At the desk and splashed across every visible door and window are signs warning of illegal activity. Ugh. It's downer from the get go. They haven't made any effort to keep things up. Dirt and grime in corners, on the walls and in the locker room and the sauna make it clear they are really only doing the minimum. Room temps are ok. The guy from the front desk is constantly in and out and learning at patrons. It's kind of creepy. It's like he is scoping people out. Made me feel uncomfortable. There were maybe ten people of the men's side. It was reasonably quite but the front desk guy constantly opened the steam room door which cause cool air to swirl in and constantly adjust the temp. The center dry sauna was more consistent. Very unfriendly and the last time I will patronize I would say that lake steam bath is a better experience if you want a sauna. read more

The place is alright. Not the best from an overall viewpoint especially considering that this is one of the very few bathhouses that I know of that exists in the metro area. And the price you pay to use it is pretty decent. Will consider using it again in the future read more

Quite a bit far from downtown Denver, but I definitely want to go. So honestly it has to be the worst Korean spa I've been to. Mud room was barely warm. Front attendant seemed to be way more invested in watching tv. Two hour limit. Steam room was really not steamy. No shorts/shirts to use in mud and crystal room. Had to wrap a towel around me. WARNING !!! WARNING !!! I'll begin by saying, this place is a bit out of date and misleading. 90% of the Environment is a Disaster and 10% is borderline ok. 10% being half of the lobby and Lockers besides that everything else is 1940's or about to Collapse. I'm being serious, the so called "Resting" Room is occupied by Beach Chairs! Let's be serious here, Beach chairs are not relaxation Chairs! At this point I felt as if I entered a little village in Budapest. I thought to myself " ok; I'm here for Steam and Sauna Room what do I care about some half broken Cheap beach chairs.". I proceeded to the "Crystal room", not really a room to relax when Men can "play" with themselves openly! I'll be honest I have never been in a "crystal room " much less a room where guys play with themselves. At this point I was ready to get this over with and continued to the Dry Sauna. Only one of three Dry Saunas is open. Not surprised ! Being in that room for about 20 seconds I couldn't help notice the room was poorly made, and coming apart. I assume it hasn't been upgraded in over 10 years. I understand a Dry Sauna can go through wear and tear quite fast considering the heat, my suggestion give the Dry Sauna more attention especially if it's the only one open/available. Moving to the Wet Sauna / Steam Room. Nothing special a simple Steam room with Naked Men's juice everywhere ! Seriously, not a place of relaxation or comfort. Plus one guy was looking at everyone's penis like he was watching a movie. The level of comfort went from 0 to -10 real fast. And as a common courtesy I minded my business and covered up. However the steam room felt greasy and/or sticky not hygienic whatsoever. Moving from Dry sauna to steam room I eventually jumped in the shower and prepared myself for the jacuzzi and cold bath. Side note the cold bath is not cold! The Jacuzzi was poorly cleaned and the Railings seemed to be growing something! I believe this shows a lack of responsibility. Places like this should be kept to a higher standard and not a quick business buck! Quality always surpasses volume! I don't feel this place deserves more Th an two stars. Plus the towels smelled like a Used Mop! I'll continue with dress code! If anyone can answer this question please comment below but why is it mandatory to be nude in a spa? I don't understand it and honestly seems to be unnecessary. I know most people don't want to see each other's private parts so why the exposure. Personally, I can enjoy a steam or dry sauna with a towel or swim shorts makes no difference to me. Just a heads up Men are not going to cover themselves prepare yourself for maxes out Nudity. I spent a little over 3 hours here. I relaxed in the sauna, steam room and hot tuba and ended my visit with a body scrub and 60 minute massage. The cost was reasonable, I thinm my goal was $120 before adding tip. The facilities require no clothing, but they are separated by gender. Upon arrival, you are given a towel and locker key. The space is clean and well kept. I am comfortable with nudity so this was not an issue to me. The free roam area includes two hot pools and one cool pool, a sauna and a steam room, locker room style showers and in the other area are crystal and mud room saunas. All great but I do wish the steam room had some eucalyptus infusion. The sauna was hot, and I wish I had asked for a second towel to protect my back, but I found the heat enjoyable. In the crystal and mud rooms, there are no chairs or benches, just bamboo mats and neck supports to lay down on the floor. I found this area charming and wish I would have stayed longer to meditate. The spa services--- not a place to be modest The body scrub is a full body scrub (literally on every nook and cranny) and has virtually no privacy from the people in the hot tubs and cool pool. It was a weird experience being rinse off with tubs of water after being scrubbed down naked, I kept my eyes closed for most of it. Afterwards, My skin was so soft and if I ever have a special event I'll get a spray tan for, im doing this as my pre exfoliation because they were thourough. The massage was terribly uncomfortable and at points so painful I was clenching my jaw. However I feel this is my fault because I said nothing, and she asked I said it was okay. I love this place! Usually I go for a Korean massage and Joe, who is amazing, kneels on my back and gets the kinks out! Today I tired the body scrub. I am so glad that I did! No frills, utilitarian. 8 passes. The best is when she throws buckets of warm water over you. I also tried the half an hour massage that is also in the bath area as opposed to the massage section- included my hair washed and the massage. Milk for the face was a great touch. I prefer this spa much more over the other bathhouse in town. I think because they allow women every day rather than it being a men's spa, the services are better. There is also a crystal room where you can lay on a bamboo mat, heated floor and bathe in amethyst and geods. Keep in mind tips are cash only. read more

