Kabran then sent out Delane to do an evaluation for a new unit. He quoted me about 9k for a 1.5 ton unit. He said their prices are high but their service is the best. I was open to it. Today, I tried calling and got "Anna" their AI. I eventually got a person. It was a 3rd party receptionist, asking me ridiculous questions when all I needed was to speak to Delane or a supervisor to see if we can get the new unit it. I got Delane today. Let's see how it goes. I liked him when we spoke previously and he seemed knowledgeable. This experience so far though, has not been good. Company needs to be reachable. Fast forward... New unit is now installed. It is functional. I haven't seen the work yet in person, but the team was there a long time working on it. Seems solid, so far.

We had our over 16-year a.c. unit went out and we knew we were probably going to be told that we have to have a new one as most air companies will try to do when they come out for a repair. But Bryan, who was the tech at the time, went out of his way to come up with alternatives to help get us up and running and I would say he succeeded because after he was through piecing several things together, the unit ran for 8 more years without any other problems! Forward now to last Sunday when it finally died. Living here in Brevard, of course, it is always on a weekend when your air goes out and will ultimately be the hottest day of the year. We called Atlantic and none of the techs were available but that was actually fortunate for us because that is how we were able to meet Larry the owner, if you can believe it, the owner came out on a Sunday to see if he could help. Who does that anymore, especially an owner? We didn't know it then, but Larry is somewhat of a Brevard icon, he represents everything about how a good business should be and used to be run, being honest, taking empathy on customers regarding their individual situations and taking the time to connect and give you your best options. You don't see companies giving personal care for their customers anymore, but if you are fortunate enough to talk with Larry you will know you have met someone who is genuine. Well, unfortunately we did finally have to get a new unit this time around, but Larry called with one in mind that would fit us perfectly and with him and the Atlantic-Air crew got us set up with a new unit quickly. He called us several times to check and see how we were doing and to let us know there is a light at the end of the tunnel and with the date and time the crew will arrive. I am sure he was in the middle of very busy times but yet took the time out to call and check on us, which to me means he's very caring. The Atlantic-Air crew is terrific btw, they worked tirelessly from morning till the late afternoon in the heat putting in the new unit and didn't leave till it was up and cooling, and it was all in the same day. They were very courteous, friendly, neat and knowledgeable. All great crew qualities. Our unit looked great, and we were starting to cool down by late afternoon. We were very happy once again with our experience with Atlantic-Air and we will always use them when the need arises. I cannot stress how much less stressed you will feel when you go with a company that you can trust and that you will feel good about, and that unequivocally is Atlantic-Air. Not only will you rest cooler by nightfall, but you will rest easier knowing that your air condition needs were met knowledgeably and honestly. I guarantee you will not look back. And just like our story, yours will have a happy ending.

My house in Palm Bay, FL was built in 2007. Late last year a previous A/C & Heating company from Orlando mailed me an offer $59 discount for A/C service. The technician told me that my A/C was old and near the end of its useful life. He said the inside unit needed to be replaced $3500. The other option recommended was an entire A/C system replacement $10,000 to $15,000. I WAS NEARLY RIPPED OFF. The Cool Tech Technician (321-837-3531) informed me that my A/C System was manufactured in 2016 and likely installed in 2017. He charged me $65 for the complete job.

They had used Jay's for a repair on their system a few months ago and were very happy with their work. We called them to check ours out and Edgar stopped by the next day to advise us of a solution. After looking at the equipment and finding that it was 16 years old and a definite Freon leak was visible he said any repair made would only be a temporary fix and it would fail again. The only question was when . We then discussed replacement options . Jay's gave us an estimate on 3 different systems that they thought was the best fit for us. We chose a Comfortmaker 2 stage system with a heat pump. A few days later Jay's arrived with all the equipment and installed it in about 7 hours. That's a big job but Cory, Wyatt and Hayden did a great job with the installation. They were very professional and courteous. They answered all of our questions that came up during the install. Edgar also stopped by and did a fogging procedure because we had told him that we could smell cigarettes through out the house at times. He said that this would help neutralize any nicotine residue that might be in the ductwork. It really seems to have helped with this problem. They installed the system when the house was built, a little over 20 years ago. He was familar with my community. To my luck, it was a simple fix by adjusting all the vents. The vent closest to the thermostat was blowing on the thermostat, which was causing the system to shut off prematurely. He went around my house and adjusted all of my vents.
