She tells me the first cleaning is way more expensive than subsequent cleaning and begins to let me know add-ons such as tidying up/organizing is extra. I bite my tongue and agree. She tells me she will meet me at a specific time and I agree. The day of the cleaning comes and the morning of she begins to tell me she will be a little late like an hour. Again, I give her some grace and tell her it is fine as I have taken some time off from work in preparation for the cleaning. She ends up being 2 hours late but that is not the most shocking moment of this severely bizarre and unprofessional service. She shows up to my door two hours late. Takes one look at me in disgust as if she has never seen a black person before. I show her around the house. She then proceeds to lie and say she has to get more cleaning things from her car and then drives off. I have never felt so embarrassed in my life neither have I experienced such unprofessionalism. I cannot help but to have lived through this humiliation but let this be a warning for anyone else trying to book with this cleaning service. I wish I could give zero stars. She says I had a picture on care.com but it was just my name so I do not know where she even got my picture from. Any comment she has provided below is all in an effort to cover up her shameful behavior.

I offered coffee, water, soda, cookies - nothing stopped them from their tasks. Albania even starting singing while she was working, so they happily found an accompanying playlist while they labored on.. They worked for hours - and bagged up all the dirtied paper towels and dusters to take to the trashcans. I was there the whole time, but I truly believe that didn't make one bit of difference with these ladies. They were there to finish a job that they had been hired to do. The price was quoted prior to the hire after describing what needed to be cleaned and the size of the house. It is not an hourly rate, but based on the job being completed. Very nice, hard-working crew that I would definitely hire again - and that is my plan!

I had…read morea large move-out clean and he deep cleaned a 1 bedroom basement apartment as well as a deep cleaned of the main house kitchen. He was prompt and did a walkthrough before they started. So everything was clear. They really did an AMAZING job. I dont think I know when the fridge and oven were cleaned that well. They also made the bed and changed the shower curtain. The toaster looked like it was brand new. They had me check the place before they left and cleaned one small thing I asked quickly before accepting the payment and was surprised when I gave him a tip. For context i live in MD and get a regular deep clean every 2-3 months and I have a much larger home and I pay around the same and my place is not as disgusting as this apartment and kitchen was. Whoever said their pricing was ridiculous probably doesnt get cleaning done often and doesnt know the value and hardwork. Of the 2 other reviews they have here, one is clearly fake. The account has ZERO of anything else. Zero photos, zero friends and zero other reviews. Someone didn't joint Yelp just to say how awesome Pedro is. He wrote it himself. I didn't pick this company. I posted a cleaning job and Yelp sent it to several companies. Pedro responded within a minute or so. 4 minutes later, he began pestering me. IMO, he acts like someone on drugs and needing money for more. I posted that I needed my basement cleaned and I wanted a "deep cleaning" (meaning to move the furniture rather than cleaning around it). He quoted me $180. I asked what that included. He told me "...Kitchen, bedroom, livingroom..." I said that I didn't have ANY of those things to be done. Requested that he reread my posting and give me a quote based on that. He said "but it's a deep cleaning". Yes, but that is moving the furniture. It doesn't suddenly add a bedroom and the inside of an oven where there wasn't one. We went back and forth for over 8 hours! I should have cut it short. And certainly I've now learned my lesson to check reviews when I get replies from Yelp. If I'd seen a fake 5-star review, I'd have known not to waste my time talking to this guy. At 10:22PM (he started pestering me just after 2PM) he finally tells me that the $180 represents 2 hours of cleaning. That's nuts! That is 3x to 4x the going rate! For half that price, you can have 2 people come! I told him that he wasted so much of my time (and his own!) by not telling me at the beginning (like I asked!). He said that I asked too many questions. He's insane! I literally was asking ONE question! But it took him over 8 hours to answer! Between his broken English and his aggressive, hostile manner, it was so difficult and unpleasant. This jerk had the nerve to tell me that the problem is that I want someone to work for me for free. Because I don't think that mopping my floor should cost as much as a plumber or electrician doesn't mean I expect if for free! Anyway, let me finish before this fool costs me more time. There are choices out there. I chose someone else and I advise you to do so also.

Showed up late, left early, ended up having to vacuum and dust after they left, and they had to return after I told the owner that the baseboards in my bedroom were left filthy. My things were not returned to how they were found and my kitchen floor was barely mopped. I work two job and I NEVER have anyone clean my apartment, but I only have one day off a week and for once, I didn't want to spend it cleaning. I paid what was owed because I didn't want no static with these strangers in my home, but I would not recommend this cleaning service to anyone. They're gonna tell you they are going to clean this, that, and the third, and proceed to do a half ass job. Going to have to find another service because this was not worth the money or time. UPDATE: After the owner decided to not take accountability for a terrible job, I will expand. I did say that an hour later would be great, not realizing that they would rush the job and still leave at the original time (when Carlos arrived, he told me that they would do two hours instead of three I was paying for because they had another job scheduled after and needed their "rest"). None of the shelves throughout my home were dusted. If I'm paying for a deep clean, why should I have to point out obvious dirt throughout my home. Clean EVERYTHING (which in this case includes surfaces and baseboards). When they came back to clean the baseboards in my bedroom, they literally did so without vacuuming the floor and just wiped across the board with a rag. I had to vacuum my rug and my floors because there was still debris on them throughout my apartment. So yes, Carlos, I did leave a one star review because you all did a terrible job. And yes, Carlos I leave a lot of reviews (most of which are pretty good). But you Carlos, and the two women with you, did not do a good job so maybe next time, do better, instead of talking my head off about what a great job you're gonna do. The customer shouldn't have to tell you to wipe down every surface and clean every baseboard in a deep clean.
