The national chain stores feature fluorescent lighting and pushy sales people. Not to forget all of their products are off gassing toxic petroleum and fire retardants. Sleepworld is a very relaxing atmosphere. The lighting is calm. The employees are very knowledgeable and want you to be an educated consumer. The moment that I mentioned my concerns of off gassing, I was immediately pointed towards certain products and price points. I was never judged! Nor was I given any condescending crap like, "those claims haven't been scientifically proven," or, "the EPA says those chemicals are perfectly safe!" No, I was given alternative choices. I also had the opportunity to work with Amanda the store manager. Fabulous!! Not even kidding, she's fantastic. I will shop at Sleepworld again! I will work with Amanda again. Best Bride was, and so even though we didn't have an appointment, we drove over to see if they could accommodate us. From the moment we walked in, the difference was like night and day. We were warmly greeted and when we explained what happened, they told us they'd do whatever they could to take care of us. Even though they were busy with some other appointments, they made us feel special and welcome. It was such a pleasant experience from beginning to end, and I found quite a few dresses that I am now considering. The owners are incredibly friendly and will give you exactly the kind of experience that you would hope to have. High, high marks.
