**OVERALL REVIEW** The Melbourne/Palm Bay area has its fair share of legitimate spas for rest and relaxation. However pertaining to such, if you want a unique experience that is sure to make you feel relaxed and energized in a different way, then I have to stress the salt cave, specifically the Halo Salt Cave. Opening back in 2019, the Halo Salt Cave (which I will shorthand simply to Halo for the remainder of this review) has served the people with a more traditional or holistic approach to rest and relaxation. Halo provides three services: 45-minutes relaxation in their Himilayan salt cave, ionic foot bath, infrared light therapy either as a sauna or a tanning booth. The service I partook in the three times I been here is the salt cave itself, once on my own, once with my friend Tiffany, and the most-recent one with my mom. According to the employees there, the preperation for either service is generally the same. You take off your shoes and are given booties. Shoes are put in baskets under the benches in the prep areas. Personal belongings are put in lockers in which you hold onto the key. There is a little bit more prep for the foot spa and infrared therapy, but for the salt cave, they give you a choice of a light or thick blanket and you go into the cave. Take note the cave is technically a room that was designed to look like a darkened cave in the himilayas lit with candles. The floor has clusters of Himilayan salt. The ceiling looks like a starry night. There are eight recliners in the room just perpendicular to the door, four on one side and four on the other. Get adjusted into one of the recliners and put on the blanket on yourself to your desired comfort level. An employee will come back and place a dry towel behind your head on the chair and a warm damp towel behind your neck. There is a pair of headphones to your right if you want an amplified sound experience of ocean waves and humming. It is not necessary as the cave will play the same thing as on the headphones, but they are there just in case. After 45 minutes, the employee will let you know the session is done. They will need you to exit as they need to clean and sanitize the cave for the next session. There is also a sales floor area selling Himilayan salt lights, salt accessories, cooking salt slabs, soup, lotions, and much more. I personally like the soaps. On a sidenote, there are two single-serving restrooms that are clean and stocked. Both are unisex so no issue about waiting in line to use the toilet. But to be fair, this place is not exactly Disneyworld when it comes to activity. The only detail that could be an issue are the prices. The Halo Salt Cave itself is $35 per session. The other services are more expensive. For what you get, the pricetag can stack. Ultimately, I am going to give the Halo Salt Cave a perfect score of five-out-of-five stars. The service, the experience, and the prices - for what they are - are excellent across the board. I would definitely suggest this place for an alternative holistic approach to relaxation. read more

My wife's acupuncturist recommended this place to her. I held her hand and went in with her. The relaxing nap in the salt cave was very relaxing. Then we soaked our feet and detoxified our selves. Sat in the infrared sauna for 10 minutes. Stepped out, toweled off, got dressed and called it a day. Jessica, Hope & Gianna made us feel very welcome, cared for and well attended to. This is a fun afternoon and something unique to try. They have other services but we went for the salt cave. It's a 45 minute session of relaxation in a totally enclosed Himalayan salt "cave". You relax in a cool room with cozy blankets. They play Zen music with Ocean Sounds and it's very calming. My friend fell sleep halfway through but I tried to do some breathing exercises to intake as much salt for my sinus issues. read more

I went for a visit last week. I enjoyed the salt cave, great concept! I couldn't relax because the music was horrible and not very relaxing. It was way too cold in the cave, some people requested 2 blankets. I mentioned to the young gal when I was paying. She didn't say one word to me! Not even an apology. I went because it was a gift. The woman on the phone was having a side conversation while I was asking her a question and then was short and condescending in her answer. A must when you come through town! As soon as you walk in the shop the energy, aroma, and beauty of this place hits you- in a good way. The salt cave is so relaxing and peaceful. You sit in a zero gravity chair and they give you a blanket and heated salt balls to hold while you rest/meditate/chillax for an hour. For $25, it's a great deal for self care. I can't wait to go back and try the infrared therapy and foot spa that they there. I bought some soaps there too and they wrapped them up so lovely as souvenirs gifts. Sadly, they are not kid friendly unless you rent a whole room for 99.00 a session. :( It would be wonderful to see a kids session so parents could afford treatment for their children. The service does wonders for my son. Salt room in Orlando has a kids room but it is sooo far. read more

This place is the most Customer UN-Friendly Salt Therapy place I've been to! When I called to make an appointment, they just were insistent that I had to get there 15 mins early to do paperwork, get on Booties over my shoes, etc. I was told I could NOT re-enter the toom if I had to step out to use the Bathroom or even if the Salt triggered a Cough and I didn't want to annoy any other people in the room. They also said over the phone that "Cash Tips" are Appreciated.... What??? The $29.00 I'm paying for a 45 min session where I'm NOR getting a Massage. I'm just sitting in a chair and they're just flipping a switch to turn on the Salt Machine- that's Chuzspa!! When I arrived- they informed me I couldn't take my phone into the room.... I understand if the screen needs to be dimmed, ringer off, and no conversations.... But I asked- I can't even listen to my OWN music?? "NOPE".. I just said "Peace" and I bounced! Well.. at first I admit I was a bit skeptical about the whole concept of sitting in a cave to breathe in salt would produce health benefits. I was wrong. It was an absolutely incredible experience! My friend and I had decided to come here after a day of skating to unwind and relax for the end of the week -- a fantastic decision. We did a Cave and an ionic foot session which did not disappoint. Very relaxing in the cave and without noticing you even fall sleep! The foot bath was the most eye opening activity I've ever partaken in. It's designed to release toxins in your body and it even shows at the end exactly what was released and from where. You have to treat yourself every now and then and you also have to observe what your body is telling you! Salt cave was more relaxing this time as I knew what to expect going in I did nod off for a few minutes during the session. The Sauna was a 30 minute session at 140f yes that's right 140 degrees. For those who don't know me when I get hot I SWEAT buckets. I didn't experience that here, 20 minutes in and I began to perspire, which I never do as said before I SWEAT. I emerged from the sauna with my lower back ache tremendously less achy. I would HIGHLY recommend to all to try a session for the relaxation with healthy benefits. Already booked my next session. I had the most amazing experience at Halo Salt Cave. It was my first time trying a Salt Cave and unfortunately I had to try it out with my crutches. I'm from Long Island and was down in Florida for my Dad's funeral where I also tore my MCL. I made sure I hobbled my way over to the Halo Salt Cave to give it a shot before I flew home! A truly relaxing and clean ambiance, great staff, and lots of awesome products. The salt cave itself showed its benefits when I was able to get up from the antigravity chair so easily and my knee immediately felt less pressure and pain. It is chilly in there (even coming from a New Yorker) so definitely wear warm loose clothing. They give you a blanket and heated salt balls to help stay warm. They provide you with a locker/key for your personal belongings since nothing is allowed in the cave. I left feeling so refreshed and I even made some new friends.
