I was expecting it to be a lot busier, but it was nice that there weren't too many people there, so you could have rooms to yourself. (We went on a Sunday evening.) And I love that Spaland stays open til 2am! Their food court is also pretty decent! Price of food not included in the entry admission sadly. The slushies are delicious and so refreshing to sip on since it's so warm inside. And the roasted eggs are a must get!

I picked spa land based on reviews and it did not disappoint. The only downside is that the towels are very tiny. The dressing room and bathroom Doesn't have AC. Also, you can't wear any slippers. we brought our own house slippers they said no. it's only socks or barefoot, but we saw the staff wearing sneakers out on the main floor. I would understand if they were kitchen staff but these weren't. There a variety of sauna to try from that is coed. The swimming pool and the wet sauna are in the dressing area. I would recommend bringing your own Tumblr of water so you can stay hydrated, but we were visiting from out of town and we didn't bring our Tumblr. we did eat there something small to hold us over until dinner time. The front desk staff were really but the dressing room staff were kind of meh. It was so hot maybe she was miserable. They also offer a variety of additional items which we didn't take advantage of but other people did. I am glad my husband said yes. I hope that we can visit other Korean spa throughout the United States.

We enjoyed this smaller one a tad bit more for several factors. This jimjilbang is less crowded and not over stimulating. They don't have a specific time when you can get mats out, the bathhouse is smaller but offers a steam room, dry sauna and, cold and hot bath for soaking. They offer 4 levels of body scrub, my husband and I got the basic scrub which was equivalent to a scrub you get in Korea and very much worth it. They start at $60 and go up to $190, the higher ones included facials and other stuff (I was told). This is not a place to go if you need a new, glamorous look. It is older looking but nonetheless still serves its purpose. The areas were very clean and kept organized. The staff were phenomenal, no discrimination took place from start to finish. We received a warm reception in all areas, and they were very accommodating. We will be back!!

They refused to apologize, continued to claim he was the same person, and told him he'd be "monitored closely" if he stayed. This created a hostile environment that made us leave immediately. As Black customers, the experience felt targeted and biased. I recommend that Google review the business for inappropriate and discriminatory behavior toward guests.

It used to be a place I'd happily recommend to people looking to relax and reset. That changed recently when it became clear they are not welcoming to motorcycles. As someone who rides, that's a pretty disappointing stance to see from a business I've supported for so long. I'm not interested in supporting places that single out riders or create an unwelcoming environment for people simply based on how they arrive. It's a shame, because the facility itself has always been solid and I used to enjoy coming here. But culture matters. If a business doesn't want to be welcoming to the riding community, that's their choice--but it also means they won't be getting any more of my business. Plenty of other places out there that are happy to welcome everyone who walks through the door. ‍

This was a gift from a friend that I couldn't experience during my first visit but this time I was able to relax, show up on time and brought a friend. The logistics - there's parking for 1080 Peachtree in the rear. SWTHZ validates for up to 2 hours. You check-in at the front and there's a quick tour. You don't need more than 5 minutes but be mindful of your actual recovery in the sauna time. Location - There's about 6 rooms and the restroom is a separate area. There's an open area to dry your hair, apply lotion, do makeup and even body spray. It's a 2-seater area so not much privacy or the focus. Best to leave and do that at home. Sauna - It's a cozy sauna with ambient light, a bench and stocked with towels to cover your bottom and blot off the sweat. It doesn't take long to get a good sweat going. I'd leave your phone out of the sauna because it may overheat. Vitamin C Shower: The water is infused with vitamin C to rinse off before the cold plunge. There's shampoo, conditioner & body wash provided. There's an overhead and handheld shower head. Cold Plunge - The large tub is set to 50 degrees and fits 2 adults. Brace yourself! It's recommended to sit for 3-5 minutes and then back into the sauna. Overall, the experience was relaxing, invigorating and enjoyable. I do feel like my sore muscles recovered and I sweated out impurities. I would go back to set up my music & TV but we just didn't have the time. Pro Tip: Shave off about 10-15 minutes to shower & dress so you really only have 40 - 45 minutes. First time visits are only $25.

