My husband and I came to Spa Django recently for our anniversary. Although we were a few minutes late we were accommodated to still attend what was left of the time frame for our massages. The massages were in a nice couples room but you could hear other guests of the resort outside of the room. When I went to shower the locker room floor was soaking wet, there were no towels and the showers were dirty. I had seen the resort before but finally decided to try out their spa for a birthday. It was a wonderfully relaxing experience. I went on a Sunday and even though there were people I saw in the facility I was able to enjoy each amenity by myself, outside of the private pool and relaxation room. They have a sauna, whirlpool, and eucalyptus steam room in addition to their lockers, showers, bathrooms, and other items you might need. They also provided alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and sweets to eat. read more

Spa Django has perfection of services, retail therapy and calm and relaxation at its fingertips. Right when you walk through the doors, you're greeted with various cute merchandise that you ponder if you truly need. Husband treated us to a duet massage in their Duet room at a whopping $300+ish price tag for 60 minutes of bliss. We showed up 30 mins early per their reservation details and were shown the spa amenities of steam room, sauna, lots of fresh fruit infused water, and snacks and drinks! I was provided a locker to set up things and get changed and make myself cozy in the female side of the spa. It was pure bliss. I was the only guest for the most part before my massage so I got myself naked and sat in the hot tub and sauna with no clothes. The area being clothing optional and all. In the co-ed area, you gotta wear your swim suits. The massage itself was amazing, at checking you emphasize what areas you'd like to focus on and the massage people do their hand magic! Calming, tranquil and very lovely amenities of everything you need to clean yourself up before heading out. I also need to say that the Oka-b sandals they provide you at the spa are AMAZING! I almost brought myself to steal them and the cozy robes made me feel so at peace. I got a facial from Shelly today at the spa. It was the first facial I've ever had that put me to sleep. Her technique was absolutely incredible. Turns out she's been doing it for 14 years and it shows. I was trying to figure out what she was doing with her hands and at first it seemed like her strokes were too fast and hurried, however after about 30 seconds my brain was unable to keep up with the movement and patterns and it was like fairies dancing on my face She put me to sleep in 5 minutes. I can only describe it as hand ninjitsu on my face. It was crazy amazing. I've had about 40 facials and this one was the best one I've ever had Not sure on the combination of products but my favorite was the cooling mask after the extraction process. My skin looks flawless. Definitely going to return for a monthly service! read more

Highly recommend Allison for a salt glow! She was very accommodating and wanted to make sure I was totally comfortable. If you're not big on massages, the salt glow is perfect, as it is exfoliating and ends with sort of a mini massage with the scent of your choice. read more

We called last minute on Sunday to see about getting a massage. I ended up getting a 50 min facial and my husband and I got a couples massage. I was a little hesitant because in my experience same-day appointments are not the most memorable. We just recently moved to the Cedar Creek area and wanted to give the spa a try. Michelle was an excellent massage therapist. Enjoyed a 30 minutes relaxation massage with the 15 minute foot add-on. It was wonderful. I was there for work and had my young family with me so not much extra time, but next time I return I'd love to spend some time on the sauna, steam room, and exploring the various relaxation pools. First, the good: when you have a service at the spa, you can hang out just as long as you like and enjoy the sauna, steam, gender specific hot tub (aka spa) that's big enough to swim laps in, , the private meditation type pool or co-ed spa or even wander over to the main pool and float on the super fantastic the lazy river in a tube. Now, for the bad: the two young ladies that checked me in at 8am seemed incredibly bitter that I was there, I'm guessing because it meant they would have to work. Whether they were detoxing from a night on the town or if they were just oblivious to the fact that they were in the service industry is beyond me, but the first impression of this spa was horrific. Moving on...when relaxing at a spa, I do not want to see or hear small children. I saw two in the span of an hour, despite signs that indicate no one under fifteen is to be in certain areas. Mothers should be admonished for thinking the rules don't apply to them, the staff should be admonished for not enforcing the rules and management needs a big ole spanking for not knowing what's going on in their shop. Moving on. My sister had made my reservation for me and signed me up for the Runners Revenge. A massage that promised stretching, etc etc. What this equated to was (in order): a cold massage room, a table that had me in fear of it collapsing, 10 minutes of massage with muscle melt and being wrapped in a mylar sheet. At this point the gal with the hands tries to perform a scalp massage which --- because I'd just been in the tub --- instead, felt like 5 minutes of hair pulling. When it's time for me to be unwrapped it's also time to wash the muscle melt off so I can have the rest of my massage. She cranks on the shower in the room and I stand waiting for - I KID YOU NOT - 4 minutes while waiting for the water to be a suitable temperature. Did I mention the room was also freezing? Oh, but did I mention that the room had a full wall of windows with gauze curtains? This particular massage is performed in the couples massage room which has a great view of a little pond and part of the golf course, since it's also the room with a shower. Voyerism is not my cup-o-tea. So I lay back down, get another 10 minutes of massage and she's done. No. Really. Lamestmassageever. I'd like to add that two of the friends who were also at the spa that day had issues with their reservations going missing completely. Fantastic day spa with all your essentials and friendly people! Sticking with the warm tan decor, this place was very inviting and relaxing. The staff is extremely friendly, though they did get their appointments a little mixed up. For some reason, I kept getting 15 minutes early/later than what I booked and this happened on 2 separate occasion. You've got a decent sized locker room which was tight but clean. The products were not readily available (hairspray, face wash, hair ties, etc.) compared to other spas. The steam room, showers, and sauna was away from the main rooms which was confusing, but they were well kept and clean. The outdoor jacuzzi was amazing. It was huge, and it was surrounded by a fence so as to keep others out. The jets had good pressure, and you got to hang out and enjoy the beautiful skies as you relax before your appointment. The relaxing room stayed true to the name, and they even have a delicious raspberry iced tea to hydrate you. My masseuse was adequate, and applied good pressure. I only say adequate because I am not a fan of pressure-point masseuses. This sounds weird, but I prefer the Swedish-like ones where they rub you. (Yea, yea don't take it out of context!) Other than that, she gave an awesome head massage and really listened to my focal points. 30 minutes is definitely too short, so opt for the 60 or 90 minutes if you can swing it. It's worth it... I would have loved a facial but couldn't fit it in. Looking at their products, it appears they use Eminence which is the same beauty line at Burke Williams. People come to Lost Pines to get away and when that gets old, I suggest the spa to further relax you! read more

