I always get the exterior wash only which is around $19-20, since I notice they're pretty slack with doing a thorough job with interior clean ups. I prefer to clean my interiors myself including vacuuming. I come here since it's the closest car wash near me and it does the job mostly. The car gets hosed by high pressure hoses first then it just goes through the auto wash. After it comes out, it gets driven to the curb where 2-3 men quickly wipes it. I always still see dirty spots afterwards though. I treat this spot as a pre wash as I always need to finish cleaning it afterwards. Payment: they give you a paper ticket then you go inside to the cashier to pay. They are typically distracted by their phones or chatting with a coworker. It would be nice if there's ever an option of washing the car yourself with a high pressure hose and suds available at these places, I went to one in another country which I felt was genius! read more

I have been a loyal customer of Sparkle Car Wash for many years and have always valued the service, which makes the recent experience particularly concerning. When I approached the counter to make my payment, I greeted the cashier (Employee #616, morning shift). she was completely engrossed in her personal phone and did not acknowledge my greeting, make eye contact, or offer any form of welcome. her dismissive attitude was both rude and unwelcoming. as a frequent customer, in believe that a fundamental part of customer service is making clients feel valued and respected. this interaction was the opposite of that standard. I've been going here for my oil changes for years. With the free wash it is still pricey. However, I always found service to be prompt and efficient so I forgave the price for the convenience and reliability. Over the last several visits I've been disappointed with the service. Now you pull up to the garage and wait. And wait. Today I waited for near an hour before someone finally acknowledged me and the five cars behind me. There appears to be no management where once there was a guy who was clearly in charge and at least communicating with those waiting and wondering about getting service. I stopped into this place on a rainy Saturday at 5pm and they took me right away. The technician, Andres, suggested I do their Synthetic Mobil bulk oil change ($75) because they're a certified carrier of it instead of paying $99 for the same oil change using bottled oil. I felt confident about that and was happy to save some money, but not forgo on quality. You also get a car wash with an oil change. Service was fast, I was in and out in 30 minutes. Having your car washed here is the equivalent of flushing money down the toilet. Poor washing. The car exterior is full of stains that were not washed off. The interior is barely cleaned. The windows in and out are not cleaned properly and full of streaks. When I pointed this out I was told to bring my car around for another wash. I asked if I would have to wait on line again I was told that I had to. The line was very long and I had to wait 30 minutes. Not going to happen. They cleaned many of the spots by hand simply not worth it. The mats were supposed to be washed. The "washing" consisted of spraying water on the rubber mats and barely used soap to wash them. This car wash is super close to my house and honestly one of the best ones in the college Point/flushing area. The manager is super friendly and attentive. The car wash itself is super well done, the guys do an amazing job cleaning the interior as well as the exterior. The cashiers are also very friendly. Saw all the negative reviews but still decided to give it a try. My experience was really good. I did go for the highest VIP option and the car has never been this clean in awhile! The interior wipe down was meticulous and the guy really took his time to get every nooks and cranny. My seats are all so shiny! I might have got them on a good day. The worst car wash ever. I've gone multiple times and each time is worse. They try to do everything super fast so a lot is missed. If I ask the person who give me my ticket for extra vacuum they just stare blankly, I've stated many times I don't mind paying a little more as long as the car gets cleaned correctly and I always get the same yea yea. When the car comes out of the machine there are atleast 6 men waiting with rags and two will go to the car and open the door, pass the rag on the inside of the window and that's it. The guys who sits in the drivers seat to clean the dash and the middle part just lightly passes the rag and then they all walk off. Multiple times I've had to ask them to please come back and clean the inside of the doors and the dash and the cup holders and I've had to actually ask them to give me the rag so I can do it because I got tired of having to point things out. This time took the cake though, absolutely horrible, what is the point of going to a car wash if I'm getting the car back as dirty as it was previously, even the drivers seat window still had bird poop so even the machine failed this time. First of all, when I first moved in the area two months ago, I called to see if they were brushless and they said they were. I got there and they are not. A lot of people may not know this, but the brushes inside of the car wash scratch up the car with faint scratches, therefore, encouraging you to get a detail by them and spend more money. Although I have the monthly package which cost $70 or $80 a month which is unlimited. I would be furious if I paid the prices, they charge for a car wash when number one, if you don't say anything to them, they do not clean the interior back window at all. Number two, they don't open the trunk to wipe out all of the water and residue. Number three they do not even dry the car off well although they have multiple people drying it. Number four if you come there right as they are closing, they really do a half ass job of drying the car. This is insulting. And last, but not least, my car has on the driver side mats that have to be buttoned back down for safety reasons so they don't interfere with the pedals and eight out of 10 times they do not button them back down. This place is a complete joke. They say there machine for a state inspection isn't working. I also was gonna get a full synthetic oil change and car wash. Don't you guys know you are losing money? I don't get what they don't understand. I told them not to use tape on my car, but they still do. They insist on using cheap duct tape and the goo gets stuck all over the paint of my car. They also don't bother removing the tape and it then the tape bakes in the heat. It just ruins my car even more.
