I have been taking my things to the W. Quaker location for a few years and am very happy with their service.

Took my hand woven silk rug to be cleaned. Said it would be 2 weeks between 80-100 dollars. No word for three weeks. When I called they said they it was put in the computer but then deleted. So they would investigate. They finally found it (took almost a whole day) and when I went to pick it up they wanted to charge me $155 and it wasn't even cleaned. A new dry cleaner can be like a new barber. You never know how it's going to turn out. When you wear your finest and your dandiest on a regular basis, a good dry cleaner can be your best friend. I have a regular dry cleaner in the City of Buffalo, which I frequent on a regular basis - but I recently stumbled upon another establishment near my office of which I am in lust with. Yep. I said it - lust. Good customer service makes me warm and fuzzy on the inside - or haven't you read my reviews recently? HAHA - I joke, I joke, I kid, I kid. Benzinger's Dry Cleaner in Orchard Park is a new little gem of mine who will be getting some more of my business in the coming weeks. I recently dropped off a bundle of shirts to them to have pressed, and was I just wowed by them. Two of the nicest ladies I ever laid my dark brown eyes upon were so polite, welcoming and courteous, if I were single I'd hope they introduce me to their daughters and invite me over for Sunday dinner. My shirts were back, clean, fresh, not too stiff in two days. When I dropped them off, I got a "menu" of sorts, of the other services they offer, including but not limited to - men's shoe repair, shoe shines, new heels, and some women's services for shoes, like toe tips, whatever that is. Now, I'm no lady, but if I were I'd let them tip my toes. I have a few custom suits, so it makes me nervous taking them anywhere. Thanks, Benzingers for making me feel relieved. read more

This place works on volume. You can tell their shirts are thrown in some van for transport and not well-cared for. I consistently have received shirts back that have the stains they had that I sent there to get them addressed. All-the-time. Then, the shirts come back wrinkly. All-the-time. I only go there hoping Leslie would return. She was great. She knew customers by name, was on the ball and made new-hires look good. I found myself actually trying to iron a suit I got back from there and my girlfriend was showing me how poorly the shirts were returned to me as well. They didn't have the courtesy, or even notice, that they had the exact same stains with no less intensity and advise me. No note. They just want the money. Quality is not a consideration. They're not cheap! I just can't go back there. read more

I agree completely with the previous review, you never know how a dry cleaner will turn out until you try them. I took a shot on Benzinger's Dry Cleaning because it was close to my work and I was in a pinch to get my pant cuff hemmed up and suit dry cleaned. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with a friendly handshake and hello; once I gave over my suit I was told it would be ready the next day (dropped off on Wednesday @ 1:30pm, received on Thursday @ 4:00PM), which is just what I needed! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The icing on the cake was the handwritten card that I received a couple of days later thanking me for my business along with a $5 off coupon my next visit! It's things like this that really build a great rapport with their fellow customers, since this I haven't shut up about how great they were to friends and family. Well needless to say this is my new go-to dry cleaning service. I plan on bringing a lot more business their way. Thanks!! read more

Not happy with my experience. Great staff however, business practices are not so great. "Permanent" barcodes are placed on clothing and creases are ironed into pants that were never there before. In my opinion every dry cleaning business should ask if a customer wants a crease in their pants as a standard practice. I invest a lot of money in my business attire and to have the pants creased when they weren't originally is not something I take lightly. As for the barcode, they iron a permanent barcode on clothing so it's easier for them to check the clothes in and out each time the clothing is dropped off and picked up. Why risk damaging clothing that doesn't belong to you just to make it easier to do business? Wouldn't this be considered altering since it's a permanent fixture placed on clothing and done without the permission of the owner? Why would they assume anyone would return for them to practice this to begin with? I'm very unhappy with this practice as the barcode cannot be removed without damage to the clothing. I recycle my clothes periodically and now these particular ones are worthless to resell due to the damage caused by trying to remove the barcodes and/or the barcodes themselves lessening the value. Needless to say I will not be returning to Benzingers. read more

I have tried this business on three separate occasions, since November, 2013. Each time I did I found them to be highly unorganized and slow. On one specific occasion I requested a zipper be replaced. Not to my surprize the "replaced" zipper failed the very next day. I inquired regarding this matter and received no phone call back. I took the jacket the another seamstress in the area and was told I only needed the pulley replaced not he entire zipper. A representative from Benzingers was strict in saying there were no other options for my jacket. I also placed a wool coat in for cleaning. It was sent back twice, once for non removal of stains, then the third time I received it with no stains but with damage done to my coat. After several discussions I was told that "sometimes these things happen" with absolutely no restitution offered. I highly suggest that anyone be very careful should they take any apparel for cleaning or alterations. I have heard on several occasions the staff at the Orchard Park location speak ill of other customers, not very professional at all. read more
