Our guy is 20 months old and had the best time running around and discovering everything. He especially loved the little make-believe town and playing with all the different interactive elements but the water tables were the clear favorite! He could've stayed there forever. Such a fun, engaging experience for kids and parents alike. We can't wait to go back and explore even more next time! PS they supply aprons and water boots in the water table room! Super convenient. I suggest bringing a change of clothes or some PJS to change your little one into in case they get soaked!

My kids are 2 and 5 and they had a blast. My partner and I typically love kids museums, but we didn't enjoy this one. We went on a Monday around 3 and it was packed. As an educator I really appreciated how exhibits were super low floor and high ceiling so kids of a large age range could all enjoy, but as a mom of littles it was dangerous and overwhelming. There were so many kids sprinting around unsupervised which was a safety issue for my little ones. They got pushed around a lot, many kids were hoarding all the balls or pieces for certain exhibits. The amount of running was pretty dangerous especially for my almost 2 year old. I liked that they had indoor and outdoor exhibits. They had a car repair shop, water play, air driven scarf and ball mazes, fish feeding (for a cost), a play ground, a climbing gym, a ropes course, a cafe, a gift shop, mazes and brain games, and many other exhibits. They had a variety of locations to park strollers. There were steps and elevators. The bags they put the fish food in were way too flimsy. Both broke on my kids and we were scrambling trying to hold the food and pick it up off the ground. It was nice that they have free parking and don't make you exit through the gift shop.

One of the best surprises in Utah. This place is beautifully curated and thoughtfully laid out,…read morewith a mix of traditional and modern pieces, plus a strong emphasis on local and regional artists. You can really feel the connection to Utah's cultural history, which makes it stand out from larger, more generic museums. The building itself is stunning--Spanish Colonial Revival architecture with peaceful courtyards and quiet corners to sit and take in the art. It's not overwhelming in size, but theres plenty to see and the rotating exhibits are always interesting and well done. Staff and volunteers are friendly, and the whole place feels very welcoming. Great spot for art lovers, families, or anyone looking for a quiet, reflective experience. They also are a perfect venue for wedding receptions. Easily worth a stop if you're anywhere near Springville or Provo. Also, back in the day when I was in the BYU Russian & German Choirs, we performed here a few times. Not sure if they still do that, but if so, you might just stumble into a surprise concert mid-gallery stroll. Nothing like quietly admiring a landscape painting while 20 students suddenly start singing in Russian or German behind you. It can be equal parts beautiful and mildly disorienting--but in a good way.

The village is really small and can be done in an hour maybe even less depending on how long you take to enjoy looking around. We did a little scavenger hunt which was pretty fun. If you find all items you get a candy. Friendly staff and a lot of history located at this tiny pioneer village. The best part is it is all free. Although they do accept donations.

There was an apple cider press with samples, story telling, music making, and various other activities. It was fun to do pioneer games as they had equipment for the hoop toss, barrel ring run, stilts, etc. There are various historical buildings that were either restored, or relocated to this village. All very interesting. There are information placards, some with QR codes for more photos or videos of what is being explained. There is also a QR code for a self-guided tour. I recommend visiting here for a good dose of pioneer appreciation. (Pics are to show the real name of this place.) 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
