I just went to spa Sat. Hadn't been to this spa before . This was a gift from my daughter. The lady's at the front desk were so sweet and helpful. Sandra was my masseuse. I visited for Mother's Day and had such an enjoyable and relaxing time with their mimosa bar and charcuterie board. Melanie is always my go-to aesthetician, as she always does such a good job leaving my face refreshed. She's super accommodating with my different moods too, whether I feel like conversing or just listening to my audible book while she works. Mozi is my go-to therapist. He always works some magic with getting rid of my back knots, and leaves me feeling so much more relieved through the week. read more

Pretty impressed by this place. Very nice set up. The girl at the front was great. Very cheerful and welcoming. The layout of the place was nice, I didn't expect the whole robe and slipper treatment. It's also nice to find an actual massage place in this area. I got the 60 min with cbd, now the massage is $100 but I'd say this place is better than a massage heights or a massage envy, you actually feel the massage here. Hello, I had a massage today and for some reason didn't get what I booked for which was deep tissue as seen below. The appointment was booked with Terri and instead I had Samantha. I am a little frustrated by the fact that I had to pay for something that I didn't book. The girl in the front was very nice but said it didn't show that in the system. Even though I have an email and have my online account showing different. I have my email and online account to show what I booked and what I got was a essential signature. I had a gift certificate (from Groupon) from a friend to use and couldn't because I received a lower massage than I wanted. Please tell me how we can get this corrected. I signed up for the Spavia membership around the early spring 2022, almost every single time I had an issue. My first massage was with Allie, she yawned through the ENTIRE massage, I watched her walk in to work as I showed up about 15 minutes before my time (mind you their first massage is at 10am but they don't even unlock the doors till 10am so by the time you get dressed you're already "behind") she did not look ready for work and you could tell she was tired, then during my massage I heard how tired she was. Literally every 2 minutes she would yawn . My second message was with Samantha, I scheduled a Swedish massage and she took it upon herself to give me a sports massage. At one point she took my leg and THRUSTED it into my chest, when I said "Hey can we not do that?!" She stated she was stretching me. Ok? I didn't ask to be stretched.... She asked me a lot of personal questions about my routines for working out and I thought it was weird and abnormal. My 3rd/4th massages were great at they were with Terri, I really started to think it would turn around. But no. I scheduled a 5th massage with Teri and a facial with another girl, when I went to look at my appointment the day of, they had SWITCHED ME and gave me Samantha. The awful stretch masseuse lady. They had Teri call me to tell me it was an accident but she could squeeze me in later in the week, which wouldn't work because I was going out of town. I then asked Terri to just cancel my entire membership and she told me "the only way to cancel is to talk to the owner" what?! That's the ONLY WAY? Also, they have a cancellation appt button on their app but you can't use it. When you click it, it says you have to call the business. Now, after the first two massages happened I spoke to Kim the owner, I don't feel like she REALLY cares, she listens to you tell her why you're mad and her only response is "Okay, I'll talk to them. So sorry" but you can tell she doesn't REALLY care. DO NOT GO HERE, DO NOT sign up for their membership. The therapist are AWFUL, and the customer service is a joke. They just passed their first year but I don't see them making it much longer. read more

I was very surprised at how terrible the service was, initially I was excited to go I've only heard good things. but my experience was was not what I thought it would've been.the front desk lady was very rude. when i called a week in advance I was told I could use all my gift cards and when I showed up the lady told me I could no longer use them after I've called twice to confirm before booking. I received a gift certificate from my husband in 2022 for Spavia. I dreaded cashing it in. Previous experience with Message Envy caused me to not want any services from this local business. I finally scheduled my facial and today had it done with Kaitlyn at Spavia. It was awesome!!! It was so peaceful - she was completely sensitive to my wants. It was unique - she tuned in to my needs and I respected her advice. It made a difference - noticeable skin changes on this 63 year old face. Am so pleased and will go back. read more

I didn't have the best experience here. After looking at photos and reviews it seemed like a great choice. I booked this place for a prenatal massage because I was in need of one with all my lower back pain. Upon arrival I was 5 mins early and was greeted by no one at the front desk. So I just sat and waited. My appt time was 3pm and the massage therapist walks in at 3:01 (no big deal but I figured she would've been prepped and ready to bring me back since nothing stayed online for me to arrive early and everything is on a time schedule). I filled out paper work online which asked my sandal size etc. I get to the changing room and it's unorganized she told me to change into a robe and that I could just keep my own sandals on because clearly they were unprepared and the ones in my locker were 3 sizes too small. I started to change and two staff members walked in with a handful of robes which caught me off guard because it's a small changing area and I didn't want to change near in the bathroom with the toilet. Knocking would've been preferred. I didn't use the shower because the seat provided had some brown stuff smeared on it (probably sun tanning lotion) so again, not cleaned. I get the waiting area and finally in my massage area. The bed was super small for a prenatal massage. I have a whole 8 month stomach and body pillow and felt like I was going to fall off the bed if I turned the wrong way. The massage therapists hands were cold, the room was cold initially (which again, if on time of would've been ready). She didn't use enough oil or lotion because each rub felt like my skin was being pulled. I asked for medium pressure and it was extremely hard. I was getting a little worried that the pressure was too much being that it was PRENATAL. She even put her elbows in me and rubbed at one point. Took her fist and rubbed back and forth in quick motions that is not prenatal massage therapy that's learned in a school. Or at least it didn't feel like it. The best part was my legs and arms honestly. The back was so much pain. I couldn't even stand afterward. I went home in so much lower and upper back pain from my massage when the whole reason for going was to RELAX!! The next 2 days I could barely walk without wobbling. I personally will NEVER go back to this place again! It's not worth what I spent and I still extended grace and added gratuity even the massage was horrible. The therapist was a sweet lady but the training and technique is just not there! The best part about coming here was the quiet room that you relax in (even tho the pillows on the couch slip and slide and I could barely get up being 8 months pregnant.. the therapist apologized and said, they needed to add Velcro) and the warm neck pillow... that's it! read more

