This salon is clean & friendly. I have been going here for years, but had been giving my nails a rest from gel polish for the past five months or so to try to strengthen them. I just returned for a Christmas gel manicure last week. Tressie did a great job. The manicures here are always well done & last 3+ weeks. My only negative is that they tack on a $3 sanitation fee to every bill, and that was added during the pandemic, which was understandable when they went above and beyond with what they had to buy for safety and cleanliness. But sanitation is the nature of a salon business so I wish that that extra $3 fee was not still on there because sometimes it's added into the final price I'm given and I've tipped on it, which in my opinion is not right. I was also surprised that it was an extra $7 for cat eye gel. I do totally understand the extra for nail art, but waving a magnet in front of your nail for a nano-second, $7 seems a little excessive. But I'm guessing it's because that polish costs more than regular gel. Anyway they do a great job here, but they are pricier than other salons in the area. This might just be my new regular salon for manicures! I found this salon on Yelp while searching for a place that did hard gel or "structured" gel manicures. Some friends of mine go to a salon in Lawrenceville and rave about both the salon itself but also how much they prefer it to dip or acrylic. I wanted to find somewhere closer to my office but was having trouble finding a place that understood what I was asking for (ie, not a gel manicure, but this hard gel). I stumbled on Elle's Beauty Bar during my search and went to the website to see what I could find out. The website was extremely helpful; it explained the different services and what each consisted of. FINALLY!! I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. When I got there, everyone was super friendly, even the other patrons. Kristina did my manicure. I explained as best I could what I was interested in trying. She explained what it was and answered my questions. That done, I showed her a picture of what I wanted to try: a French manicure with each finger a different neon. She was all for it, and we picked out the colors. She asked to see the pic again, and I showed her. I didn't even notice at the time, but later I realized she looked at the photo for like 30 seconds and copied it EXACTLY. The order of the colors on my hand is the same as the photo! I just thought she did it randomly and it totally didn't matter to me either way. What attention to detail!! I love the way they turned out!! Fast forward - I was unable to get back to the salon for a whopping FIVE weeks. And while the mani wasn't looking 100% at that point, it had only completely chipped off of one nail. This was 100% my fault for waiting so long, but I was impressed with how good they still looked, all things considered. I've been back twice since my first visit, and I'm sold. The ladies here are lovely, easy to chat with, and the manicure does not disappoint. Highly recommend this gem tucked away in Cranberry!! read more

I visited the salon for the first time 4/11@ 1pm for a pedicure. That was the worst pedicure I have had to date. I basically paid $53 for a 1/2 hr nail painting. I have never been to an establishment that cares about their customers as much as this group of ladies. I have been going ever two weeks since September (catch me on Sunday mornings if you want someone to chat with). Now I'm a bit ocd about my nails but they get it lol! If I brake a nail they will make it work so I can come in and fix it the next day. They make you feel so welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Everything is so clean at Elle's. They start each client off with a fresh set of nail fillers and doctor grade sanitized clippers and this along that nature (I know my terminology is totally off, but you get the idea, it's clean AF). The skill level is outstanding. They are always staying up to date on the latest trends. If you're into designed nail art make sure you see Rebeka. Her and I will be celebrating our one year nailiversary and she never disappoints. When I first started going to Rebeka I was a full time server so I was extremely rough on my hand and and if I wanted to wait longer then two weeks I could. I would get complements on them up until minutes before I got them redone. She is by far one of the most talented nail artists I have ever met. Can't say enough about Elle's. Every time I've gone it's been with friends, and they make an effort to keep us all sitting together even if not everyone is getting the same service. They offer refreshments and a leisurely experience, and everyone is friendly. To top it off, my nails last significantly longer than they have from other salons, and they look incredible for weeks. Had an absolutely fabulous experience here with my mom! The service was amazing and we enjoyed our time at Elle's. We both got pedicures and Gel manicures which were both excellent. My moms one complaint was that they didn't lotion/massage. I hate to not give this business 5 stars but I am being generous with 4 when this unfortunately happened to me only 4 days after receiving the treatment. This is legitimately the only place I will come to get my nails done - while it is conveniently located close to work, it's about 30 miles from my home and I've made weekend trips because it is simply not worth going anywhere else. The atmosphere in Elle's is unlike anything I've ever experienced - everyone is very kind and familiar, the aesthetics are stunning, and the hospitality is something you'd experience at a family member's house ("can I get you anything to drink? A donut? We have pound cake. . ."). The staff are TALENTED, too - I am absolutely one of those annoying customers who comes in with a Pinterest board full of ideas, and I've never been disappointed with my end result (seriously, follow them on IG to see their incredible designs). Lastly, and something i love, is that this a legitimate small and locally-owned business. The owner, Gabby, is a young woman and is dedicated to her business and her staff and making it a success - which it definitely is.
