I enjoyed my massage here by Eiko. Her massage studio is small but well decorated. You can really feel classy when you are sipping water from a fancy glass after your massage. One way you can tell a professional massage place from a hole in the wall asian massage parlor is they give you a form to ask what areas you would like worked on or are causing you pain; another is that you sign about your medical conditions. The massage took place on a dressed up floor mat design. I felt warm enough and comfortable enough but was not used to being so low to the ground. I remember Eiko, the massage technician, beginning with my feet and washing them while I laid face down with a towel cover. She proceeded to work my legs and back. Her hands are smooth and strong. After working my back and arms she had me turn over to face up and worked on my head. I got an excellent scalp massage. The work she did on my lower neck was great too and was just what I needed for my computer neck. I don't know what kind of oils or lotion she used but it was good and I felt clean when I left. Five stars. She takes credit cards and has a loyalty program card that if you get 10 massages the 11th is free. read more

Keiko is an Amazing and highly proficient massage therapist and wonderful human being. She is kind, caring , patient and diligent. She listens to her client's concerns and customizes her massage therapy approaches to the the client's needs. I have significant musculoskeletal strain and tension issues involving my upper and lower back, neck, shoulders and occasionally lower extremities. I am a recurring customer every 4 weeks and she always adjusts her massage approach after checking in with me re: the current problem areas that I am dealing with that day. Her techniques for me include deep tissue massage / Swedish / shiatsu with elements of acupressure and cupping. Each visit after seeing her, I feel significantly better for a longer duration of time than with other therapists whom I previously tried. I have been waiting for Spa Eiko to reopen from its temporary close due to COVID-19. I made an appointment as soon as I find out they are open. The owner gave me a new mask and asked to wear it instead of the mask I was wearing in the store. It seemed she was making sure to follow the COVID-19 safety guidance that made me feel safe and comfortable. The reason I like this spa beside giving a great massage is that this spa is completely private and no other customers during your appointment. The owner Keiko adjusts her strength of massage per your preference. Unlike some other massage places, Keiko will start counting the time when she actually starts a massage. So I had a full 60 minutes of a massage as I made the appointment for. The massage you get at Spa Eiko is well worth for what you paid for. You won't regret coming here. read more

Before Keiko started working on me she did all kinds of interesting "folds" with my legs to stretch them out. All I could think of was I felt like I was an origami in progress. You will love her studio as it's so serene and the massage tables remind me of gift packages all wrapped in beautiful fabrics. I took the massage table that seems to be a modified futon (it wasn't but looked that way) on the floor. She has a regular one but I opted for the one on the floor. That is where she does her Thai massage. What a wonderful masseuse. I think it's the first time I've had a massage in years where I didn't ache all over from people being overzealous with my muscles. She is the first person who understood I do not want to have my body pummeled and ground up. I had a car accident that left my back and neck too sensitive to regular massage. Her massage is combination of traditional Thai, stretching, acupressure, deep tissue and Swedish! And she knows exactly what to do in the different parts of the body that needs attention. Wonderful massage, from a very kind woman. The studio is small, but for me, the most important part is the quality of the massage, and I get massage at least once a month, sometimes more. I was staying at Surf and Sand Resort down the road, and having gone to their spa, wanted to try something not as pricey. (That spa is fine, but not worth the high prices at all.) Anyway, I walked just a few short blocks from the hotel on a beautiful Laguna Beach morning and had a GREAT therapeutic massage by Eiko. I can't put a finger on it, it was just great. She adjusted to my request for more pressure and stayed away from my difficult knees as I requested. Her prices are affordable and I felt like I got maximum value for my money. I had a great experience at Spa Eiko Massage! Keiko, the owner and massage therapist, was such a kind and caring person. I did the 60 minute $85 session. When you first walk in, you're asked to sanitize your hands, check your temperature, and switch your mask to the one she provides you. You also fill out a form that asks for specific requests like the type of massage (Swedish/Deep Tissue), massage intensity (light/medium/heavy), body areas you want her to focus on, etc. Each session is done in a private room. The massage environment was relatively quiet and peaceful (occasionally I did hear people talking loudly and cars honking outside but it didn't bother me too much). I especially liked her scalp massage, it even made me fall asleep. She also provides complimentary tea and mini fruit bowl after the session. It's a little difficult to find this place since it's hidden behind shops, but this place is definitely Laguna's secret treasure!! read more

Absolutely wonderful experience. Brilliant combination of Swedish, deep tissue, and Thai massages all into a single Spa Eiko massage. Keiko's blending in of Thai massage means that your body gets the stretching it needs to truly address the muscles. The deep tissue massage releases the knots. (She can also walk on your back for deep release work.) And the Swedish massage makes it relaxing. I went back twice during our vacation in Laguna Beach. I wish I could go back now! The studio is lovely, clean, and smells great with aromatherapy. It accommodates client at a time but her schedule seemed pretty flexible for last-minute bookings. Perfection. I was looking for a good spa option during a recent staycation in Laguna because our hotel spa facility was all booked up...I came across this little gem on a lovely afternoon stroll. The location is quaint and tucked away, which some could easily dismiss, but I had an absolutely perfect experience. Keiko was kind, attentive, and really zero'd in on my areas of concern. I can honestly say that it was one of the BEST massage I have ever had with Kay. I have been getting massages for years, never felt as energized, relaxed and calmed as with her massages.
