I had called probably 2 months prior to our arrival at our home in Dunedin. The day prior I received a text confirming my appointment that I had totally forgotten about as I didn't put it on my calendar. They told me the tech would text me 30 mins prior to arrival and my window was 8am-11am. I received a text from Angel around 9am and he and the other tech were at our place in 25 minutes. So far so good. I showed/explained our unit and Angel began a pretty intense inspection of our ducts/system with pictures. He advised the condition and what he thought would be a good plan. He didn't pressure or try to upsell anything, just advice. I believe if we went with the standard straight forward duct cleaning he would have performed it in the same manner. We chose deep clean and sanitization as our vents did have construction debris (YUP) way down the line as well as other things we saw in the pictures that we felt should be done fully and sanitized as well. They were extremely efficient and you didn't know they were there other than the hum of their tools. Start to finish took maybe 90-120 minutes and he showed after pics of each vent/return. At the end he gave us advice on our filter, pointed out an air gap from the installation that I took care of as well as pointing out that our outdoor unit MAY have a fan issue. Called our a/c guy and it certainly did!!!! We will DEFINITELY use them for future cleanings. read more

Benjamin, owner of Express Duct cleaning came to my home and cleaned the ceiling where the previous tech had left handprints, He also checked the former techs work and did some additional cleaning , He gave me a partial refund check which I felt was very fair. Spoke to Benjamin on Thurs, Dec 19, 2024, made apt for 2-4 on Fri Dec 20. I called him to confirm apt, he adv needed to postpone, they were busy. I begrudgingly agreed to Sun Dec 22, 2-4 again. He assured me SOMEONE wld be here & apologized. At 2:05pm I left message, he returned my call & left message. We exchanged texts no one can make it til Tomorrow, 2-4. I was LIVID no one had the courtesy, professionalism to contact me BEFORE agreed upon apt for the SECOND time to advise of cancellation. I informed him "Fool Me once, shame on you...Fool me twice, you have a bad business ethic!" I told him its extremely unprofessional to cancel TWICE and neither time notify me BEFORE my appt time to cancel. I will NOT do business nor recommend business to anyone with this type of work ethic. We are first time homeowners and Yelp was very helpful in finding services in our area. Currently have an issue with our dryer and thought the vent was clogged. Benjamin reached out and provided reasonable prices and excellent service/communication. Our tech was Mark and explained to us of how the vent cleaning service works and what he looks for if there are any issues. LG did come out and automatically assumed it was a clogged vent. After Mark came to clean out the dryer vent, the code on the dryer is still flashing so now need to call LG to prove we had the vent cleaned and it's now an issue with the dryer. I did not use them BUT..................they came and inspected my HVAC and ducts and told me before they could do anything, I had to contact my HVAC company to have them thoroughly clean my wheel and coils because they were caked up and if that isn't clean, doing the ductwork would do no good. I called the HVAC company and while they were cleaning my stuff, they asked why I was doing this besides the fact that the coils and wheel were caked up. I told them I was going to get my ductwork cleaned out and they turned around and gave me a big discount to do the duct cleaning because of the junk in my AC....win-win. read more

I'm pretty sure all their reviews are fake. I feel like I got scammed. They quoted a low price on the phone for air duct cleaning ($99) and when they showed up they quoted over $3,000 to clean our vents. It felt like a bait & switch, snake oil salesman type pitch. They did a basic cleaning for $99 where they hooked up a hose to one vent. I don't think it did anything. Look at their reviews. Most are written by weird accounts that only have a couple reviews or no picture of themselves. Whatever operation is going on with this business, it seems really sketchy and scammy. I'm embarrassed that I fell for the (probably) fake reviews and thankful we're only out a little bit of money and not thousands of dollars. read more

I recently bought a home that was neglected for quite a long time. I've been trying to keep the older AC unit alive and save the expense of replacing everything but it had much more than an "old house" smell and I couldn't stand it anymore. I called King Ray Air Duct Cleaning, explained my situation, and Ben made himself available to come over just a few hours later. He gave me a VERY fair price for the level of service he explained I would receive and had me scheduled in for the very next day. I appreciated the quick turnaround because, during the inspection, I saw that the AC unit and ducts were caked in a thick layer of mold and mildew (that I was breathing in)! They efficiently cleaned and sanitized every piece of the inside unit (they even took the fan out to make sure it was spotless), the entire span of ducts, plus the vent covers. After already going above and beyond cleaning my exceptionally disgusting AC system, Ben took extra time to use a camera and inspect for damage on the inside on my ducts because I mentioned I felt there had been previous damage causing low airflow. I'm now breathing in noticeably better air and I know I got more than my money's worth from their service.
