I was recently admitted to Melbourne Hospital via the emergency room on 6/13/26 thru 6/19/26. The nurses, CNAs/techs, mid level providers and physician were all excellent, caring, attentive & compassionate. Everyone was extremely patient despite my numerous questions & concerns. I'd like to recognize everyone that took care of me and apologize if I've left anyone off of this list. Thank you to the following staff for your kind, attentive care during a very stressful time for me: *** Kal RN, *** Lauren (LJ) RN, *** Yaneisy (YR) RN, *** Ingris (IM) RN, *** Danielle (DL) RN, *** Snrha (SJ) RN-Nurse Leader, *** Patience (PP) RN, *** Samantha (SK) RN, *** Lauren (LT) RN *** Gina (GG) RN *** Mia (MT) CNA, *** Andrea (AP) Tech, *** Tara (TB) CNA, *** Britt (BW) Tech, *** Andrea (AP) Tech *** Ashley (AO) Care Manager, *** Brandon (BC) Care Manager *** Pharmacist that helped me resolve medication questions on my day of discharge. I forgot her name but not her help & patience. Also to all the Dr's & Nurse Practitioners that took care of me. I cannot sing y'alls praises enough and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your care & attention. I'm planning to return (hopefully) sooner than later to get my cardiac ablation!

There is one thing i look for in a doctor... patience. I want to be able to ask a lot of questions. I want my doctor to take time with me and not feel rushed out the door. I want to feel confident the doctor wants to "get to the bottom of the things" with a sincere attitude. This is how Dr Thaver seemed to me. We didn't do any tests in this visit. We just discussed my various issues and made a plan for the future. I cant wait to come back! I never dreamed i would look forward to seeing a doctor again :) Edit: I added this business to yelp and copy-pasted my review from yesterday to make sure it is connected to the location in Melbourne, Florida.

If you want any medical care, don't go here! Not one person cares about the patient…read more They charge you for "extra" fees that they don't disclose, and your insurance company doesn't pay. The billing department will harass you for the money. I paid the $200.00 and contacted my insurance company, which told me that the billing department had coded the charge incorrectly and that my insurance had sent a check to Suntree for the amount. I had the check # and proof that it had been cashed, which I sent to Suntree. I was told that it had not been posted yet! Now Suntree had $400.00 in their pocket, and trust me, it was a hassle to get MY MONEY back! Finally, after calling several times, I was credited on my card. 2 weeks later, I received the same $200.00 bill, stating it was overdue! I have also had to wait for over 24 hours for a prescription to be sent to CVS! If you call and ask where the prescription is, they first tell you that they are TOO BUSY at the moment to send it in. The second time you call, they tell you that the Dr has not given the prescription list. This is 4 1/2 hours after your appointment. It was a Saturday, and Suntree closed at 2:00 PM, while CVS closed at 6:00 PM. Called CVS at 5:30, and nothing had been sent in! Called first thing Sunday morning and was told they were working on it! Waiting more than 24 hours for a prescription is unacceptable! Beware of Suntree Internal Medicine. Terrible practice!

I believe the behavior that was also described in other reviews maybe an indication the DR A is a low skilled quack. I will try to find a rheumatologist in Orlando or Melbourne. Dr A you're fired.

My daughter has been very sick for a Long time now, She was finally sent to a "Specialist" So we could find out what is wrong with my daughter, I was so excited we were heading in the right direction. But this Doctor DR. MOHAMED M. ABOYOUSSEF, is the WORST Doctor, I have ever experienced in my Life. (HE HAS WORST BEDSIDE MANNER) Here is a little story of my Young Daughter's experience today. We were unlistened to, cut off, and Dismissed, which Made us feel like we were a burden to him. he told me, thanks for coming but she is an Adult and I had no need to basically be there. But my daughter is 19, I am still paying for her healthcare and still taking care of her. Until she is Doing all of that on her own I feel, I have every right to be there to make sure she is getting treated right and the best care she can get. I am glad I did go with her today like she wanted me to. but top it all off, He told us if we did not do what he wanted her to do he would not provide his services, and Would not give her the help she needs. Like he was GOD! I would STAY CLEAR OF THIS DOCTOR, VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL! He has a god complex, NO Competition, and is VERY dismissive!

