He is very knowledgeable and quick to diagnose the issue and treat them accordingly. My babies recover within the given time of the problem. Which by the way are very very reasonable. I lost my car keys one day outside of of their office while walking my dog. It was scorching hot outside. While there was another employee in the office, the lady at the desk came outside to help me look. I know we looked for at least 30 minutes in the scorching heat until they were found. I couldn't imagine any other clinic having an employee that would go out of their way for something that was not at all in the job description.

It was so comforting in such a sad time to see how much love they had for our furbaby and they treated him as if they were losing their own. In a sad time it made my heart happy to know on his last day he was given so much love by the entire office as well as our family. I will continue forever to bring my other fur babies to her and her staff and I can't say thank you enough for showing our family the love and support that they gave us. I will always 100% recommend them to all family and friends. I wouldn't trust my fur babies with anyone else! If I could give 10 stars I would that's how great the office is!! Needless to say, I LOVE my kitty, but since this is a review of the shelter, not my cat, I will try to keep the fact that WE LOVE OUR KITTY out of it. :) This shelter is fairly small compared to others I've been to. It's one of the cleanest ones I've ever encountered-- very few dog cages with piles of poop in them and the cat boxes were all clean and tidy. It's obvious that the shelter doesn't have much money-- there is no vet in-house and both the cats and dogs have fairly small cages. The tiny dogs and puppies fair a little better and at least have a blanket or something to curl up on. When we were looking at both the cats and dogs, very few notes were given about the animal, but they were very nice about letting us take out whatever we wanted to play with. When we adopted, we were shocked to learn that they let the animals leave the shelter without being spayed or neutered! Wow! That goes against everything I assumed about shelters, but hey, we got our cat, and I am happy. She was given food and a place to sleep while she was there, although she came out with fleas, ear mites, round worms and giardia (but it's likely she came to the shelter with most, if not all of that). Still, they get an extra star for all the hard work they put in and working with what they've got-- it's not an easy job to see all these animals everyday, I am sure. The fact that they don't ask you any questions about what kind of pet parents you might be speaks, I think, to a level of desperation on their part just to have anyone willing to take one of these furry friends home. I am not someone who would ever, EVER buy a dog or cat when there are so many at the shelter-- there are too many animals in need to even think about it. But there will be some start-up costs if you choose to adopt from here and I would recommend taking your new family member to the vet *immediately* to get checked out (ours was at the vet within hours). Even with the costs considered, there is something about getting a pet from a shelter-- somehow they know you've rescued them-- and they become the most loving, loyal, sweetest companions you'll ever have.

I also looked around at the snakes they had available along with other reptiles while I was there, and they have some VERY GOOD & FAIR prices on everything reptile wise too along with the food I needed for my young ball python. (I would like to mention I am familiar with these prices across the market). Very friendly people there, and a welcoming environment. Also, I want to mention that the owner is very knowledgeable and kind! I am so glad that we have a local reptile store now! Especially one that I would get behind, and I'd love to support in any way that I can!

They were once good breeders but have since gone way downhill in recent years. Unfortunately, with my most recent purchase, the snake developed an RI shortly after I brought her home, and after a vet visit and sending off a swab she tested positive for Nidovirus. I tested a couple other animals in my collection and they tested negative, so I know it was not from me. One of the owners didn't know what Nidovirus was when I confronted him on the matter. He said he shouldn't need to know because "none of their snakes are sick." When I made the test results public, they called me at like 9-10 PM to try to guilt/scare me into taking down the posts. Please do not do business with them. Do not go to their shows. You could be exposing yourself to mites and who knows what else.
