Myself and my family has been patrons of this carwash for longer than I can remember. Never had a problem. As a matter of fact I have always been pleased. Today I took my truck in and it came out with a busted passenger mirror. What is assume was the manager, came over and said he couldn't help me. I didn't even realize what he was talking about. Turns out the side mirror must have been flipped into the truck when going thru and busted the mirror. Manage said because there were scratches on the back side of the housing he couldn't help me. There are plenty of scratches on my truck. But it wasn't busted going in. The manager acted like I wanted him to fix every scratch. Left with a truck that wasn't properly cleaned inside because we were standing there talking and no one was cleaninh and a busted mirror of course. read more

Timely service. That's the reason for the 3rd star. I asked the cashier/attendant about the bugs left on my grill and he seemed to be annoyed as he wiped them off. I get in my vehicle to the same fingerprints that were there before service as well as easily removable yogurt drop that my 5 years old dropped yesterday. I paid $59.99 for the ultimate wash but can say that I was disappointed with the actual detail portion and lack of willingness to pay attention to details while wiping everything down. I hope in the future they will make an effort to be meticulous when someone is paying for an inside detail of their vehicle. The rest of the staff was friendly. In the area and needing a car wash with vacuuming included, my husband told me to take a turn into Sparkle Brite. It's been part of the St Matthews neighborhood for a long time, but with businesses building around it, one might not realize it's there. We had already moved anything in our seats and side doors to the trunk. This made it easier to pull up, decide on the service we wanted and hand over my keys. The team started with a thorough vacuum and then put my car on the line for a wash. Like a kid I watched my car through the window and snapped shots! Paid at the counter, sat outside while the team dried it and wiped down the interior, tipped and pulled up to the light for Shelbyville Rd. No complaints, fast service, car looked and smelled great. (This is going to sound like a commercial, but then again I'm reviewing a car wash.) When Louisville roads and weather take the shine off of your car, you head to local a car wash clean the outside of your car, but every once in a while you want to treat your care nicely. There's the car wash that has the hose and wand and requires you to do all the work. Then there's the one that you drive into, put your car in Park, and a machine glides back and forth leaves your mirrors spotted and your back end only marginally cleaner. When I want to treat my car well and with respect, I head to Sparkle Brite. Sparkle Bright treats your car with care and respect, cleaning literally everything you can see without opening the hood. I highly advise against this location. They do not participate in the sparkle bright fast pass that I pay a monthly fee for to receive up to 10 washes like the locations off Chenoweth Ln and Pamela Rae Dr do. Took 4 employees in all of their apparent confusion to come over to look at my pass with their company name on it to tell me they didn't take it and that it would be $22 for their basic exterior wash. I really like this car wash. The vacuum staff is friendly when they great you and "take your order". The inside of the building is always clean and checkout is quick. You can pay with debit/credit cards but they can't add a tip for the workers that way so you have to remember to bring cash. You can use the Clover app to get coupons for the wash price (easy to use at the register) or look on the back of your local Kroger receipts for coupons too! They move quickly here and do a great job. read more

I took my wife's vehicle in for a full clean on Valentine's Day. I got the highest level wash, and I was pretty impressed. Very clean with only some minor glass streaks. A supervisor even came over for a spot check, and had staff touch up some missed spots on the wheels. Not sure on the experiences of the other reviews here. All I can say is I got all of my clutter out of the way to make cleaning easier, and my wife was pretty happy with the gift. read more

My husband took my jeep and his truck there this Sunday. They missed all kind of spots on my jeep. The really "funny" part of my husbands wash was that he paid for wheel shine. They did ONE tire. There was no problem with the #3 car wash I paid for however, When I got in my car to leave, I noticed all four mats for my car were missing. I asked the last guy I saw in my car when they were finished, where are my mats? He said, no mats were in the car when it came out of the tunnel. I then went back into the cashier area and said the mats were gone, and he said #3 does not include cleaning mats. I said I understood that, but there were mats there all along. The Standard mats that came with the car. He said they did not remove mats. I said I never remove the mats. I have been coming here for years for all of my car washes, and this is first time the mats are gone. He didn't even offer to go in the back to look and see if the mats had been taken out by mistake. I am very upset that I got this kind of service response from them. I will not use this establishment again..Unless they find my mats and apologize. read more

I brought my car in for a simple wash. I have a head-up-display mounted on the dash. When I got out of the car, so they could take it and wash it. The display was working perfectly. When I got back in, after they were done, it was completely dead. I went in to the office and they took my name and number and told me I would get a call on Monday. No call came. I went in and talked to man who said he was a manager. He was rude and told me that they wouldn't have done anything to break it. I told him again that it worked when came in and not when they were done. He simply said no and walked a way. Obviously, he didn't care about the customer or the business. There are a lot of car washes in this area. Why take your car to one that doesn't care and can't be trusted? I won't go there again. read more

