With a recent change in directors there was a high turn over in teachers without notice. Giving 2 stars because there were some teachers we liked, and then they would leave to go to other centers. There was even a period through the summer where the Pre-K classroom has no AC for almost 2 weeks, and the temperature was sometimes over 75 degrees. The staff had no ETA on would it would be fixed. If your child has any special needs, the are centers in the area that cost more, but will accommodate. This center explicitly told us they were not "equipped" to deal with any special needs and that it was not a good fit. I agreed, it was not a good fit. We are now at Kids R Kids and are very happy.

Morrisville Creative Schools has gone downhill since we first started and I believe management (new…read moreDirector) has a lot to do with it! I can count on one hand how many times she spoke to us in the approx 1.5 years we attended. There was one particular instance where I felt the school cared more about themselves than my child. My daughter was in the Director's office with her teacher when she fell off a chair (I still don't know the truth about what actually happened) but that wasn't my biggest concern because she was okay. The issue was that the write up by the Director was initially one scribbled sentence I could barely read. I was angered and offended all at once. I never saw the Director so I passed on a message to have the incident report re written. Long story short, I had to send it back two more times before I received a copy that was the "truth" of my daughters fall. Now that my kids are no longer there, I am sharing this message to show that there is a lack of honesty and respect at Morrisville Creative Schools. I can attest to the other comment about the temperature in the one year old classroom because there were several days where the room was muggy and warm during drop off. There was ONE teacher that kept us at MCS who is headed out. She was absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!! My 3 year old was sounding out words and felt confident about reading. She incorporated "show and tell" so that the kids would be comfortable speaking in front of an audience. I can't speak enough about her! The turn over rate for kids and staff is increasing and I have no doubt that management plays a part in this. There needs to be some kind of training to help this school. Lastly, the cameras are a great asset. However, the system didn't work for us when we had a concern. We sat in the office with the Director for 1.5hrs for NOTHING because the records were not accurate and the cameras will only pick up 7 day's worth of footage (which includes weekends). I asked the owner to increase the amount of time of retrieval but I was not made aware that it was actually done. Good luck with this one!

He has a team of staff working for him and with my husband and myself to meet his needs. My son has his own weekly therapy sessions as part of his support within the school, as do my husband and myself so that we are all aligned for his care and needs. The teachers have been creative and supportive of him throughout his time at Lucy Daniels. Throughout his entire time at the school the focus has been on meeting his needs where he is at, while giving him the opportunities to grow. I was honestly so surprised by some of the other reviews I've read here. We have relied on the support Lucy Daniels has provided us and our son for years and I really don't think he would have thrived as much as he has without Lucy Daniels.

I strongly urge you to do your research, get more than one opinion, read reviews on local Facebook groups, and listen to your gut before deciding to enroll your child into this school. Dr. Rosenblitt (who is a founder of LDC), deemed my 3 year old as having a severe mental illness after only taking a family history and observing my son playing with legos for 20 minutes. Without any hesitation, he told my husband and I that we should take it as seriously as though we just received a diagnosis of leukemia. We were strongly encouraged to enroll our son into their "therapeutic" school as the only way to preserve his development. We were promised a clinical team that would work hand in hand with us and the teacher to help our son thrive in a social setting and to better cope at home. Unfortunately, the school failed to deliver on all of the promises they made to us. The lead psychiatrist who was assigned to my child and in charge of the care plan, Dr. Kunaparaju, never my son in the month he was enrolled at the school. She also never read his history before our first meeting and didn't know who he was or why he was at the school. On top of that, there was no care plan or goals or any type of formal assessment that the "team" was working from. When my husband or I would press for answers to our concerns, we ping ponged between the psychiatrist, the Educational Director (Jen Reid, who is not clinical), or the lead teacher (also not clinical) - none of whom ever gave us a straight answer. We were told their approach was reflective and that we need to start getting our minds around the fact that there is nothing we could do for our son other than to try and maintain. Unwilling to accept that as an answer, I received second and third opinions and have learned just how incorrectly they diagnosed him and how inappropriate it was for them to tell us he has a severe mental illness without any sort of formal assessment or diagnostic testing. Separately, this school is completely unsafe under their current operations. Classrooms are chaotic and teachers are inexperienced and/or in over their heads. There is no protocol for backup support where there is a student demonstrating unsafe behavior. All classes simply rely on a single person (the Education Director) to come and fill in if needed. Parents and children go freely between the classroom and the main hallway with low to no oversight. Worst of all, there were several instances where the only adults present with the students were parents because the teachers were too overwhelmed with a situation going on with another student! Additionally, the classroom is not structured for pre-k kids; even with a stool they can't even reach the sink or the soap dispenser. And while they pointed to COVID as the reason behind the delay of their new playground, there was not a single age appropriate toy available in their outdoor space. My child resorted to filling an empty bucket with mulch. Worst of all, children were made and expected to play and eat outside when the heat index was above 90. Thankfully I was there on those days and was able to bring my son inside. There was another little girl that asked to go inside because it was too hot and she was told no. As a parent who stayed with my child for 3hrs a day, every single day that he was there (they failed to help me with a transition plan), the situations I witnessed were appalling. This school was very quick to take our money and then didn't support us in any of the ways they had promised. This was truly a heartbreaking experience I hope no other parent has to go through. Please learn from our costly mistake and avoid this school.

Honestly, if I didn't see the video of said child abuse I wouldn't have believed it. That teacher/floater was in most rooms including both of my kids' rooms. That teacher babysat a lot of families (even though that's not allowed) and even attended kid's birthday parties. Our kids' safe place was no longer safe. Downhill quality since we started in 2021. Leadership changed to an inexperienced under qualified people. Teacher turnover was insane which unfortunately is common in this industry and probably area. Leadership talked badly about parents to teachers. Leadership made teachers come in even if they were sick with the flu or other contagious illness. Not only was my kids' safety and health compromised but the curriculum was lacking. It was subpar babysitting. The last days I'd walk into one of my kid's room and it felt like a cartoon with paper airplanes flying across the room and kids not listening. One of my kids was bit multiple times in the 3 year old room and even 4 year old room. Discipline was lacking from teachers (and parents) Not sure how the franchise backs this location with pretty serious issues.

No empathy, fake professional & you can tell all the teachers are burnt out & underpaid from working there. Teachers yelling at kids, isolating children & antagonizing them due to their lack of training. I worked in childcare 10+ years before having children.
