Stated that the cleaning, and variety/brand of protectant would alter the price. He did speak quite quickly, and as they were starting the job, he was quoting a higher and higher estimate, while scribbling down on a piece of paper, with a pen that did not work. Our inquiry included doing our car, which, over the phone was quoted at about $100.00, which we agreed to, but like the aforementioned re-estimate, increased. from what was quoted to about $169 job, further alterations in cost, turned into a $300.00 total. After we asked him to slow down and break down the "linear footage" and the variety of costs for cleaners/brands, the final charge was $248. The work done was cleaning and protecting. Our loveseat and car interior are essentially new, and clean. in the car, he cleaned so well, that the well-used front seats matched the rarely used back seats. We are more interested in KEEPING it clean with a Scotch Guard-like protectant. If money is no object this company is for you. If you're on a budget or concerned on an accurate estimate, make them slow down, write it down, and answer your questions. End point, we do recommend them highly.

Disrespect for personal property, stole a piece of jewelry, busted up a leg of a piano, piece disappeared, thought I wouldn't notice it being broken and missing. Promised it would be repaired, and although there were delays getting it fixed due to other personal issues, in the end it never got done, they just lied all along about repairing it. These clowns aren't professional and certainly aren't professional piano movers, and moved a piano around like it was just any other piece of furniture, by its legs rather than using dollys. You are made to feel in your own home that you have to walk on eggshells in how you speak, as these clowns take offense at any language you may use that they feel is personally directed at any one of them, completely misunderstanding you, yet they can perform shoddy workmanship. Electrical outlets were left open and put in crooked and left that way, or with the door molding or trim covering a third of an outlet, so the outlet is left open because they can't even cut the outlet cover for it, either before or after putting the molding up. Not applying a bead of caulking behind a bathroom backsplash not fully along the complete seam, leaving it uncaulked directly behind the faucet, and saying to your face it's ok to leave it like that!!! Just downright lazy and shoddy workmanship. You need to oversee their every move and watch where every cent of your money is going. Will argue with you about what you say was there before. Avoid the hassles and aggravation of dealing with these clowns, by simply not hiring them in the first place. And I agree with another reviewer that said her non moldy stuff was tossed along with moldy stuff that could have been saved and should have been separated correctly. During one of the most stressful times when the clean up crew come first to remove and make piles outside of the good(non moldy, salvegeable), and the bad(moldy), if your not watching every little thing, items will go missing and perfectly good and/or salvageable items will end up in the throw away piles. If you ask where's this or where's that, they will make light of it, not take it seriously because the bottom line for them is to get the job done as quickly as possible, so the restoration crew can come in and cut corners wherever they can, by doing shoddy work and buying the cheapest materials or reusing materials that they deem are good enough so they can line their pockets with more of your money and move on to the next sucker who makes the mistake of hiring them. Don't hire these amateurs who will lie to your face, be disrespectful to you and your personal property, be it sentimental or otherwise, and act like there doing you a favor by showing up.

Mike responded immediately and was on-site the next day to assess the situation. His professionalism, transparency, and clear communication made it easy to move forward with confidence. Mike, Simon, and their team were outstanding from start to finish. They completed the water mitigation and mold remediation in just three days--impressive given the scope of the damage. The crew was highly skilled, respectful of our home, and extremely detail-oriented. They protected our belongings, kept the work areas contained, and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each day. Communication was excellent throughout. Mike also provided prompt, detailed documentation for insurance, which made the claims process much smoother. While insurance approvals took time (outside their control), once cleared, the rebuild was completed in only three weeks--far faster than expected. Even minor finishing details were handled quickly and without issue. Prime Mold Removal exceeded our expectations across the board. If you're dealing with water damage, mold, or need reconstruction, I highly recommend them without hesitation.

Jason and Craig are rock stars…read more Several months after we moved into our new house, we had a bad storm that caused water damage inside and we expected the largest nightmare possible navigating the insurance landscape and, having a 2 year old, the logistics of going first through a mitigation process (i.e., drying out and removing old insulation), waiting 2 weeks, and then doing it all over again for the reconstruction. However, Jason and Craig made the entire situation as stressfree and straightforward as it could be. Jason kept everything moving from a scheduling standpoint to accommodate our move back and forth, with the job ultimately ending a day ahead of schedule. He was also very helpful in explaining and helping to navigate the insurance process. Craig ran point for the crew; their clean work habits and attention to detail made them true standouts in my mind. Not only did they put everything back where it was before the whole thing started, but they went above and beyond, doing the little things to ensure the house we were moving back to looked like the home we left (e.g., caulking the baseboard heaters, etc.) All in all, they took a situation I was expecting to be a 2 and turned it into a 10. Can't recommend Elite highly enough and will certainly be calling Jason and Craig back if I ever need anything else done!

Four years ago, All Island Restoration worked on our whole…read moredownstairs of our home after a flood we had in the kitchen. we needed our floor replaced because the water warped our pergo floor. When it was time to pick our flooring, my husband and I went looking for a floor in our given price range. We went to Home Depot and Floor and Decor and picked out flooring that we liked. Alexis kept telling us that she had a place for us to pick out flooring and kept avoiding talking about flooring we like from other companies. Since we were into the project for approximately 8 months already due to COVID, we decided to go with her contact. We wound up picking a floor with their contact, but we're concerned about how thin the flooring was since it was going over tile that was under our original pergo We were told not to worry about it and that they would make sure that everything was done right. About a month after install, the floor started buckling. We callEd All Island to ask Jay, the owner to come take a look at the floor. He said it would cost us $7,000 to redo the floor. We explained that we had reservations about putting this thin floor in, given our circumstances and that Alexis assured us that it would be fine and they'd take care of it. Jay told us flat out that he would replace it for another $7,000. Since then the floor has been separating in many places and even sticking up. We cut our feet on it and my husband had to tape it down. Since we only looked at samples and don't know the company they got this floor from, we have no warranty on it and have to redo the entire floor ( in four rooms of my home) costing us $9,000 more only four years later. The reason we waited these few years was because we knew it was going to cost a lot to redo this floor. Now we are in the process of getting it done right at a big cost. Home Depot professions said they don't even sell less than 8mm thick flooring, but All Island installed 5mm even after our concerns. I have many pictures of this disaster. When Jay visited us, he went around our kitchen kicking the planks to close up multiple gaps. The flooring was a big part of this disaster, but there is way more that happened with the crew that was working on our project. Paint splatter on our brand new windows and screens, holes left in corners of the room, kitchen cabinet handles screwed in crooked, grout started falling out of the backsplash tiles, and I could go on. Wish they would have done right by us.