I spent a couple of weeks in a hospital in Georgia, and the care here is a hundred times better. I can't say enough about the doctors, nurses, and even the food service workers. I would absolutely come here again.

Cape Canaveral Hospital was built to take care of NASA's space workers during the Mercury program…read morein 1962. It has been expanded over the years to 150 beds and has grown with the community. The environmentalists refused to allow expansion because filling in the one foot deep water around the hospital would affect the sea grass that the manatees eat (despite the fact that the manatees cannot swim in one foot of water). A new and smaller hospital is currently being built on Merritt Island. CCH has a nickname of "Cape Catastrophe". The hospital has an uneven reputation. As a former RN clinical supervisor and acting hospital administrator for a 400-bed hospital in Massachusetts, I have some experience regarding hospitals. I have also worked in an Emergency Trauma Center. The CCH building is old, as are several hospitals in the Boston area. But, old CAN be clean and serviceable. The key to any hospital is the staff and how they are managed, trained, and treated. There are some less than desirable MD's and nursing staff while the great majority do a good job and are professional. However, it is always the bad experiences that stick out. Some basic issues are that most staff have their badges turned so you cannot see their ID, photo or name. Most wear scrubs so you cannot tell the difference between the janitorial staff and medical staff or what they are supposed to be doing there. Most staff do not introduce themselves or tell the patient why they are there or what they will be doing. That is one of the first things students are supposed to learn. The staff is very casual in attitude and do not display the usual expected professionalism in manner, attention to their uniforms, or equipment. I was in the ER with a client as a patient advocate. The patient had continuous uncontrolled bleeding from a procedure two weeks earlier. After a cursory exam and some tests, the staff shrugged their shoulders and said IDK why there is bleeding. "We called her treating doctor who did the procedure and she said to make an appointment in 6 weeks". The patient was sent home only to go the ER at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne 25 miles away a day later. She was admitted. The nursing care has been good and professional. However, the hospital does not have a regular urologist that works with the hospital and the MD called in privately does not take Health First insurance. At least she is being treated. It is sad that a patient needs a professional advocate to navigate the local healthcare system for basic care. Florida has moved up in its statewide healthcare rating from 48th out of 50 to 42nd beating out Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. That rating is an average that includes the award-winning Mayo Clinic, UF medical school, Advent Health, Shands, Tampa General, Cleveland Clinic, and Baptist Health Hospitals. Central Brevard on the mainland lost Rockledge Regional Hospital due to raw sewerage backup, bat guano from 10,000 bats living inside the building, and other issues so residents must choose between traveling a distance to CCH or Holmes. Ask questions. It is about YOUR life. You are entitled to the information if you are a patient, medical surrogate or professional advocate. Be polite and persistent to get the information you need to make a truly informed decision. The best action is to remain healthy.

The hospital on Gateway is slightly better so you may retain a bit more of your sanity by going there instead. What you first notice, when you walk in, is the security. If you expected to get to your appointment early or on time, forget about it. They wanded me with a wand that could not detect metal. Brilliant. How do I know this? Because their supervisor came over and waved it over his gun and it didn't chime. They continued using it even after I was let through three minutes later. When I get to Radiology - the place where my appointment is - they tell me I need to check in at a different place in the building. Again, if you're expecting to get to your appointment early or on time, forget it. I go all the way to where I'm supposed to check in, get checked in, then walk back to Radiology after my appointment time. Even after showing back up to the Radiology department after my appointment time, I still had to wait for a while until I got called back. The only saving grace for that star is that the tech who performed the procedure was very pleasant and efficient. Do NOT go here if you can help it
