She was very thorough in discussing how to prepare for the cleaning team, what they would do step-by-step, and even texted questions concerning our preferences, with pictures during the whole time the team was in the home cleaning. I spoke to the owner in detail about the amount I wanted to spend ($300). we went over how many workers would show and we agreed to maids. we agreed on the time they would be in my home 1hr &45 mins to 2hrs. They were there for almost 3hrs. they were 10 minutes late. One lady stayed in the bathroom for a hour and half cleaning the same place in the sink. One lady vac floors that were already done. This is what I saw as I was moving my Belongings. I had to ask the lady when they would be finished at the 2:30hr mark and they still asked for 15 more mins. They cleaned the home but "sat on the clock" to make the ticket price higher. They definitely took advantage of me not paying attention to their start time and progress. 390 is the new price don't like it but paid It. She sent the invoice Friday with a 5 day notice to pay. It's Monday and she is performing collection attempt. The owner, Sarah is calling me from blocked numbers and leave messages on my professional LinkedIn for collections. The Worst Experience ever! They did not do a good job for a move out cleaning. Scum left on shower head, drippings left on floors, and more. The cleaners do not understand English so did not follow some instructions. They were defensive rather than apologetic for the subpar job. I will not use them again and would not recommend them. read more

I utilized Sparkle Clean for a month or so while recovering from hip replacement surgery. While recovering, it was nearly impossible for me to undertake routine household chores and cleaning. They did a fabulous job, especially with the incredibly thorough initial cleaning. The management is very professional and customer service oriented. The actual cleaning staff was always timely, on-point, and did an absolutely fantastic and impeccable job. My only minor critique is it was occasionally challenging to clearly communicate with the 3 individuals on the cleaning staff due to the language differences. It appeared that the staff who provided me service were Spanish-speaking individuals; and there seemed to be a team lead who had a relatively greater (if not complete) command of the English language. This was certainly not an issue, but on occasion, I wasn't entirely clear whether my instructions or comments were fully understood. I'm a very easy-going person; was so very appreciative for the assistance while recovering; and the customer service was great, so this was no big deal. read more

They amaze me every time. The staff is very professional and thoroughly trained in their cleaning and take great care in not damaging your furniture, walls, and other areas of the home. Sparkle Clean has been performing bi-weekly cleanings in my 2 bedroom/2 bath + sun room condo for the last year. They have been invaluable to my husbands' and my sanity. We have two fluffy kitty cats and one of the favorite things my guests say is "We had no idea you even had cats, the house smells like lemons and oranges." They arrive promptly every other Wednesday and conduct deep cleans and leave no surface undusted. They even take the trash and recyclables out and wash any dishes left in the sink. The manager we work with, Sarah, is easily available via email for any rescheduling and extra requests we send her way. We've used SparkleClean for a biweekly cleaning since we moved into our house 2 1/2 years ago. Their cleaning is impeccable and they find areas to clean that I wouldn't even have thought about. (Wiping down doors, vacuuming underneath lighter furniture, etc.) The owner, Sarah, is very responsive and flexible if we have a special request. The cleaning team is thorough, efficient, and trustworthy. We had a picture that broke in the move to our house and Sarah sent me an email when the team discovered it, just to make sure we knew about it. They are great with pets, too. Sarah texted me one time when the cleaning team noticed our "senior" dog didn't seem to be feeling well. I think it's rare to find a cleaning service that does such a fantastic job at their primiary job - cleaning - but is also completely trustworthy and responsive to their client's needs. read more

