I was happy to finally have a reason to stop in to Sparkle the other day. Seeing the friendly familiar faces at the counter truly did my heart good. I was truly concerned about our cleaners during this pandemic. W As overjoyed as I was to see how clever so many people were in creating home businesses, like baked goods and home office organizing. Nobody needed their office attire cleaned anymore because they were all working from home and either only wore something for the zoom camera from the chest up or just left the zoom camera off. I was wracking my brains wondering how they could get business in the midst of this situation. Maybe they should make sweatshirts with their logo on it and connect it to our Eggertsville community! Or mugs with the same logo. Some kind of swag that we could buy since all we were wearing were sweatshirts!! So when I was able to stop in I felt like I finally had something that they could clean for me. Unfortunately for us all it was a very unusual item that wasn't able to be done at a dry cleaners. However they told me exactly how I could handle the item myself and were very sorry that they couldn't help me. So I think it's probably a really good time to go through the closet and get the winter coats cleaned while they won't be missed. read more

Sporkle Cleaners are a quiz-removal company that destroy online trivia games permanently. Whereas Spork Cleaners wash your plastic utensils so you can use them again. However Sparkle Cleaners, who are on Eggert near Main, across from Bruno's Pizza, are perfectly fine by me. I messed up my room-mate's favourite shirt (again) from wearing it to a Yelp event and then a nightclub (again), and I stopped by here because it was open and I was in need. They did a great job getting it all spick-and-span for me in under 3 hours (which is how long I told them I'd be gone, roughly), and customer service was fine, not bad, not good. Prices were low compared to a couple of other places I've used (not that I use these services very often at all). And while I'd probably prefer Spankle Cleaners, this place is good too. read more

This place definitely does NOT sparkle. There is a sign when you walk in saying you must unbutton ALL buttons on a shirt, so I followed instructions only to hear the counter person ask me "Did you make sure you got every one?" Yes, I got every one. After I completed this, on both the many men's and women's shirts I brought in, I was informed that they can't launder women's shirts. What?? Their machine is not big enough. Now, I'm not a small woman and I can't believe that my shirts are any smaller than any of the small or medium sized shirts that many men bring in. Again, never heard of anything like this before. I brought my clothes in on a Monday morning at 9am & was told they would be ready on Thursday after 4. When I told the counter person I needed them Wednesday afternoon - 3 full days later, she rolled her eyes at me, refused to change the ticket, and said she would "push it through". Well, she didn't. I arrived on Thursday morning to pick them up and only half the order was ready. This place has no idea of the concept of customer service. If you like having your clothes that should be laundered dry cleaned, waiting a ridiculous amount of time, and provided with the rudest demeanor in a dirty atmosphere, this is the place for you! Oh, and be sure to give yourself plenty of time to unbutton all those collar buttons. There won't be any effort put forth toward helping you here. read more

This is the best dry cleaning I have had in quite some time. There was a delay due to the holiday but the end result was worth it.

Good enough job on the clothing. They even left a note about moth damage thatvI hadn't noticed. Just very annoyed the woman at the counter didn't bother to wear a mouth covering both times I was there. Really dumb way to run a business during a pandemic. read more

8 months ago I had clothes cleaned here. They lost a shirt and said they would look for it and get back to me. I did not hear from them and when I went in to inquire, they told me I had picked it up, but after some pressure, they admitted it was still lost, the owner said he would call after an inventory check. Again, no call... when I returned once more, they offered me $20 to a future cleaning. On Sat, I get a call that they found my shirt and I should come in to pick it up.... So I did, but again, they could not find it. The person who called was not around and no one could find the shirt..... Do not use this place. it is not worth the hassle and the customer service is terrible read more

After using this dry cleaner for 16 years, they lost over 20 items. I stopped in 7 times looking for these items over the course of 3 months. Yesterday I went in again - and they found them under a different address with the same last name. They charged me $220 for the items - one with a broken zipper) and the owner was rude and did nothing to compensate me. I highly recommend not using them. read more

They always do a good job of dry cleaning my suits but customer service is TERRIBLE. There are some personable employees but the older woman (if you've been here you know who I'm talking about) is not the nicest person. I'll never take my clothes here again. I have to believe the dry cleaning business is competitive and the only thing keeping this business afloat is the location. I also read the notice when you walk in that says to undo every button because it's too much work for them. The girl who has taken my clothes every time doesn't say a word and isn't friendly in the least. While it's a longer drive, I'll go to Hardee Bros on Main st. They're pleasant and they'll go out of their way to get your business. They also have a delivery service. Don't waste your time with Sparkle, there are too many cleaners in the Buffalo area. read more

I wanted to have a good experience due to the convenient location to me. However, the staff was unfriendly and one of my shirts was ruined. There were rips at several locations that may have been a result of pinning the shirt during pressing. Also, the price was on the high end of the spectrum. read more