I have to say that usually they do a really good job on the inside of my car and the outside always comes out looking great. BUT last time they glossed over the interior and I was disappointed. I know most people are probably more concerned with the exterior, but I transport little boys with muddy shoes and sticky fingers and the inside matters to me. I went by to complain that same week, but the weather was poor and they were closed. I was on the fence about going back because I hate to complain about something long after the fact, but I gave them another chance and let the cashier know about my previous experience. They comped my wash and flagged my car for the crew to give it better attention and they did. I recently made my first visit here when I just needed an exterior wash. A couple of attendants sprayed down my car and got the hubcaps rinsed and bright. Once in neutral, my car traveled with me inside down the line through the car wash. About two minutes later, it was outside of the wash and being dried by a swarm of workers. Compared to other places with similar service (and -- unfortunately -- there isn't a glut of them to choose from), I thought that this place was priced slightly less competitively. Its location is only somewhat convenient and can be difficult to get to where it is situated on Shelbyville Rd. I also didn't like paying at the end instead of the beginning; I was ready to zip off in my shiny car and instead had to trundle up to the register and wait behind a few people, which felt like something of a hassle. read more

I'm not sure what happened to this place. Growing up in the 80's my dad always made sure they cleaned the door-jams, which they always did without prompting. He's been a weekly visitor for 30 years. My recent visits have been quite the contrary. $35 to clean a van or SUV, which doesn't even include wiping down floor mats. The attention to detail is poor. I live out of town and I am here for our mother, who has had a stroke. My older sister had a 75th birthday while I am here and I decided to take her car and get it cleaned inside and out. I paid $29.99 for the Superior Wash and also purchased $20 more on merchandise inside the building. When I first checked her car after they finished cleaning I was literally SHOCKED and thoroughly P.O.'d. There was soap on the backseat, floor mats had not been cleaned and the wipe down was horrible. I could have done a better job and I am 70 years old. I went inside and asked for the manager. He came out and said we are hot, tired and had a long day. I said so have I. (Because I've been in a hospital all day.) He said don't worry we will take care of it. Well, they didn't, another wipe or two, but I couldn't stay. Now I'm disappointed that I didn't ask or search the web to find a better car wash. My advice? Don't go there because they are HOT, TIRED and HAD a LONG DAY. read more

I went here for my second time today. The first time I went, my car came out clean. This time, I got the full package. The outside looks clean. The inside was still dirty. The doors weren't wiped down, there was still dirt and gunk all over the center console. It had hardly been vacuumed. It's like they didn't even try. I went back inside to politely tell them my car was still messy. The lady at the desk was nice. She told me to ask for Scott and that he would help me out. Scott was helpful, and then told me to drive back around for them to re-vacuum the car. Once I got back to the vacuums, the gentleman vacuuming my car just complained and mouthed off to me the entire time, and acted like it was my fault that the car wasn't cleaned properly. I HAD $220 STOLEN FROM THIS CAR WASH AND HERE IS MY STORY... I went to this car wash about a month and a half ago because I read some decent reviews. I pulled in and dropped my car off to the people at the beginning of the line. I forgot to grab my phone before I got out of the car so I went back to grab it and boy am I thankful that I did! I had $220 in an envelope in my car and when I got my car back and looked for the envelope I found it, but sure enough it was empty as can be! Some of you may ask, why would you leave $220 in a car that people you don't know are cleaning? The answer is that I really hoped that I could trust in a local business owner to hire honest and trustworthy employees. This obviously was not the case. After I filed a police report I attempted to contact him and it took several days to finally get a hold of him. After finally getting a hold of him, he was extremely rude on the phone and more or less called my character and honesty into question. I eventually realized that he wasn't going to compensate me for the $220 lost at his carwash. He did say that he would give me 4 free car washes. I finally agreed to that but it took another 2 weeks for him to finally answer my phone calls to get the car washes! This place is a terrible and please avoid it at all cost! read more

I had some mud stains on my hood and I guess they used too much pressure with the manual hose before it got into the wash and did a number on my hood. First time at this particular car wash. I have to say overall it was a good experience. The prices were good, they expected all major credit cards, and friendly staff. Now the only reason they didn't receive a perfect score was that I paid for the most expensive wash and an extra $5 for the back doors. I waited around for notification that my car was ready, nothing. I noticed that workers were now on other cars so I walked over to mine since it was out of view. It was sitting there with the door open and keys in the ignition. The front of the car still had bugs on the lights and hood. The interior front doors hadn't been touched. I will say after requesting for the front of car to be touched up a gentleman can over and took care of everything. I will be going back to this establishment. read more
