The original installer had come back several times and then we just stopped calling him. The door never closed (or locked) without having to pull or push the door a certain way. Mike S. solved the issue in 30 minutes. (His approach showed experience in working this type of issue. ) We were both very pleased with the results and to be blunt the door NEVER has worked this well as it does now. I also liked that their service manager Destiny P. was great at explaining the process and the tech they have is great. Several texts came to remind me they were coming. They even came at the time they said they would (this apparently is their normal behavior. Destiney said they don't give "windows of between this or that hour) We paid for a 1/2 day and got several small obnoxious chores done. Mike fixed the screen door, some drywall (small patch of mold) and installed a ceiling fan. All in the space of 4 hours. They book by the 1/2 day. We were happy with the price especially given the quality of work and the ability to schedule within a reasonable time frame. Part of what you pay for is all yard waste being removed from the property. 10 bags were never picked up and our garbage removal company quoted us $150 to have the 10 bags removed. Below is the timeline of dealing with The Poison Ivy Bro: June 17 - Contacted (through FB messenger with photos) The Poison Ivy Bro about getting an estimate on yard work. He responded the same day and called me 3 times. He came the same day and gave us 3 different payment options. We opted to pay in full to save $350 and paid him $1900 cash with a written guarantee of the job being completed on June 29th. June 18- He called to notify me that the money transfer had gone through. He was very easy to reach on the 17th & 18th making sure he got his money. June 28- I texted to make sure that we were still on for the job being completed on the 29th, he responded and said that we were still good to go. June 29th - he cancelled for that day and rescheduled for July 5th and extended our guarantee from one year to two years (due to family needs). July 5- I texted at 9am to see what time he planned on being at the house that day. He then told me he had to cancel and reschedule for July 7 (due to weather). July 7- He came and pulled poison ivy with one helper for 4 hours and then said he had to leave due to the heat and would be back on July 11 to finish. July 11- He was supposed to arrive at 7am. I texted at 9am, 11am, and 3pm, I also called once. He responded and said he needed to reschedule (due to family needs) for July 13. I stated that if it was not done on the 13th we would need a refund. July 13- He texted and said he needed to reschedule for July 14 (due to weather). July 14- Him and a worker arrived and worked approximately 7 hours. He left 10 bags of yard waste at our house. He stated he would return to finish the yard on July 17. July 17- I texted at 10:30am to see when he planned to arrive. He stated he was running behind reschedule due to car maintenance but would be there that day. Never heard back from him. July 21- I texted to see when he planned to return. No reply. July 22- I texted again to see when he planned to return, and he said July 27 at 2pm. July 26- I texted to be sure we were still on for the next day, the 27th. No reply. July 27- He texted to say he would not be there (family needs). Rescheduled for July 31. July 31- He stated he needed to reschedule since the job he was currently at was taking longer than expected and due to weather conditions. At this point I stated that we needed money refunded and the bags picked up and that we did not want the rest of the job completed. He said he would come by on August 4 with $500 cash and would pick up the 10 remaining bags. August 3- He refunded us the $500 electronically. August 4- I texted thanking him for the refund and told him that my husband moved the 10 lawn bags to the curb, so they were easy to load. No response and he never showed up to pick up the deteriorating bags. He states in writing that he removes all yard waste that he picks from the property. POISON IVY GROWN BACK! August 5- touched base with our garbage man about picking up the 10 lawn bags, he quoted us $150.

We didn't have problems that he had medical emergencies and he needed to delay the job, our problem was he said he was sick and couldn't work yet was showing other jobs he was doing instead on his Facebook page. Instead shows up at our house two months later and only works a short time. He doesn't communicate with you about his plans just starts gaslighting you. He still owes us 750.00 but have not heard anything. I would not recommend anyone using him. I never had such a bad experience with a contractor before till I met him. All he did is take our money. He gave us a 2 year guarantee but never finished the job and it grew back. As a senior citizen I felt taken advantage of. I wouldn't even add one star but yelp requires you to do it.
