I wish I could give negative stars just to cancel out all the fake reviews. Made an appointment for my 2 girl dogs to get spayed here. Got a super bad gut feeling about bringing them in the night before so naturally, I did some research and digging. After research and reading countless reviews on multiple platforms, I opted to find a new vet office to spay my dogs. Let's just say the woman on the phone was not happy about this. RUDE to say the least, and basically called us dumb for cancelling. If you find a stray and don't have money for a nice vet, this is a good option. HOWEVER, if you want you and your pet to be treated with respect and kindness, this is NOT the place to go. If you care about your pet, just pet the extra few $100 at your normal veterinarian. read more

We foster kittens and this is our go to office to help spay and neuter our feral cat population and also our kittens who will be available for adoption. We get great care for the experience. Remember to arrive by 8:00. Also for kittens, have a clean carrier with a blanket for post operative care. read more

After some serious bouts of heat, we knew we couldn't wait any longer to get our girl spayed. Referred here by a friend after she got her cat spayed at this location, we had heard good things. So, we made our appt and arrived early to fill out paperwork. They were packed when we got there. Nevertheless, we got through quickly and left our baby in their hands. Picked her up that evening and learned she was not the nicest kitty that day. Poor thing was so scared she spazzed out and started clawing for dear life. They were still so nice and calm - never even called us. They separated her from other pets to calm her down and covered her carrier when we picked her up, so she wouldn't get riled up again. They advised we could call with any questions, but we never needed to. Her wound healed nicely and she's back to being an active, bouncy, fun loving kitty! read more

This place cares and they make it easy. My kittens had a good experience here and their cuts disappeared. Temperament is a good reason to get this done! If you want to keep the unwanted cat population down and just really love cats, take them here. They deserve your business. I needed my cats records and they cheerfully emailed them. Took our blutick coonhound puppy to get neutered. They also gave him his vaccinations, nail trim and rabies all under 100! Friendly staff and took good care of our baby boy, Blu. You need to make an appointment beforehand since they are pretty busy. Also if you can print and complete paperwork before your visit it can save you some time. read more

My daughter had her puppy scheduled for surgery this morning. Last night we had a flat tire and had no way of getting it fixed until this morning so we had to wait till they were open in order to cancel. We weren't cancelling we were rescheduling and they would not even allow us to transfer our deposit to reschedule. They said we didn't let them know in advance? but they were closed so there was no way to give them notice... read more

I picked a kitten up out of a parking lot in front of a restaurant. He had fleas, two different types of worms and several ticks. Spay N Save took complete care of him. They work with you and your budget. Extremely professional as they are personal. I wish there were names I could give credit to, but the entire staff was just wonderful. They made it much easier to find this little guy a home with their affordable care. I'll definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

if you care about your animals safety and health, you will go somewhere else. the owners aren't even veterinarians, but instead business people who decide what happens to your cat. they seriously injured our kitten and claimed "he had no injuries when he left". i would HIGHLY recommend you go somewhere else. read more

This place is a butcher shop! I, unfortunately did not have a choice on where my new pet was sent since I got her from Seminole County and they send them out for spaying immediately after adoption. Since the day I picked her up there have been nothing but problems. She has been sick the entire time I have had her and its well over the 7-10 days that they say may happen after the surgery. I dont know why they dont keep them longer than a few hours to make sure they are ok before sending them home. Some of them are rude and dont understand the concept of acknowledging clients in the room even if they arent at the window yet. If you have to call for advice or concerns more than once be prepared to repeat yourself each time as have communication among staff is lacking. By the time they are ready for you to bring your pet back in to see someone it's a completely unreasonable time frame and they dont accommodate like you dont have a job. Hundreds of dollars later and my pet is not only still sick (cold and constipation) I'm wishing I had just requested her to be left fertile. The only star they are getting is for the nail trimming I didnt pay for, the closeness to my home and the fact that they do answer the phone. read more

I have been working in rescue for almost 5 years and there is no place like Spay N Save. I drive almost 30 minutes to get here even though the Pet Alliance and Animal Control are closer to my home. You cant beat their friendly staff, ease of drop off and pick up, and most importantly their love for the animals. The feral cats I bring in are treated as if they were my beloved personal pets. The surgeries are done so well and so much is included in the cost. I highly recommend this place! read more

TNR - I took 4 outdoor cats here to get fixed, and spay and save did their basic shots along with it. They also offered deworming (extra), flea ($5 extra) and microchip ($15 extra). I did get dewormer for 2 cats and microchip on one which my friend adopted. I got the flea treatment on all, I believe. So me and my friend adopted 2 of the cats (well, kittens) and the 1 female and 1 male adults were returned to their homes outside and are happy, healthy, and civil. They do have their ears tipped now so animal control knows not to trap them. If you don't get any extra treatments I think it ran like $30/cat to fix them. read more

I have a house full of rescued animals, and taking them to the vet was growing increasingly expensive. I needed to get everyone brought up to date on vaccines, I had a few cats to microchip, had three dogs who needed wellness exams. Spay n Save made two appointments, allowing me to bring in two separate loads of animals, so I got everyone completely taken care of in one day, with a charge that was probably a third of what area vets would charge. In addition, they are some of the nicest, most caring people around. What peace of mind to know that all of my companions are healthy, micro-chipped, vaccinated, and flea free. When I found a tiny baby kitten, survivor of a coyote attack on his colony, I brought him to Spay N Save, who took excellent care of the baby. read more

Spay N Save has the most incredible staff, and they actually CARE about your pet. My dog, Mishu, got very ill and I rushed her to a vet in Altamonte who barely looked at her and who wanted an astronomical amount to do surgery. He didn't even listen to her heart. Out of desperation, I called Spay N Save that afternoon. They scheduled Mishu for the next morning and they saved my dog's life. They also told me my Mishu has a heart murmur....something that the first vet not only didn't tell me, but with not listening to her hear, probably wasn't even aware of. Because of this, there was a chance my girl might not make it out of the surgery alive. She did, and Spay N Save took the time to call me after the surgery to let me know she had come out of surgery and was awake. Groggy, but awake.
