We had a consultation to review what was going on with my body. Then, she brought me downstairs into her wonderful massage space. The massage was beyond amazing. La Juana's hand work is strong and moved with intention to address my problem areas. She was very accommodating during the massage: variations in pressure for different areas, music, temperature, etc. At the end, she gave me recommendations for stretches, products, etc. I had a wonderful time here and can't wait for my next appointment!

The experience was so intentional, starting with a short consultation during which she asked questions to get to know us better, and then an explanation of what to expect during the massage. She used a variety of techniques during the massage that reminded me of Thai massage + Swedish + hot stones and some other tools that I had never experienced before. As a Black and Asian person respectively, my partner and I both value wellness care facilitated by people of our same identities. The quality of the energy here is so easy to surrender to. We are so grateful that this place exists--it really lives up to its name as THE Spaaaht!

We stopped by here on whim on our way driving South. We were staying in NYC a few days and thought…read moreit would be cool to go relax at a spa before we went and returned to reality. Our choices were staying in the city and going to one of the other Korean Spas or check out this heavy influencer/IA one -- we decided to try this one since it was conveniently outside of the city, but not far. Parking is annoying but not hard. They do have valet, but that area was a bit congested to get in and out. It was a bit pricey just for admission, but I guess it could be worse. The facility is beautiful. I just hate how overcrowded it was. We could barely find a spot in the pool. When we did, we decided not to leave for a while from that one spot. The pool with the view of the construction across the street and then the water was beautiful. Just really have to ignore the construction site, but where else you going to get a pretty view of the NYC skyline, wading in a pool on some upper floor? When we had our fill, we went to check out the other sections. The outdoor garden pool area was cool. I liked the different types of heated water and the nice waterfall. Still crowded. Went upstairs to the different saunas - they were really nice! My favorite was the K-body scrub. For 30 minutes, it was $75, which was totally worth it! All other places I've been to, made you do it for an hour with all this other foo-foo stuff and I loved that this K-body scrub was just a K-body scrub! Oh the feel of cleanliness! The food court area had really good food! Although overcrowded, it was well organized and thought out with how they serviced. (I've been to worse spas). We went to the quiet area to catch a nap before our 4 hour drive. People do NOT know how to be quiet in a quiet area and they had attendants shushing people but that didn't really do much. There was a cool Japanese sand experience that you can see from the food court window, watching all these people get buried under the black sand for treatment. Maybe I would try on a future visit. The infinity pool on the rooftop was beautiful. But once again crowded with people who were trying to get a break from the city. Young people who wanted a social place to eat, drink, hang out and get a tan while wading in the pool with the beautiful skyline of NYC. Yes, I would definitely go back even though it was so crowded. It was a great experience. I would have given 5 stars if not for how annoyed I was with people. I really enjoyed the esthetics of the place, the food, and the bath house inside with the hot tub and cold plunge. My favorite is still the K-body scrub. If I'm in that area again, I would definitely give it another go.

The booking process was seamless there's a choice of different services to choose from such as: Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and assisted stretching. There are also options to include add ons to your booking CBD oils and hot stones. EC Hands 4Health also offer package deals. There is a health intake form also on the website to fill out to bring with you to your appointment. Estina was so welcoming, she made me feel really comfortable. The atmosphere was also very comfortable. I booked the 90-minute Swedish massage but I wish I would have booked the 120-minute (2 hour) option. Prior to starting Estina check in with you to inquire if there are any areas on your body you don't want her to massage. After my massage my body felt so relaxed and the tension in my back was gone. I will definitely be booking the 2-hour session one for my next visit. I've been telling everyone about Estina's magic hands. This is the best massage I've ever received. Estina accepts card payments but there is also an option to pay via Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo, the website explains it all. This location is accessible via public transportation. Give EC Hands 4Health a try you won't be disappointed.

Before going in for the service, I reiterated this and I was very clear that I did not want any kind of Thai massage or bodyweight massage. Immediately this person's entire body weight was on me . I began to feel pain and alerted this person, but eventually had to stop the massage because the pain was too great. I ended up leaving 10 minutes in. I have had many deep tissue massages in my life, and I have never experienced this kind of pain. An hour or later, and I can't even move my shoulder. In addition to this, About two minutes into my massage I hear the door open and somebody walked into the room while I was on the table, which was very unnerving and made me feel very unsafe. I was laying there mostly Naked, already not being heard about the type of massage I want only to realize that somebody entered the room and I couldn't see who it was. I do not recommend this establishment. UPDATE: Siya was very responsive to my concerns and very open to finding a solution. They refunded my money and offered a complimentary service. I appreciate their understanding of the necessity of consent and privacy when undergoing treatment. Rating updated to reflect responsiveness.