Sparkleclean did three cleanings at our house before we canceled the service. Visit 1: The "deep clean". I waited until a day where I could be there when the cleaners arrived, so that I could give them the tour and two instructions: 1) don't clean the basement, we're about to do a bunch of construction down there 2) don't clean our daughter's play area, we need to go through it and tidy up first. On this visit: * The cleaners "cleaned up" our daughter's play area even though that was one of the two explicit instructions they were given. They threw away a balloon from our daughter's birthday. So not only were they not supposed to clean this room *at all*, they decided to throw things out without even asking us. * The cleaners took a large pile of dirty laundry in our master bedroom - on the floor, where piles of dirty laundry typically are - and neatly folded everything in it to put it on the windowsill. I have no idea what inspired them to do this. It's not on their "deep clean" list nor is it on their biweekly checklist. I asked why this was done, and explained that we didn't want to pay to have dirty laundry folded and Sarah corrected the bill. Visit 2: After the cleaners came, Sarah emailed me this: "Hi John, Just checking in, as I am not sure you remembered we were coming today? The ladies did the best they could but it was especially cluttery and disorganized, mostly in the master and playroom. Last time we spoke you told me to include the play room so we pushed all the toys into 1 area to attempt to clean. Anyways, if this will be the normal for us, its fine, but we would need to increase your rate as we expect it to be closer to 6 labor hours per visit, so $190 per session going forward. Let me know if you would like to keep services at the new rate? Or cancel services?" We elected to continue and instructed that going forward they could throw dirty clothes into hampers. Visit 3. Seemed fine. A couple of days later I went to get a bib from the bag of bibs we keep on the dining room table. It turns out that the cleaners had taken dirty bibs off the ground - with visible, obvious food stains - and piled them into the bag of clean bibs that was on top of the dining room table. I still can't wrap my brain around this one. They were on the floor and obviously dirty yet they were put back onto the dining room table on top of clean bibs. In the living room, they had taken a pile of dirty clothes and dumped them on top of a pile of neatly folded clothes (our 6 month old son's.. sometimes we leave the clothes on the floor next to his play mat). So afterwards we just had to clean the entire pile because it was hard to tell what was clean and what was dirty. In the play area, they had taken all our empty Amazon boxes (which our daughter often enjoys stacking) and thrown them in the recycle bin. Except they hadn't made any effort to flatten them first, so I ended up having to take everything out, flatten it, and put it back in. Not exactly making our lives easier. EDIT: as I was going through the recycling, I found out that they had put an entire bag of DIRTY DIAPERS from our diaper pail into the recycling bin. Dirty diapers are not recyclable in any jurisdiction that I'm aware of. I have no idea why they did this. In our old house, we had two cleaning services over the years and never had any issues like this. If there were piles of clothes on the ground and they needed to vacuum, they simply moved the pile, vacuumed, and then moved the pile back. They didn't get creative, they didn't spend time neatly folding obviously dirty laundry, they didn't put visibly stained bibs on top of clean ones and they didn't decide to throw things out without asking us. On top of all that, after I emailed Sarah to cancel, her response started with this: "Hi John, yes, all canceled. No worries, we agree, it's overwhelming and nearly impossible for any maid service to fully clean the floors and other areas around the excessive clutter, belongings and other things strewn loosely around the home. We do recommend someone to help organize, in order to have any future maid service be able to complete routine tasks. " So after all this, we get a patronizing email explaining that it's all our fault. If they had simply stuck to the work they said they would do in the email and the PDF, and listened to simple instructions about what rooms to work in, we would not have had any issues. read more

We had Sparkle Clean for a while, then we stopped and worked with another service. That didn't last long and went right back to Sparkle Clean. The house smells wonderful every time they come and we have a dog. They are even able to get the couch to look as if we didn't have a dog. I recommend them to anyone who has asked for maid service. I've used this company for years. I have rentals that I have them clean after my tenants move out. I think so highly of them that it is in my lease that they will be used to clean the property. I use them for my own house cleaning monthly. They are very detail orientated. They clean places I didn't even think of. Also they do the windows and baseboards without even asking. I trust them and have not had an issue with anything missing. I know if there is any issue I can let Sarah or the cleaning lead know and it will be taken care of. Sarah responded to my request via Thumbtack quickly and was very responsive in each of our subsequent interactions. i explained to her that a friend of mine would be staying with me while she undergoes treatment for a medical condition that will leave her immune system compromised. She was very understanding and told me I was in good hands with them. She wasn't exaggerating - my house hasn't been this clean since I moved in six years ago. I had three cleaners here for three hours and they left everything pristine. They were right on time, very polite and very thorough. I don't have much to compare it to, but I thought the price was good for all the work that was done. I paid $293 for three hours with three cleaners. Oh my what a professional and competent team! I was dreading my exit inspection at my apartment complex. So I asked my mover who was the best. He recommended Sparkle Clean. I LOVE SparkleClean and working with Sarah. I've used them on an irregular basis for several years, whenever i feel the house needs a good scrub, and I've recently signed up with regular maid service. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I had tried others in the past and felt i was paying A LOT of money for sub-par cleaning. I love that SparkleClean is local, women owned and Sarah also makes it clear she is respectful of her team's work and sets their hours so they can also have a regular schedules because they have kids and i think that is really important. Some companies would make the maids accommodate the owner and sacrifice having a stable schedule, which is not fair to them. That being said, Sarah is SO flexible and will do her best to accommodate your schedule and life. Every time her team has come I've been very impressed with their level of detail and the house always smells fresh and clean. We also have a toddler, a dog and two cats and you wouldn't even know after they leave. We are selling our house and have been in a get-ready frenzy for months. I was dreading having to clean the house in preparation for the listing and open houses.