We really enjoyed our time here. I don't have a context for a Korean spa, but I've been to plenty of hot springs. I found the locker rooms and common areas to be clean. The tubs and sauna were basic and lovely temps. I expected the mud room to have mud you put on your body. Instead, it was sort of like a warm adobe quiet meditation room that I very much enjoyed. I liked that they had a hot tub with bubbles and a still one. I generally prefer still and that's hard to find. The cold tub was just right for me. My partner who does real cold plunging said it could have been colder, but I liked it. We also had a salt scrub. It's definitely the full deal with no modesty whatsoever. The warm water they splash on you was great! If you are ok with naked and no modesty you'll get a great rub down. I was nervous about the nude atmosphere before going. But it was honestly no big deal. Bring cash for tipping. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I will come back with a robe and my own shampoo for next time! Nice spa experience. I like that there's no phones. Some young people were chatty, but most patrons kept quiet for the relaxation vibe. Havana Health Spa is great way to spend a chunk of your day relaxing. They have a steam room, sauna, hot tub, warm tub, cold tub, crystal room, and mud room in the women's section. I'm not sure what is in the coed area, I didn't go there. This place isn't luxurious looking. There are huge holes in a few parts of the ceiling, hopefully it gets fixed. Nonetheless, it is relaxing. It's $19 to get in the spa. If you purchase a service, then the spa fee is waived. They have body scrubs, massages and facials. I went for a 60 minute massage for $70. The massage was great but she started late and on top of that she cut my massage short by about 7 minutes. Robes cost an extra $1.00. They give you a towel and two locker rooms. A tiny one for your shoes and a larger one for your clothes. You can wear your robe or towel in the spa rooms, but the hot tubs are nude, no swim suits. The steam room was sadly not hot. It was comparable to being in a foggy room that is mildly warm. Suave shampoo and conditioner were provided along with an Irish Spring bar that everyone shares. I've been coming here off and on for a few years and considered it to be a nice, relaxing atmosphere. I went today for the first time in a while and was shocked at how badly the place has deteriorated. The prices went up and normally I'm ok with that as long as the quality of service and accommodations are up to par. However, the cleanliness, maintenance, and ambiance have deteriorated dramatically! For example, the new price sheet advertises a towel, and bar of soap. Upon check in I wasn't given soap but didn't say anything because the showers have always been stocked with what you need. That is no longer the case. The showers now have nothing and my only option was to just rinse. I even asked a fellow patron where I could get soap and he said you just have to look on top of the lockers. This is unacceptable! You literally have to stand on a bench to get to the top of the lockers which is a hazard but I did just that and found 1 unopened bar laying in a pile of dirt and dust. On top of that it's a little difficult to feel welcome there when everywhere you look the owners have posted notes about do this and don't do that and don't shave here etc. Although the most irritating part would be the lights!! They are as bright as they can be in every part of the spa...sauna, hot tub area, steam room, Crystal room...everywhere! On one hand I was thankful because the bright lights really showcased how run down and poorly taken care of the place is. But at the same time, they are so bright it's invasive and there is nothing relaxing about it. In fact, they are so bright I would not be surprised to have left with radiation poisoning.