Had to wait to write review, I didn't want to come off as harsh. But I'm convinced the other reviews were written by people who know the owner. I really wanted to like this spa. But it's literally a nicely packaged Massage Envy. The decor is what you would expect in an upscale spa. But if it's 50 degrees outside why isn't the heater on in the place? The entire place was cold. The "retreats" for changing reminded me of a gym locker room. It wasn't a well thought out use of space. The only room with a lock on it was the restroom. It's impossible to change without trying to balance your clothes and the robe. There's only a bench in the shower area or the area by the locker. Who wants to change where everyone else is? We arrived early due to having to complete paperwork. Massage was supposed to start for 410, we didn't get to the room until almost 425. It was supposed to be 100 mins which if started on time would've ended at 6pm. We started late and ended at 555. The waiting area wasn't cozy, or private enough. Too much traffic for a spa. Everything in the area was "self serve". I'm not used to that at this type of place. The heated neck pillows were in a warmer and also self serve. Why!? People come to spas to be catered to. Our therapist were Allie and Emma. I'm convinced they just finished school. The entire treatment was basic textbook. We both asked for more pressure which didn't happen. It was 80 mins of having body butter applied! I could do that at home for free! No range of motion, no stretching, no elbows literally nothing but hands rubbing. They use body butter which is fine for a massage however please don't ask the customer to "inhale". There's nothing to inhale body butter doesn't give off scents like oils! The towels are okay but please limit the time don't leave it on until it's cold! There's so many simple mistakes that were made! Hopefully the owner, Kim will use this review to improve. Also, not sure why the owner was that present. If she wants to be present do something other than stand in the front. There were glasses left from previous clients just sitting on counter. My husband and I are business owners as well so we understand how people are with just starting their businesses. read more

I do not usually provide bad reviews however I don't want anyone else to go through the experience my daughter and I had yesterday. I called a week in advance to set everything up as it was my daughter's birthday present. I signed my daughter up for the Renew package for $329 (no Groupon- full price) (facial, massage, bodywrap) and myself for the Regenerating Organic Lift Facial for $139. My only request was for my daughter's esthetician to be a woman of color as she has some skin concerns I was hoping she could discuss with an esthetician that could relate. I was told they had one esthetician that would fit the need so I booked everything, over the phone. The day after scheduling I received an email showing I only signed up for a signature facial and nothing for my daughter. I called back and was told no I didn't sign up for any of those services, only the signature facial. I scheduled the services for a second time. I should have moved on to another place but didn't. I still didn't receive an email confirming the correct services so I called back and was told we were set up for the requested services at 11 AM. We arrive on my daughter's birthday, around 10:57 AM. There were 2 ladies in the front to greet us. The first thing they both say is we are late and will need to hurry as this would give us less time for our services. I explained we were not late and that we were told to be there at 11. Haley argues with me, repeatedly. After the first exchange of her accusing us of being late, I was going to leave however my daughter wanted to stay so we continued with the check-in process however we never got to that part as Haley continued to argue with me that our appointment was set for 10:50. At that point we decided to leave as my daughter was feeling uncomfortable. I went back inside to get Haley's name and had to ask 3 times as she didn't want to give it to me and the other lady seemed very confused yet was trying to help. She kept saying that Haley made a mistake and trying to explain. We were treated like children, not customers that were spending $$$. Spare yourself the experience. We left and found a wonderful spa with more amenities and actually spent less money. The last thing I would say is to Danielle, the one woman of color that was supposed to provide my daughter with a facial, get the hell out of there. You are needed elsewhere. I called many places to find you and even though it is not surprising how we were treated, considering where we live, you can do so much better than this place. Not very often do I feel like massage therapists apply the proper way for massage therapy that they learned in school to do a proper massage. So very excited to have this spa right in my neighborhood of Fairfield. I have been for a facial that was so wonderful. The spa has great atmosphere, plush robes, awesome pre relaxation room. It all works. My son is a high school athlete and he has had two sports massages. One was a woman and one was a man. Both did an amazing job according to my son. Booked a much needed facial (which was on a special for first time patrons) and WOW, so very impressed. They have everything that is offered at any high end Houston spa so you can enjoy the full spa experience; ambiance, services, personal and the value is so very affordable. Spavia is my neighborhood spa! I had a facial and LOVED it. It was so relaxing and my skin felt so good afterwards. Many spa places have me leaving looking like a porcelain doll and it's strange looking to me, I did NOT have that experience here. My skin looked clean and fresh.