However, despite my booking online for a 3:30pm massage (and this being confirmed), the spa decided to change the time to 3:00pm and sent me an email at 2:57pm to that effect. At the desk they told me that the system online allows sessions that start at 3:30 when you book but they don't take this. What absolute nonsense. So I was angry and stressed for the massage which was only about 40 minutes instead of the 50 I paid for. Also they won't take cash, which isn't told to you in advance. The staff were extremely rude to me about their own problems. Stay away. read more

The environment and the services at this spa are wonderful. The women's relaxation room will lull you to sleep no doubt! Sure the spa is a little pricey but you are at a pretty classy resort so higher prices are expected. Most importantly, the massage therapists are very good at what they do. I would like to give a shout out to Taci and Ann. Taci gives a great, great relaxation massage and Ann made my mom fall in love with the Texas two step which was her first massage ever. Jessica was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her throughout the day. All in all, a great place. We look forward to our next visit. read more

While very pricy, Spa Django is a lovely, restful experience that extends well beyond whatever service you sign up for. When vacationing with small children, the prospect of a vacation from my vacation is enticing. I'm glad I splurged, because the spa includes a private jacuzzi, dry and wet sauna, lots of fancy showers, and a lovely relaxation room with free coffee, tea, cucumber water, and tasty gourmet snacks. I may or may not have sacked out in my chair while waiting for my massage. read more

I will premise to say that I only got a pedicure at the spa....but the service was awesome! It is a bit pricey, but I felt it was worth it. Also you get to use the spa for the day and it was really nice - steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. The steam room was really hot - which is really neat. The gym is next door too. Downside is that the spa doesn't have all the small ammenities as other spas I've been to (q-tips, hair brushes, fruit, snacks...) but has the other essentials. But, I guess, it's always to bring/use your own hair brush :) read more

My massage with Rhae was excellent. Gentle touch, made me fall asleep which was my goal. My facial, however, was a disappointment. She kept asking questions, offering info I did not request, and she needs work on softening her touch. During a facial I want to relax and prefer the aesthetician to just do her thing. One of the more disappointing facials I've had. But alas, Rhae gave me one of the best massages I've had in a while. Kudos to her and the friendly support staff. read more

Our spa experience was fantastic at Spa Django! My husband, myself, and our 2 1/2 y.o. daughter were pampered by the staff. My daughter enjoyed an "ice cream" mani/pedi and the manicurist took her time and even painted every nail a different color! My husband enjoyed a massage by 2 therapist at the same time and I indulged in a hot stone massage. Excellent beauty products and luxurious robes sold in the boutique. Loved the fact that jewelry crafted by local artist were featured in the boutique as well as childrens flower barrettes. My family and I cant wait to return!! read more

My sweet man got me a spa day for my birthday at Spa Django! A massage followed by a facial. Amy M was my therapist, she was wonderful! She asked me if I had any areas I'd like her to focus on and she did the job so well! I didn't want to fall asleep so I could enjoy the entire massage, I can't be the only one that does that...right? I had about an hour between my services so I could hangout and enjoy some of the amenities. Of course I just hung out in the jacuzzi, I was alone out there and it was so peaceful. Next up, my facial. I get facials monthly in Austin(distance is closer) and I myself am a licensed Esthetician, and sometimes that can make too picky when I get facials. Well, TaraLee was OUTSTANDING and did not disappoint. Throughout the facial she would let me know what products she was using and if I would feel any sensation. She was so informative, so sweet and knowledgeable. I told her I needed a new exfoliant and she recommended 2 options but I chose the Almond and Mineral Treatment, let me tell you. I can't wait to use that exfoliant every Sunday and Wednesday! The manager Kayla was such a doll, literally...so freakin sweet and she helped me chose which exfoliant I should get! Like previous reviewers, I agree that the spa is lovely. Our son had a massage that he really enjoyed. My daughter in law and 5 year old grand daughter had a mani/pedi that they enjoyed. My reason for the lower rating is the price for the 5 year old...it was $90 + tip for her alone. I appreciate the fact that this is a Hyatt service and there aren't any other services in the area but I think that $90 is gouging at best. read more
