Wow. My home sparkles! My husband called S&S because he knew I would not call because "no one can do it like I can!" Well was I surprised--not only did it smell clean but it was clean. Two women who wasted no time got right in and started even before I finished telling them my bugaboos. I have light grey carpeting and I asked that street shoes not be worn in my house. I thought that would be a deal breaker, but oh no. They came prepared with inside shoes. Cool. They were respectful of my home, my things and did not let my cat escape! Worst cleaning service I have ever used. I had to clean the entire house after she left. There were crumbs left all over the kitchen table. My usual cleaning lady spends 4-5 hours and this lady was done in 1.5 hours. If you're think about her - don't! read more

Great job!!! I didn't let the cleaner into my apartment -- she was locked out -- so she just sat on my steps and waited. God, I felt really bad!! I thought she was going to revenge me through the cleaning, but NOPE. she got in there and worked for hours without stopping. Started in the bathroom and went the furthest anyone has toward banishing the permanent-ish black mold around the tub (yes, it is gross. No it is not my fault. There is internal leaking behind the tiles.) make no mistake -- their special is also a great deal. I have a HUGE apartment and sometimes it helps to take a break from the maintenance. Last but not least, Sparkle and Shine dove in to take out my trash (ALL of it, various tiny recycling loads included), did my dishes, started my dishwasher, AND let themselves out. I appreciated how proactive it was. Next time, I'm going to request a few specific things I need help deep cleaning, like my stove and fridge. Yep, I will be hiring them again. I am so happy to have found Elizabeth. I was really stressed when my mom got sick and couldn't keep up with her home. I didn't know where to start to clean and prepare for her to come home from the hospital. I was an emotional wreck and Embarrassed by the shape of the home. I called Sparkle and Shine and explained my situation and on a last minute notice Elizabeth came out. Elizabeth was so kind and professional. Her work is very detailed and when she finished I was amazed at how much newer and fresher the place was. I've used bigger chains for cleaning and trust me they have their set amount of time to spend and are not nearly as detailed. Second review after many years of service, Elizabeth is amazing and I would highly recommend her! The reason for my updated review is because I recently had a friend go into the hospital for a terribly traumatic reason and I wanted to do something extra special for her.....so I had Elizabeth come over and do an initial cleaning. Don't want to give too many details but this person has multiple animals and doesn't prioritize cleaning..... Elizabeth was the upmost professional and made this place (that probably hadn't been deep cleaned in many, many years) look amazing. I only wish that I would have thought to take before and after pictures as the transformation was close to miraculous! Not only was the job done exceedingly well but she remained a top-notch professional through it all (and let's just say there were signs of said animals throughout the place). Well I see everyone else has great reviews which is why I choose her in the first place . But unfortunately my experience was not as pleasant. She arrived on time, which is a good thing. She wasn't thorough at all. My floors still are not as clean as they could've been. I had to ask her to re-mop my upstairs floors. Also she didn't move my couches downstairs to sweep under them!! I mean really ?!! Who does that ?! My floors downstairs aren't even mopped ! I paid $220 for a deep cleaning and am extremely disappointed. I don't mind paying for quality work. I will not use her services again. And I was pregnant btw so I did not have any boxes that I dropped on the floor. So I am unsure what you are referring to . read more
