BUYER BEWARE: I don't post a lot of reviews, but I couldn't help posting about this life changing experience. Please don't kill me with kindness while charging me $3,000 plus for products and services that failed to yield standard results. My cheekbones were damaged, my face was badly bruised, and the sagging skin on my neck and jowls worsened after treatment. I have been receiving anti-aging treatments for years, and this is undoubtedly the worst decision that I have made. For practitioners and recipients who are not aware, there is a specific diagram for each problem area when injecting fillers. I would greatly appreciate it if you did not insult my intelligence by telling me that I have to put on makeup to see the results, and when I mentioned my previous experiences, your answer was, "Some people do not mesh together." Please acquaint yourself with the facial diagram before this company ends up with a lawsuit. This company is in total denial. The owners have chosen to have a stand-off with their customers rather than rectify the problems. These negative reviews and unsolved issues will only lead to more stringent regulations of med spas. I had great results with the Cool Sculpting (Karin was the RN who did the treatment.) Everyone was was professional.

What made my RF microneedling package experience here so bizarrely disappointing: -Machine had issues with the grounding pad during my 1st and 2nd treatment -Machine broke before my 3rd, so I had to reschedule (supposedly just the touchpad) -Then staff member that did my 1st/ 2nd treatments was let go -When new staff does 3rd treatment, I can easily spot the change in procedure (in my 1st/2nd treatment she washed face, this time no washing, they state they are using alcohol instead) -I asked if that is why she is gone, they say that has nothing to with it (if you don't use alcohol before needles you can get an infection, and I'd assume this happened to someone else since they deceptively said each person "does it their own way", when the manufacturer makes it very clear alcohol is required) -I mentioned after 2nd treatment that the semi-insulated tip used actually made my acne scars look worse, and I didn't heal as well (friends noticed how much worse scars looked too). Instead of having an educated conversation on how that tip might not be a good fit for my skin type or how we could improve treatments, I was shown my before and after photos put into a pic collage app and told, no your face looks better... the after photo was brightened (which creates a soft blur) so much that my eye color changed from medium blue to sparkling ice blue several shades lighter!! The co-owner Karin came in to say it's just different room light, I point out that I am familiar with the app they used and know that my eyes/skin looks like that when the brightness is turned up to around 80%. -All I wanted honesty regarding my treatment. Before going I checked that for positive reviews, but now looking at the negative ones, I see them responding to each stating how it was either the patients fault or you didn't go here. I should have paid attention to that red flag. A deflect and deny attitude is the same way I was treated in person. It is so much more credible to admit not all treatments work for everyone. read more

The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I am headed to my fourth visit today and am so excited to go and see all of the girls. I have had some Botox and fillers performed by Michelle and she is a rock star. She is honest, shares her personal experience with some of her favorite products and always makes sue I am comfortable. She is incredibly disarming and personable, so much so that my nickname for her is "best friend". I have been to both locations, also, and they are both just as accommodating and professional. read more

If you like showing up to a scheduled & confirmed appointment only to arrive and find out the aesthetician Isn't in the office and has no knowledge of your appointment, then this is the place for you. I spoke to someone on the phone twice, filled out online paperwork and confirmed the appointment via text. However when I arrived for my first appointment with them they "don't know what happened ". They are more concerned with liability than aggressive hormone treatment. I wasted my time and money on continuing a treatment I had been under for well over 2 years. Only went to them because my practitioner changed practices. I didn't want anything new or different from them but they convinced me to go to pellets and would not continue my tadalfil rx...and found an excuse not to fill the pellets when that was what they convinced me to take. I had 3 medical health practitioners prior to this over the past 5 years and none of them ever mentioned danger or liability and that was just about the 1st words out of their mouths to me. Very disappointed. Once again a waste of time and money. There is much better to be had out there. I know because I have had it. read more

I think what you did with your response was collaborated a bunch of previous patients bad experience there and came up with one story. You don't even know who I am and should've started with can I have your name please?? Or something like sorry for the experience we are here to satisfy our customers and reviews like this is not something we take lightly etc etc ... but you just went on attack mode!!! Like I stated in my first review worse place ever, Worse experience ever!!! And it starts with you (owner) I give your place a few more months only (out of business for sure) because a good quality establishment starts with great customer service which your business lacks 100%. My advise to you is take the criticism and make better of your business with it! Please save your time and book any where else. First time around I got a call that I won a raffle $250 to use toward any service, called made appt for laser skin tightening, showed up to my appt. and was left waiting in the waiting area for 40 minutes, the owner showed up late and than asked why I was there I proceeded to tell her I've been waiting for 40 minutes to have my laser skin tightening she than told me that's done by the specialist and she wasn't in, Than told me to wait, came back and said the machine is broken and needed a new cable. Are you kidding me! I was already upset but tried to hold my tamper. She said well I'll give you a tour of spa (it's tiny I can see everything from the waiting area) after took me to her office and proceeded to try to sell me on other stuff like laser hair removal and blah blah I went along because I didn't want to be rude but I was boiling inside. She said well don't leave without doing any service today I kinda took a deep breath and was like well what can I do and she said try the freeze therapy so I did and that was ok. Well today decided to give this place another go , called to schedule the radio frequency skin tightening lady at the desk said u need to come In for a consult I'm like I don't need a consult I know about it had it done in many other places before just schedule me she was SOOO rude and said we need to see you medical records first and run full evaluation I'm like wtf are u talking about?? I never heard that in my life and have gone to multiple medical spas and plastic surgeons for treatments. She said I'm wasting her time. Again WTF!!!?? This place is the biggest joke and will close down very soon, I imagine 2 out of 3 ppl that walk in there will never return. It appears I am old enough to qualify for botox. I google mapped med spa and The Refinery appeared nearby. I filled out web info request on their nice website, they called me back within 24 hours and set up a free consult. I never have been vain or prissy, but with a new job, i didnt want my clients to think i was frowning at them. Today was the first day of the rest of my life investing in myself. I will continue with this business because they are professionals, kind, knowledgeable and affordable. My platinum hydrofacial was well worth platinum status. The botox inj. wasnt terrible and i felt in competent hands. I bared all my imperfections to these ladies and they cared, treated, and coached me through the process of taking off 10 years today. Definitely do not recommend and will never go back! Had an absolutely terrible experience with Karen, who I know is the Co-Owner of this spa, so I decided to reach out to the other owner about all of the issues I had with my service and her professionalism. I did not want it to be awkward so I let him know in the beginning of our conversation that I knew she was his wife. I could not believe how unprofessional he was too! Not only did she lie to him about multiple things, but he clearly believed her over me. Our conversation came with no resolution and for that I decided I should leave a review. She got acid in my ears , all down my neck (on my clothes) in my eye and my mouth. She left her cell phone on loud during my treatment so I heard every call / text. She also never let me see my face afterwards and just kept telling me "your skin looks great". She couldn't explain anything to me in detail and clearly was not properly trained. I was told about this Medspa by a friend that had a wonderful experience. Without a doubt this place is like no other in town. They care to know you as a person and recommend what is best for the goals you are wanting to achieve. Amber gave me an amazing HydraFacial that was a real life changer. I saw results that I've never seen with regular facials even after doing them monthly, you can't even compare. So happy this place opened. I have been using the cryotherapy room on a weekly basis to help with recovery from exercise as well as some aches and pains. The staff is always polite and eager to assist. Making an appointment has been easy as well with them even fitting me in on last minute requests. Cryotherapy is the way to go for anyone doing any type of exercise or just need to get rid of inflammation. I am going to try some of the other services as well. read more