I received 2 cold press towels one with lemongrass and the other with lavender. They had other selections, juniper and eucalyptus. They suggest you bring a water bottle for hydration.. leave it empty because they have a Bevi water dispenser, you can get Get still or sparkling. flavored water and even electrolytes. I filled my bottle with still cucumber lime water.. so Refreshing. I tried the cold plunge it's sooooo cold. But you are only supposed to do it for about 2-3 minutes I could last 5 seconds. The vitamin C showers are refreshing after the Sauna. They provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Linda set the timer and I made sure to keep a eye on it. After session.. I did a infrared session for my face located in the front lobby area. ***My only down.. the area to blow dry hair is in front lobby. I wanted to do my makeup, I was heading to lunch after. I didn't feel comfortable applying makeup while other guests were coming in and waiting to check in. Maybe if they provide a partition to give a little privacy. Plenty of Parking located in Vining's Jubilee plaza. Right next to Orange Theory. I will return.

My friend wanted to spend her birthday at a bath house. We've tried Jeju and SpaLand before, but wanted to try something different. There were a total of 4 of us. Roman Holiday Sauna is in that Red Green Brazilian Steakhouse shopping center all the way to the right corner. When we got there, it was completely empty except for the people that was working there. They gave us 4 a quick tour and we started out on the lower floor where the saunas, lockers, and restaurant are. For those of you that have a hard time going up and down the stairs, their elevator is currently not working. When we got there, guess what? There were no baths! We did read about this on the reviews, but when we called prior to our visit, they claimed that there were baths. Nope...it wasn't even built for a bath. We had all purchased the body polish and they said that we can just eat first, steam and then do the polish. They wanted us to wait an hour. We said okay. Went to the "restaurant" and they claimed that their menu wasn't printed nor was the tv working where the menu was. So we had to try to figure out what their "handwriting" menu was. 2 out of us 4 ordered soup. Foods took awhile b/c it was just one lady cooking and it seems like they weren't really prepared....they literally said that they don't have 70% of the items from the "menu" because they haven't went grocery shopping (more like because they don't have enough customers). While waiting, they left the door open to the outside part behind us. Their employees kept on coming and going and the cigarette smell was getting stronger and stronger. I tried to go to the door to close it, but they kept it propped open and I can see where all the employees were back there smoking. Foods arrived...it was good. Since it took them awhile to cook (more than 30 mins), the body polish ladies kept on coming to us asking if we're ready yet. We told them that we literally just got our foods, they told us to be here for at least an our, and we wanted all 4 of us to be polished at the same time. Before I proceed, we did asked the front desk lady if there's enough staff to do the massages and body polish at the same time...she kept on trying to convince us to get the $160 package. We said that we will only get it if we can go at the same time...she kept on saying yes. Finished our foods, went to the polish area and they said to go wash our bodies first and go steam. We did all of that. OHHH! Before I forget, we all used the restrooms prior to this and the ladies that were working there did too. They were using it for awhile and when they came out of their stalls, not a single one of them WASHED THEIR HANDS!!! We're thinking to ourselves, these will be the same hands touching us, but we tried to think positively that at least they will wash it prior to polishing us. Here's where it all went down...if you're still following along...after the steaming room and they called us all out that they're ready, they only prepared 3 out of the 4 beds...we're like okayyyy. I told them that I'll just go lay on the infrared floor and wait, hence, the body polish is 90 minutes. It is what it is and we were all planning to be there all day anyways. After they rushed through one of my sisters, they told her to go ahead and go upstairs for her foot massage. She repeatedly told them that she's waiting for us. I'm still laying there on the darn hard floor rotating front and back waiting for them to call me. Next thing I heard was my sister coming back from the locker room asking them why did they started on someone else and not ME?!?! I lifted my head up and saw that they completely skipped me EVEN THOUGH I WAITED 90 MINUTES!!! What the F*CK?!?! One of the ladies there tried to lied to my sister and said that that lady was waiting for a long time already and was been there. Sis said, "No...there was nobody here before us. You knew my sister had been waiting, but you still proceeded to take someone else". They said they had a system going and my sister didn't understand. That's what got me riling up. The front desk lady (not sure if she's the mgr or what not) came downstairs and tried to talk too....the moment the staff said my sister didn't understand, I said, "forget it...I'm cancelling b/c I'm not waiting another 90 mins and you can just refund me". They tried to say, it'll be another 10 mins. Why? So that they can rush through my 2nd sister and friend? Went upstairs and got my refund and the desk lady kept on apologizing that they're short staff and didn't know until "yesterday". I told her that was not the point. I didn't mind the wait b/c I was already waiting, but to have someone skip right in front of me after I PATIENTLY waited and then to try to gaslight my sister? Oh h*ll no! *can't type anymore b/c Yelp have a min*
