Massage Sway is the most magnificent place in the world!! Regina, my massage therapist, literally saved my life! I got very ill in April of this year, acquiring at least three types of flus, one right after another. Anyway, it left me very weak and I actually thought I was very close to my demise. Normally I go to milk & honey downtown but my sister was visiting from Australia and together we picked here. The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly, the relaxation lounge super comfortable. I had booked a massage and facial, I also chose one of their foot scrub enhancements. There are no locker rooms so you get changed in the therapy rooms and then carry your things around in a basket. I had just finished getting undressed when my therapist flung open the door of the room without knocking. I was left standing there completely naked while another person passed by in the hallway before the therapist backed out of the room and closed the door. Have to say I was pretty annoyed and embarrassed. It was only after she had begun my treatment that she finally apologized. She then proceeded to tell me that my foot scrub enhancement would be time and labor intensive and that she did not think it was a good idea. She tried to push me to a different one but I told her I would get something else from the facialist. My facial was fantastic. This is a very nice place and would have been great if not for the massage therapist embarrassing me and then not wanting to do my original enhancement. read more

This was our first time to their place and we went for a couples massage. The atmosphere was relaxing and very fragrant in a pleasant way. (I mention this because some places have a very perfume like smell.) I have terrible allergies and the smell didn't bother me, which was great. Our masseuse's were both good. They offer you red or white wine or hot tea when you arrive. Then, you are taken back to the serenity room where you can relax, munch on the yummy snacks they provide, refresh yourself with some infused water and enjoy yourself before you are taken back to your massage or facial! I pampered myself and went for a massage with Juan and then a facial with Lisa! Both were fantastic, and I left feeling utterly relaxed and refreshed. Massage Sway offers various styles of facials and massages (they even offer a Gentleman's facial which I thought was neat). They also offer packages! The monthly membership (called the Sway Club) is definitely a must have! The perks of being a member are unbeatable for the price! So I called to schedule an appointment for two massage time frames, the lady who answered the phone asked for my name, so I gave it to her from that point she was rude and unhelpful every time frame she had was full, funny thing is that I would ask for day and right away it was Oh we are full that day. This kept going on for a while then she said we can do two weeks from now. I asked for her name she said why? I told her she was rude and then said I guess, her name was Riley I asked her if I could speak to the owner / manager she said I am the owner and kept on being rude. I'm really not sure if my last name had anything to do with her not wanting to help me out but it really seemed that way. Speaking of tables, the face hole wasn't wiped down from the previous client and I could see where the drool had been left. I will never go here again and strongly advise everyone to go to another place down the street. The staff was friendly, but a little too friendly. I kept smelling a strong odor of alcohol from my masseuse. I havnt had a drink in over 10 years and was utterly appalled. Do not use Groupon for Massage Sway. In very fine print it says the discounts are only applied to first time customers only. Also beware that even if you're a new customer you cannot purchase two separate treatments like a massage and a facial for the discounted price. I had to pay the difference for my massage and they didn't allow me to use the money I paid towards the facial for the massage even though you cannot apply both groupons if you're a first time customer. On the app it says the company should honor the money spent and they did not. Also, on Groupon you have an ability to return anything you purchased, except for Massage Sway, they have a strict 24 hour cancellation. The massage is amazing, but the front desk should honor anything already paid even if it's not for the same service. Also, their WiFi connection is terrible for guests and they chose not to allow me to connect to their main network and I had to stand outside in the cold to get reception. I got a Groupon because the Domain is 5 mins from my house. Was expecting an average massage. But the entire experience was practically perfect in every way and I signed up for the membership that day. This was in May. The receptionist was super sweet. She checked me in and led me to the waiting room. She offered a few beverages so I asked for the champagne and she brought it out straight away. She let me know the massage therapist would be with me shortly. The waiting room is so relaxing that it deserves a mention. There are the comfiest chairs and sofas and it's spacious so you're not crowded with the other clients. The room is very dark and has high ceilings with long drapes that cover the windows. It was so relaxing, especially with the champagne. Plus they have an infused water dispenser and yummy snacks. My massage therapist came to get me and showed me to the room. She was professional and attentive and gave me the signature sway. It's half Swedish/half deep tissue massage. She started out with some aromatherapy spritzing. I chose lavender and it was lovely. She asked what areas were giving me problems so she could pay special attention to them. She also laid a warm, weighted eye mask on my eyes after I turned over on my back. Amazing! She did a wonderful job. She met me at the door with infused water and escorted me back to the front. The massage room itself was perfect. Light massage music in the background, soft sheets, and blankets if you're cold. The walls meet the ceilings which helps with sound proofing. I could not hear ANYTHING from people walking around or talking outside of my room. As I was checking out, the receptionist told me about the sway club and I couldn't believe how reasonable it was. It's 65/month for an hour massage, or facial, plus discounted prices on everything else. I signed up right then. I also got my gf to sign up the next month and I told everyone about it because it's the best spa I have ever been to. But I am the Goldilocks of massage therapists. I wanted to find one that's just right so I requested a different therapist for each visit. They made sure that happened and every one was great. Then I found Suzi/Susan. We clicked. I have probably tried at least 15 MT and she is the best. She knows when to talk and not talk which is really important to me. I'm there to relax and not think. But then every now and then, I like to chat. The actual massage was AMAZING. Suzi's hands are magic. The hot towels are so nice wrapped around your feet and on your back. The aromatherapy is such a nice touch and I think I tried the mint scalp rub that day. Love that add on! Suzi is down to earth and genuinely enjoys her profession. I feel so lucky to have found her. I have yet to try a facial because I'm a server and my feet and back are always killing me so I love my massages! But Ashely waxed me last week and she did a wonderful job. Again, very affordable prices in a beautiful, clean environment. I have been 10-11 times and every time I go in, I feel like royalty. I am greeted as soon as I walk in the door. Every single front desk person has been amazingly sweet and helpful. One minute after I'm checked in, I am in that awesome waiting room with a glass of wine or infused water. Suzy works her magic and I leave feeling like a new person. Plus there is a parking garage right behind it so it's always easy to park. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself at this wonderful spa.
