I had an episode where I was in and out of consciousness for 3 days, vomiting and diarrhea. I went to him for a referral to get testing for Addison's disease as this has been a recurring problem for decades. I've had multiple symptoms of Addison's disease since I was a child. He literally belly-laughed, guffawed, at the very idea. He was so loud he could be heard all the way out to the waiting room. He refused to give me a referral for testing. Thereafter his receptionist was consistently rude to me - I don't know if that was based on what she heard out in the waiting room or if there was further discussion about my craziness after I left. I ran out of thyroid meds a while later, and he was out of town and the receptionist refused to ask his stand-in to give me a scrip to tide me over until he got back. This resulted in me running out of my thyroid meds, which eventually resulted in yet another Addisonian crisis (low thyroid pulls cortisol low and eventually triggered a full-on crisis for the untreated Addison's disease). I lost 35 lbs in 13 days this time. My son had to come from Texas to Reno to get me, I was that sick. Had to sell my house, pack up, and move. He was shocked when he saw me. I was in very very bad condition. So I FINALLY was tested for Addison's disease (it took another year after my son took me back to Texas to even get scheduled for testing) and guess what ... I HAVE ADDISON'S DISEASE. Of course had I realized he was a DO and not an MD I never would have gone to see him for anything besides the medical marijuana paperwork. However I have to admit, none of the MDs I have had interactions with on this issue over the past 50 years were willing to test me for it either. In fact the doctor who finally scheduled me in with an endo only did it because she was determined that I was a head case and I would finally get my come-uppance. When I saw her after the testing and told her the results, she was actually DISAPPOINTED that I really did have Addison's disease. Needless to say I dropped her. But of all the doctors who dismissed my concerns re Addison's disease, he was the worst, the most dismissive, and the rudest. He was also equally as wrong.

After a couple of minutes, the nurse (Selena, I believe) fetched me, checked my vitals and had me wait for the nurse practitioner (Erin). After a few minutes l, they determined I needed and EKG. After the EKG, the nurse practitioner said the EKG results looked but as a precaution, she suggested I go to the emergency room. All the staff at the Urgent Care were super-nice and professional; my visit was brief, purposeful and pleasant, despite the reasons that brought me there in the first place.

My experience with Dr. Saba Mohammed proved that statement to be entirely false. It was a complete failure of medical ethics. Instead of investigating peer reviewed literature or acknowledging my documented history, Dr. Saba Mohammed defaulted to a "delusional disorder" diagnosis. This is blatant medical gaslighting. It is an attempt to pathologize a patient who is well-educated on their own condition because the provider is unable to keep up with modern research. If you have a complex illness and you are smarter than your average physician, stay away. This office would rather label you as mentally ill than do the work to understand a multi-system physiological issue. Dr. Saba Mohammed is not the most competent doctor they have. He is not competent at all. This is a provider who retreats into psychiatric labels when they are out of their depth and incapable of doing their actual job or using any level of critical thinking whatsoever.

The office is always orderly and neat; the atmosphere is relaxed and his staff is always super-nice and professional, they make my visit comfortable and puts me at ease.

The waiting room is clean and quiet. The staff have been friendly and personable. My first appointment was for a treadmill stress test. The tech was so funny and walked me through the process. All we ate was fast food, pizza and frozen meals and I could feel myself getting more unhealthy by the day. The next week we hired Jessica to meal prep for us for lunch and dinner. It was such a godsend to have home cooked healthy meals! Every week Jessica gives us a shopping list and it is so simple to instacart the exact amount needed for the week. Now we have gourmet meals prepped for home and work. I look forward to it every week. Now we actually spend less total per week including paying Jessica. I think this is because now we do not waste food. It also feels great to have an organized fridge without food wasting. The meals themself are excellent. We are on a healthy plan as well. We loved the chicken salad wraps with Greek yogurt substituted for Mayo. Cashew chicken with rice!! Yummm. She's also very creative and make dishes that I would not even conceive of and I would never make for myself. On the list for the week was ground chicken avocado spinach balls with yogurt sauce. Honestly this did not sound appealing, but we decided to go with it anyways. It was our favorite of the week. The flavors were bursting. It seemed like a fusion of Mexican and Mediterranean and we loved it! The textures we're interesting and mouthwatering. The spinach, chicken and avocado provided a complex medley of different flavors and mouth feel. The next week we had another odd ball on the menu. Strawberry chicken with balsamic? That sounded strange. We again almost discontinued this order and went with a different order however by this point Jessica definitely earned our trust as an outstanding person and chef. This again was our favorite meal of the week. The blender flavor is quite unique with the fruit mixed with the acidity of the balsamic which marinated perfectly into the chicken thighs. What started as a postpartum temporary meal plan has now turned into a fixture of our life. We gladly welcome Jessica into our home and she is very Covid conscious for anybody who is concerned.
