To top it all off, they were $600 less than the dealer for 4 high end tires! Exactly what I was looking for. I brought my car in the next morning and they quickly took care of me and had me out on the road. All kinds of warranties and additional help if I ever need it at no extra cost. They don't make service places like this anymore! It's like having a buddy you know that will take care of you when you need it. My go to spot. I highly recommend Discount Tire.

Her sister's was a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. My wife brought in her own wheels and tires to be put on. And take the new wheels and tires and put them on the 2023. Note, my wife's off old rims wheels and tires have never been off of her other Jeep. Other than being installed by Tire Rack. This is when red flags started to appear. At the beginning of isolation one of the techs had advised my wife that they did not have the correct wheel sockets in order to remove her lug nuts. That was the first red flag. The second one was when everything was said and done. The service writer had brought up that one of her center caps were broken after the fact. I am not going to explain that part. I will just say that after speaking with the manager He did make it right and order a new one and replaced it. The situation that put the nail in the coffin was. And I should have caught this sooner but I didn't. When they went to balance her wheels and tires. The tech had put the weights on the enter part of rim, on the outside lip of the wheels. Where Tire Rack had put the weights on the center part of the wheels. For one, these wheels are solid black wheels and was in perfect Condition. Tire Rack had balanced and mounted these wheels and tires and yes, we've had them for three years. I will say it was pretty shocking that my wife kept these from having any scratches or damages on the wheels. She actually make sure that there was nothing wrong with them And kept him very clean. I am very disappointed and truly, I don't know if I can even bring myself to even trust in this place ever again. Just wanted to add a new other note. After posting this on google. This review received a response back from a Joe from discount tire. With a link to speak with them. I've just got to say that link does not even work. It's a joke as much as they are. They're just trying to show to the public that they're willing to correct the issue. But in reality, their link doesn't even work. There for they're not truly wanting to fix the issue either. If they were, they have my name and they know how to contact me. Giving me a fake link like they did lets me know everything I need to know.

Generally, I'm reluctant to give 5 stars to a business, because I can usually find some fault somewhere, but A-1 really deserves high praise. I was new to the area about two and half years ago, and had what I thought was a major problem with my truck A/C. Based on an ad on a restaurant menu that stood out, I took it to A-1. The owner, Beau, found the problem was a 53 cent part that was malfunctioning, and sent me on my way (very surprised, and happy). There was probably no better way to come to understand that this was a man, and business, built on integrity and honesty. For me, that would be more than enough to earn my repeat business, but over the past two years, Beau and the team at A-1 has also proven to be more than capable at diagnosing and repairing every issue I've had. He has ASE certification, and knows his stuff. His prices are more than fair, as well. This is as good as it gets, folks. I'm sorry to be leaving the area, because I truly trust this business, and it's owner. Do yourself a giant favor and give your business to this guy. Curtis

I will never again use this company, and do not recommend them…read more I took my car to A1 Car Repair in Eustis because my AC had suddenly stopped working. I was told there would be a diagnostic charge of about $125 and that it would take 2 or 3 days. The next day I received a link via text with a quote. The quote included the diagnostic charge, indicated that I needed a new battery (which would cost about $450 and included all of the hold down brackets and other parts that I can't imagine are really necessary), and a $15 quote for an AC clutch. I declined the overpriced battery but approved the AC clutch. The next day I received a text link with an invoice that indicated the work was completed; however, the invoice link only charged for the diagnostic charge (nothing for the AC repair). I called to get clarification and the owner said they could not complete the AC diagnostic unless I approved the battery replacement. I explained that I am not willing to pay $450 for a battery replacement. (He said that is the going rate, and I won't get a better price from anyone else. I am able to buy a high-quality battery for $250.) I TRIED to ask whether I could replace the battery myself and return to complete the diagnostic. He went completely off at me! He said, "I am not in the business of diagnosing problems and then people doing their own repairs!" He would not let me explain that I wanted them to do the AC work. I remained calm. I asked him to please listen to me and let me speak, but he was having none of it. I finally just hung up. There was no way for me to pay the diagnostic fee remotely, so I called back to pay it over the phone. The line was answered by an AI bot that indicated I was to leave my contact info and someone would call me back to receive my payment info. I had no way to know whether hackers had taken over their phone line and might call me to steal my CC info, so I was unwilling to use that system. I tried several times to contact them, each time the Bot answered. I suspect they were simply screening my call. Finally, I had my husband call. He was able to make payment over the phone. It turned out that they had reduced the diagnostic fee to around $65, which was appreciated. But it did not make up for the disrespectful and rude treatment I received from the owner.

Today I stopped in with an illuminated check engine light and need for an oil change. The quote came to almost $350. Most for an "engine diagnostic" (that they do for free across the street at AutoZone) and $120 for an oil change. He said the cost of oil went up. After several years in this area, I am pleased to have finally found an auto repair shop I trust…read more(that is a different review), but I still take all of my tire work to Collins Tire Center. This place is Old School, in a good way. A lot of their customers are apparently drive up, but I always call ahead. If you have a punctured tire that hasn't been driven flat, and you want to get a bunch more miles out of it, Mr. Collins will patch tires that other garages won't even look at (besides, there is more profit in selling tires). But I have also bought new tires at Collins, and the prices were quite competitive. And he will rotate the tires you buy from him at a low price for the life of the tires. And if you bring the oil and filter for your vehicle they will quickly do an oil change - or you can have them get the parts, but it will obviously take longer to have the oil and filter delivered. If your vehicle needs repair also, there is an attached repair place in back, but I have not used them enough to give an opinion. Finally I will add that you need to bring your checkbook or cash because they do not take credit cars. I told you it is old school! And though it is neither here nor there as far as workmanship is concerned, Mr. Collins is civic minded, as he and other town businesses sponsor a free picnic lunch in the park downtown on each 4th of July!
